So I’ve been using TheHomeworkApp for 2 years and its been great! But recently I got a new phone (the Xs Max) and I wasn’t able to press the “X” on the promotion screen that first pops up when opening TheHomeworkApp . I thought I would be fine just getting the 3 day free trial to get rid of the screen and I can still use TheHomeworkApp . This happened on Aug. 25, 2019. It even said on the pop-up when confirming a purchase with “3-Day Trial” and “FREE” next to it and “1 Year Subscription” with “Aug. 28, 2019” next to it. I cancelled under my iCloud account Subscriptions it immediately after hoping I wouldn’t get charged, but I got an email saying I was charged right after. When I tried to reach Apple for a refund, it automatically deemed me as ineligible for it under their purchase policies. Now I’m stuck because it says I purchased the 1 year when I thought I wouldn’t be charged after 3 days.

I’ve tried TheHomeworkApp before and deleted it and canceled subscription so of course I’m no longer qualified for the free trial which I completely forgot. But that was a long time ago. I’ve decided to re-download TheHomeworkApp and try it out again. The main screen just has the free trial offer which I forgot I already did so I pressed it and repurchased the subscription. Trying to re-familiarize myself with TheHomeworkApp I realized the functions I want cost extra which confused me cause I thought it was all one full price. Disappointed, I logged out and deleted TheHomeworkApp . That’s when I realized I paid for a year subscription, so I thought that I might as well get some use out of it. When I go to download TheHomeworkApp again the main page only shows the promo button for the free trial which prompts me to buy the year subscription. There is no log in button and I’m not risking accidentally paying double.

Maybe it’s just me, but TheHomeworkApp freezes as soon as I enter it for a solid 10 seconds, sometimes more. This usually wouldn’t be an issue, but since it’s like a reminder, I wish it would work faster so you could go in and put stuff in quickly. It also doesn’t work offline, which is probably for important reasons, but I don’t see how this affects setting reminders which is frustrating because you can’t remind yourself of things until you have internet, and maybe have forgotten by then. TheHomeworkApp also has an in app purchase for adding subtasks, which is the biggest difference it would have from a normal reminder app. Finally, I would appreciate it if a website was added so you could access this on a computer.

i’ve only starting using TheHomeworkApp about 2 weeks ago, when my friend recommended it to me. It was perfect! I loved how you could easily add things on, and keep track of your assignments. But now, the new update has been causing troubles for me, and i’m sure, for other people too. It used to load quickly once you tapped TheHomeworkApp , but now it takes almost a minute of waiting. Then when you think it’s finally over, you have a pop-up practically yelling at you. What exactly does the pop-up ask you to do? It asks you to buy premium. Every. Single. Time you launch TheHomeworkApp . Can you imagine how annoying that is? Finally when you exit out, it once again pursues asking for you to at LEAST try the free trial. Then, you can finally organize your things. I feel like they should remove that, as it’s so repetitive. Other than that, i’d say it’s okay

I am a junior in high school who started using TheHomeworkApp a few weeks ago, and I love it!... when I can get into it :/ I have an iPhone X and if you don’t have the premium version of TheHomeworkApp , it shows an advertisement to get the premium version. This wouldn’t be a problem, except that the ‘x’ to close the ad is in the very top left corner of the screen, and with an iPhone X, you can’t press it unless you continually tap on it for at least a few minutes until it finally closes and lets you into TheHomeworkApp . It’s gotten to the point where I don’t even use TheHomeworkApp anymore because I know I’ll have to take 5 minutes just trying to close the premium advertisement. It would be really helpful to have a way to access the advertisement that wasn’t at the very top corner of the screen, so it’s accessible to all different iPhone users. Thanks so much!!

I am currently enrolled in ten classes, making it a challenge to organize and manage all my homework and assignments. But luckily, I found TheHomeworkApp which makes keeping homework and assignments that are due very simple and easy. The organization is simple for even the least technology-advanced people to use, and putting in classes and such very efficient. I highly recommend for anybody looking for an organized planner.

Now on the down side, as many reviews before me has said, the recent update on the “Premium” ad has cut off the ‘X’ button so you can no longer press it. This causes it to be impossible to exit out of TheHomeworkApp , leaving TheHomeworkApp unusable. I ask the developers to please fix this issue soon or I will have to download another app for my scheduling. Thanks.

