Until recently I could just press the Ask Alexa button, issue a command or ask a question, it would just process it, do it and go away. That was perfect. Now, it insists on displaying a interface with keyboard and or mic and it sucks. Please tell me how to fix. This is horrible. It was great just the way it was. Please fix this or tell me how to fix this. I've gone into its settings and there is no help there. I cuss every time I have to use it first thing in the morning when I want to snooze for a few more minutes.

How to fix Ask app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Ask app on iPhone
Update Ask app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Ask iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Ask on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Ask network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Ask Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Ask not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Ask App
1. On android, goto Settings » Ask » click [Force Stop]

Update Ask to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Ask App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Ask » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Ask.

Fix Ask unable to contact server/ Ask internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Ask » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Ask » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
