Garbage

I really wanted to like TheHappinessPlanner. But I purchased a year subscription early 2019 and it never worked. The quotes stopped loading, just a few months after purchasing and other features wouldn’t work. I would input information and it wouldn’t save. I deleted and redownloaded TheHappinessPlanner with no success. I emailed support about it, with no help and no satisfaction. They told me they would refund me after I canceled my subscription and deleted my account. I was unable to delete my account on my end, after trying everything. I sent them detailed emails and screen shots explaining to them, I was unable to do what they were asking of me. We emailed back and forth for months. I waited weeks, sometimes a month, in between responses. My last email, sent months ago, got no response. Customer service is terrible. By the time I tried to dispute the charge, it was too late. Lesson learned. So I paid $20 for nothing! Sorry to say The Happiness Planner Co. disappointed me. Would not recommend TheHappinessPlanner!! ☹️👎🏼

Great potential, but not quite there

I love the concept of this planner. I have been looking for an app like this for a while. I currently use a paper planner with a similar concept, and I LOVE it, but it’s hard to keep up with for me. I thrive in a paperless environment.

Even a solid concept and a simple yet elegant interface, this planner needs a few core features to earn the extra star from me.

1. Ability to integrate multiple calendars
2. Integrations with reminders app
3. Apple health integration for metrics (particularly meditation and sleep)
4. A digital vision board

TheHappinessPlanner would go from being cool to being powerful if these integrations were added. The ability to visualize all aspects of my life (health, fitness, personal, professional) is key for digital versions of happiness planners if this is to be a place where I can focus on being my best self. Congratulations on breaking happiness planners past the paperless market. Keep pressing for critical updates if you want to beat out upcoming competitors (Panda Planner does have a digital version in work).

Truly has worked for my well-being

Out of all the virtual planners on the store, I would recommend this one for helping you set goals from a positive mindset. You get space to reflect every day and month, and that has helped with inner awareness. It’s not a planner just for productivity, it’s also for developing meaning as you work hard and complete all your tasks.

Some things that I would love to see:
- An iPad adapted version
- The ability to reorder lists and tasks
- Paragraph view mode when typing on journals and such (as opposed to sentence view)

I wrote some months ago about glitches and they must have listened because TheHappinessPlanner is working much better. I appreciate that there have been needed updates, such as the option to automatically transfer undone tasks to the next day. I can’t wait to see what other improvements and tools they bring this year!

Almost perfect

Loving TheHappinessPlanner so far and just downloaded it. Pretty bummed about the free trial only 14 days and then for free it’s very limited only doing calendar and to dos. I know TheHappinessPlanner is brand new so I hope for new features to be added before I pay $3/m for it. Main feature needs to be importing your current calendar. I’d love to use this as my wholistic calendar/to dos/etc but that’s not very easy if I have to manually copy over events from my iPhone calendar. Add this feature and I’ll start paying!

iPad version is disappointing

I bought this for my daughter who has Cerebral Palsy, because she loves scheduling and answering questions about her emotions. She uses an iPad as her main for of communicating and writing, so when I saw this worked for iPad I jumped on it. Sadly the iPad app version is not formatted to an iPad. TheHappinessPlanner shows up as a small screen (size of an iPhone screen) on her large iPad screen, which makes it difficult to see and read. It is also is lacking an easy streamline guided step by step tutorial to get the customer engaged. I was hoping this would be a nice daily task for her to grow emotionally, but it’s functionality just isn’t quite their for iPad users.

Locked out my paid subscription and unable to get help getting back in

I really liked TheHappinessPlanner when I first started so much so that I paid for the yearly subscription. Shortly after I had to reset my phone and I have not been able to log back in since. I keep in trying to log in and when I ask to reset my password, get the message saying that a link is being sent to my inbox but nothing is ever emailed! Not even in my junk inbox. And there is no way to get in touch with them. I’m now feeling robbed

My only thing....

First the set up is great!
I use this pretty much for all my self love journaling and scheduling! I would say! It would help sooooo much if I had a weekly journal? To go over my progress through the week. I feel like that’s the only thing missing! Or maybe I’m suppose to do the journaling? I’m not sure what order to go in?
Either way, I love this thank you for making it affordable to everyone!

Help please

I downloaded TheHappinessPlanner trying to see if it would work for me, when I decided it wasn’t just what I was looking for I tried to delete my account. I could not find a way to do so, I even went the the FAQ section but it was not covered. I sent them an email they give asking for help 2 weeks ago but have never received an answer from anyone. I do not want to get charged for the subscription but cannot figure out how to delete my account. Please help! The planner itself seemed cool it just wasn’t what I was looking for but am very disappointed with the lack of response when asking for help.

The mindfulness aspect is there, but too many bugs.