This is a great app for telling track of assignments and homework, and I look forward to using it much more, but the only problem is that I have a iPhone X, and when you open TheHomeworkApp and the pop-up for the subscription comes up, the time in the corner blocks the X button and I have to keep trying to press around it and I can only use TheHomeworkApp after about a minute when I finally press it. It would be perfect if you could could just move the X button down a bit so I can quickly write down assignments. Again, I love TheHomeworkApp and I would use it much more if you change the placement so I can use it quickly in class. Thank you!

I really like TheHomeworkApp, the design is nice and it’s overall very clean and organized. Two downsides: the ad in the beginning when you open TheHomeworkApp for people who use the free version. I get that you guys are trying to get people to pay for the subscription but an ad continuing to pop up won’t want me to pay any more for it than before. The second downside is that you have to use cellular data for TheHomeworkApp (you can’t turn it off in settings, it will just say “loading” forever). I find this extremely dysfunctional because TheHomeworkApp does not need internet for its job. Overall though, it’s pretty good! Please take into consideration my review.

I started my junior year of high school with so much homework that I began finding hard to keep track of. Never did I use a planning app before, but out of all the ones I saw, this is the best! I love the different features such as color-coded classes, the calendar feature, and the nice countdown clock that they give you to show exactly how many hours/days you have until the assignment is due. However, my favorite feature is the priority rating option they give you. Balancing all your classes can be hectic, so I really enjoy the “low, medium, high” urgency rate they allow you to mentally sort yourself out.

However, if there are two suggestions I could make it would be 1.) to please add a section for extracurricular activities, and 2.) to possibly add a feature that shows what KIND of assignment is due, like an essay, homework worksheet, project, etc. (Sometimes you have multiple things to do in one class and it’s easier to put it in more specific categories.) Other than that, I truly love TheHomeworkApp so far, which says a lot as I’m writing a review! <3

I’m a student and I like having everything organized all the time. I recently had a planner but that just wasn’t working out for me so I went to TheHomeworkApp Store and downloaded many apps, but they all took so long to put all my classes and assignments on except for this one. I was so exited but the only problem of TheHomeworkApp is that there are limited classes to put into your planner. What I mean is that they all have the basic classes math English science history p.e but they don’t have the other classes like business or communication applications. Which was very upsetting because I had to choose other and break for those to and it’s very confusing. I want to be able to make a task and then customize my own class not choose it from TheHomeworkApp . Another thing is that it doesn’t give me reminders for my class like it said which is very frustrating.

But overall TheHomeworkApp is great and I’ve only had it a couple days! There are no adds every second you click on it! I would love if the creators read my comment and made an update to TheHomeworkApp for the customizing your own classes.

TheHomeworkApp is great, works great, looks great and has really helped me stay caught up with my homework. I have been using for about 3 months now and have just loved it.
I really wish they would add a couple features though. These include a calendar that you can put activities in like going to a game or a club. Also being able to set reoccurring assignments. I am kind of disappointed they don’t have this. I am sure many of you have something like an online quiz every week and I wish that they would just make it so that I could set an assignment to reoccur every Thursday. This would make my life so much easier.
Please add in these feature to make TheHomeworkApp just that much better, anyways, thanks for the help it has given me!!!

Last year when I used TheHomeworkApp, I didn’t need WiFi or Cellular for it to load. I wouldn’t forget a single homework because I could always type the homework whenever I got it. However, half into the next semester it failed to load. It told me to check my connection. High School have some places that is like a cell where data and WiFi doesn’t pass through. Because of TheHomeworkApp requiring data or WiFi, I wasn’t able to write my homework down right away in some places. Which lead me to receive a couple of zeros on my homework assignment because I didn’t write my homework down and forget to when I get WiFi or data after. Please make TheHomeworkApp like last year, TheHomeworkApp will be awesome if it doesn’t require WiFi or data.

I really love TheHomeworkApp, it’s way easier for me to keep track of assignments with this versus pulling out a planner book. The color coding and calendar options are fantastic! One suggestion:

I use the widget like crazy, but for some reason when I mark a task as completed in TheHomeworkApp , it still remains in the widget. It would be better if the completed tasks would disappear from the widget so then I am just quickly seeing what needs to be done versus those and what I’ve already done. It sets off a millisecond of panic when I look at the widget and see ALL these tasks that I’ve already done, thinking I have that much work to do! It’s satisfying to be able to watch your “pile” become less. Huge suggestion!! If that were changed, it’d be a solid 5 Star app for sure!

