The drop downs for selecting month and year for a debit card payment are really crazy. If you select January the month will be 12. You have to select the next month for the required months number and next year for the required year. How can they not even do a basic testing of payment process. Also, I have tried 2 different cards and didn’t get any OTP. They really have to fix this ASAP and do some basic testing before release

I have been using ixigo for past several years now but their customer service and overall train ticket booking experience has degraded. Recently while booking a train ticket they showed available seats and in the end they handed me a WL47 ticket! On reporting the issue they asked me to give them 72 hours, while my money was stuck with them and I couldn’t book another ticket. Also while cancelling the ticket they gave back lesser amount than what IRCTC emailed me about. Stay clear of these type of apps when making urgent bookings or you might end up loosing your money and in most cases would end up paying for a WL ticket.

i ve used ixigoTrainBusMetroTicket twice for train reservation. it was such a disappointment because the amount got deducted but apparently the ixigo app didnt receive it. ixigoTrainBusMetroTicket mentions about giving instant refund which never happened in my case. the UI is good but whats the point of having it when u mess up with the most important part ie handling transactions!!! i hope i get my refund soon enough

Their constant promotional spam is distracting and annoying. And they have not offered anyway to cut it off. Nor do they offer anyway to reach out to them. Very cyclical and stupid approach to customer service. All this very typical of Indian scum apps. But they have the demographic advantage - too many people and too many unquestioning, tame users. Their telecom regulator is a toothless dumb pretender.

My journey date is today and I tried to check my ticket status yesterday it was showing my train is running which is ridiculous I mean how come the journey is started when the booking is for next day and this is not the first time it’s happening it happened before too so better fix it or else del your app

Best app to plan your trip through indian railway. It does all actions that you would need to, for train journeys.
You can also book quality food through it.

Very good app its does everything from train timetable , reservations and live status of train and much more ! But train live status is little off but it gives an approximate location of train.
Wish developer can fixed & come up with more accurate updates!
But overall this is the best app so far when it come to train travel In india !

Easy to use and get adapted with best interface and easy payment and transactions probably the best app for Indians on Iphone for booking trains and flights keep going. Only one thing that bothers me is password which is being asked after every transaction. Thank you

I am blown away by this wonderful app. Information at fingertips.
One suggestion is to print the coach and seat number in the boarding pass. I had to go back to ixigoTrainBusMetroTicket to look for it. use iOS.

I am very sorry to write this review. The experience of booking & cancellation is good. But what I don’t understand is while 3 senior citizens have booked together you put them in different compartments and that too in upper births. Just inhuman attitude. While the preference is given for lower birth and it’s not available you should say that before confirmation. We would have booked for an alternate train. Kishore

Was extremely easy to book a train ticket. Journey updates are excellent and status showed up in the notification bar with platform. Very cool.

Given the complexity of using the IRCTC website, I wasn't expecting a good experience with the mobile app. But it's a great mobile experience -- easy to look up your train schedule and check your PNR status. It even loaded my tickets onto my Apple Wallet. Great job!

Have been using ixigoTrainBusMetroTicket for last 4 years and it’s never been disappointing. One of best railway, bus and flight booking app I have ever used. Some of features I like most are coach position, Apple wallet support and reliable customer service and support.

Last time booking find customer doesn’t have option to select birth according to our choice. Only while issuing the ticket birth allocation is from your system. So it should be added available birth/seats

I like the way they integrate features with latest offering from iOS . Like instance, they have integrated the train running status with Apple live activities providing you seamless update of the train status .

Loved the way it do service.
It generates everything automatically like option for ticket for coming back.
But I want it to grow more by directly showing available seats for coming back.

That's great to Knowing the platform number in advance can be really helpful for planning your trip and making sure you're in the right spot when it's time to board. Railway officers were helpful in all the brothers to sit together. We were in different compartments and were meeting after 20 years and wanted to sit together and talk together during the journey. One of the Ticket collectors was very thoughtful and organized it so we could spend good quality time together. Thank you sir for your kindness!