The happiness planner has the perfect mindfulness templates. It allows you to truly reflect on your overall life, and allows you to take notes on texts and voice memos — super cool concept. The only thing that would push TheHappinessPlanner to the extreme is if it worked properly. TheHappinessPlanner would cross out things out and rearrange my action items based on priorities without my permission. TheHappinessPlanner would also crash frequently when I would try to fix its issues.

Good Concept

I love the concept of this planner it has everything I was looking for. The only thing I wish it had were preset options for the answers. I feel like sometimes there are questions that I can’t think of or am too busy to think of something thoughtful and having a drop box for some common answers would be nice to have, especially when your busy and don’t want to think.

I regret getting this app!

It’s perfect n cute but the only problems i have is that it won’t let me use pictures on my events even tho it lets u attach a photo, I never see it there and thn sometimes I don’t even get my notifications for a lot of my events or to dos on time. After I delete an appointment it still notifies me bout it. Weird!
TheHappinessPlanner needs a lot of fixing!!!
I’ve contacted the support team twice already but they won’t email me back bout unsubscribing. Gonna try again tomorrow n if no answer I’m gonna have to see if there’s a number I can call. Cuz it’s a waste of $2.99+tax
I highly don’t recommend TheHappinessPlanner to anyone!!!

The “To-Do” Section Has a Few Bugs

I’ve been trying to use the “To-Do” section for my daily checklist of things to get done, but I’ve run into a couple problems:

1) Rearranging the list of to-do’s doesn’t always work. I’ll reorder the tasks and then they don’t appear in the order I put them.

2) I’ll mark something as done by crossing it out, but then it won’t uncross something I marked as done by mistake. I even tried to just remake the whole list, but when I tried that, the tasks were created as already having been crossed off. I can’t find a way to fix it.

Other than these issues, I love TheHappinessPlanner . It’s been very helpful. I hope these bugs get fixed.

Hoping for more

I really do appreciate the concept behind TheHappinessPlanner ... however to navigate through it does not feel as inspiring... I am also bummed that when typing I am not able to use paragraphs.. I believe in one of the sections I couldn’t see everything I typed.

So it is not as intuitive or easy to just go through and use.

I hope that the company does a deeper dive on how to make TheHappinessPlanner more user friendly.

Great for reflecting

I love that it gets me to stop and reflect on my day through the prompts. I wish it would work without data/WiFi though. There’s been many times I was on the train and had to restore my subscription to answer the regular prompts but couldn’t connect to data/WiFi to restore the purchase. It would also be nice if they could include the free printable from the website into TheHappinessPlanner so we can have all of our happiness tools together.

Missing Functional Schedule

I used TheHappinessPlanner for a few hours just to see what features there were. I liked the goals feature and the look of TheHappinessPlanner . However it’s missing the most important feature that I’d want in an app like this. I need a functional schedule area that shows appointment times with a reminder/alert feature. Until that feature is included in TheHappinessPlanner, I will keep looking for another planner.

Pretty good

I really like the idea of TheHappinessPlanner but it does need some features to be fixed. I would like to be able to see the happiness roadmap at a glance instead of have to redo it each time. The syncing with the calendar also needs some work.
Overall nice concept especially the daily quotes and option to include pictures for meals and todo lists. Very helpful

LOVE

I have to admit finding TheHappinessPlanner was entirely serendipitous. I've been looking for something like this for a while but never truly found something that fit right. Clearly TheHappinessPlanner still needs some work but so far both the interface and concept is simply beautiful. I'm OBSESSED. Definitely sharing with everyone! ✨❤

Calendar won’t sync, no customer service

Beware of the developers comments. They just try to deflect saying try our new app! I’m using the new app and explained that to them, it still doesn’t work.

I’ve tried everything to get my calendar to sync with TheHappinessPlanner , even emailed them for help. They replied right away with a couple suggestions which didn’t work. Emailed them back and they never replied.

After trying this a year ago I was hoping this time it would be better, but no such luck.

So close to perfect!

Wish there was to see a quick view of the week to see events happening that week. Also wish there was a good place for snacks. It’s be cool if you could see weekly and daily goals and could track them in TheHappinessPlanner .

WOW.

The free version of TheHappinessPlanner offers SO MUCH. I am astounded (in the best way possible)! I am so excited to start tracking my to-do lists, goals, moods, etc!! I love TheHappinessPlanner so far and I believe everyone needs this online planner in their life. AMAZING!

This is better than anything else I've tried!!!

This is truly the best app I have ever used. I've had my ups and downs with it, but totally worth the time invested into understanding how it works. Probably seams a bit more complicated at first but that's only because it actually has so much to offer.

You get things done because of your values;

Fantastic schedule app. Helps with goal setting and allows for keeping a flexible schedule. It has a bit of a learning curve, but it's easy to use once you get the hang of it. One of the most useful personal planner apps I have tried.

Thank you very much!

TheHappinessPlanner has many of the features I like about different tools put together. I love that it serves as a values-based time log and dependency oriented day planner. And many of the best features are free so you can choose your level of support and feature requirements.