TheHomeworkApp is sooo helpful in organizing and categorizing my workload. Even without premium, TheHomeworkApp is a fully functional task organizer and is (for the most part) easy to use and has a nice clean interface. That being said, there are definitely some things that could make TheHomeworkApp even better, such as an option to sync with Google calendar and a less glitchy reminder system. Also, I got lifetime premium before premium was subscription-based, but I’m still getting the ad for premium that I have to wait up to 10 seconds to load and then click the x to get rid of. Also, if there was a way to click on a task so that it will expand to show the subtasks without having to go into editing the task itself, that would make the experience much smoother. Just little improvements such as these could push TheHomeworkApp to be even better!

I love TheHomeworkApp. It’s great but there’s a few things I don’t like. While TheHomeworkApp is entirely free, it doesn’t let you do some things in TheHomeworkApp . Additionally, I added the widget to my phone so I can check quickly but it always says “You have no upcoming tasks” which is quite annoying when I do. One time, I had an essay to do and put it down, but then it was the next morning and I realized I had an essay for homework. The first thing I thought was that I messed up and forgot to put it on TheHomeworkApp but I didn’t. I checked TheHomeworkApp and saw I put it down; it just didn’t tell me. This is bad especially since this could’ve been in the middle of class when I realized but still, what if that actually happened? My conclusion of TheHomeworkApp is that it’s great and it very helpful but only if you check TheHomeworkApp , not the widget.
Thanks for reading and if this is the owner of TheHomeworkApp , please fix this so I can go back to using TheHomeworkApp. It’s great but that’s a big problem for me. Thanks

I LOVE this homework organizer app. It helps me keep track of all of my assignments and there are options to categorize them by priority, class, or due date. I also love that it’s really user friendly and free. You can upgrade, but there’s really no point. No pesky ads to get rid of and no monthly fee to start with. I would really appreciate a new feature with which you can add an estimate of how long it will take you to complete that assignment (however many minutes), and each night it will alert you of both your assignments and how long it will take for you to complete all of them (sum of times of all individual assignments). Thank you for this AMAZING app!!

I started using this at the beginning of this year as a high school freshman. I used to write down all of my assignments, but I found TheHomeworkApp is a faster and easier way of doing that. I like the color coding of classes and the way that TheHomeworkApp looks while using it. It’s worked really well for me for putting down all of my assignments as I get them and then checking them off as I do them. The only thing I find weird is that sometimes when I try to set the due date it’ll be on the wrong month but it’s not a big problem. Overall, I find TheHomeworkApp very helpful for using during virtual schooling for me.

This was really useful and I loved TheHomeworkApp and I used it all the time but now I can never get into it because it has this thing that shows up about paying money for pro. I don’t wanna sign up for it because I like it without it. But whenever I go to tap the x it never lets me. Idk about anyone else, but that always happens to me, and when I swipe out it still comes up with it and I can never get in and use TheHomeworkApp . So I don’t really use it anymore. Unless you can try to fix this issue. It would really help and I would definitely give a higher rating but since I can’t even get in TheHomeworkApp anymore, it’s gonna stick with a three.

I’m a type of person that’s organized and wants to be really responsible on my studies. I was looking at apps about homework and planners, and I found TheHomeworkApp. I wanted to take a shot and I got REALLY into it. Now, to me, this is like a digital planner and I really like it better than the planners the school gives you. On TheHomeworkApp, you can track dates it’s due, reminders, it tells you have much days you have left, and it gives you a calendar for your own information that you want. Now I’m way more organized than I used to be and i would t rather use any other app! TheHomeworkApp really helps, big thanks to the creators.

Before, I got another app and to be honest, it was kind of confusing. I decided to delete that and download this one. TheHomeworkApp is so helpful: It reminds you your homework, it asks you the priority of it (how important your homework is), and it asks for the class for example: Social Studies, Math, ELA, Science, Health, P.E., etc. I really really REALLY recommend TheHomeworkApp!!!! If your a student that wants to turn in there homework in time.. GET TheHomeworkApp! If your having trouble procrastinating or want to do better....GET TheHomeworkApp! If you just want to have a homework app just to have it for your personal reason...GET TheHomeworkApp!! This has helped me and I guarantee it’ll help you...so all I’m saying is to download TheHomeworkApp...NOW!!!!! 😊
