Ever since the latest update, I started seeing a message that asks me to update MetroBank to be able to login into my account. To update MetroBank I need to upgrade iOS to 13.5, however my iOS device can’t be upgraded to that version, meaning I can’t update MetroBank either. At this point I’m unable to use my account and pay my bills! I was satisfied with the old app and with this update it means I can’t bank with Metro anymore and I’ll need to look for alternatives.
It’s a very clear bank however you can’t see the ref that people write on the transfer and you don’t get notifications.
In terms of card renewal, Metro bank is ridiculous. They don’t send new cards automatically (absolutely okay), instead they expect you to use the damaged card replacement function and don’t give any indication about that, even in the wording of their app and website. You walk in a branch and get informed (in a “isn’t that common sense” tongue) and then waste half an hour in your life waiting for the new card. Reconsider your business with them if that’s not the kind of customer service you expect.
Easy to use and navigate all basic banking needs. Could do with a few upgrades - most importantly mobile cheque deposits.
Thanks for adding the search function to MetroBank . So much more useful now! Previously I could only really use it to make payments. Are there any plans to add the ability to search by amount of transaction?
It’s the best Bank I known Metro Bank that opens even weekends for convenient to customers and people works late..

As far as I know it’s safe and easy app but usually closes when takes a minute out of it to grab an info otherwise it is really reliable
