Trainline for Business Reviews

The translations and UI in English a bit hard to follow, but overall fairly easy to use. When our first train was cancelled (with no notice that 8 heard) we were able to board the replacement no problem showing the fix on the phone. However when trying to arrange a new connection it was very difficult and took a lot of waiting in line. Finally received great personal attention when I thought we’d never make it to front of line in time, the agent printed out the fix, said needed special attention with the discount(which I didn’t understand) but we got it. No seat assignments which made it difficult and awkward but it worked. Think we lucky. Train problems not app’s fault, but no good advice on how to fix the problem which would have been a huge help.

Trainline is incredibly easy to use regardless of traveling one time or multiple times. You can reserve these tickets at home before you leave home or from the comfort of your hotel room once in Europe. And retrieving tickets at the train stations is a piece of cake. Sometimes the ticket machines don’t allow the charge to go through on my credit card forcing me to go from machine to machine finding one that will. Trainline saves valuable time. Greatly appreciate this excellent app.

I've been searching for a European train app for (mostly) research and planning purposes. Until now, iRail was the best. In my tests, this app provides most (not all) of your train route options, but it does provide the fastest routes. I mean, why choose the one option which takes an hour longer? While I tend to want to make the most informed decision and know all my options, the truth is, I would never take the least efficient option, so this app EU is my new go-to train app.. Another plus: a great help section! I like that they provide known strike information and user recourse.

I have enjoyed using Trainline for its ease of use, but:
1) am confused by there being a new, similar, but more confusing interface this app app
2) I have tried finding tickets for trains from Lisbon to Porto with no success on Trainline , but had no issue finding them on Portugal’s train tickets website (and purchasing them there.)

Using Trainline in France. It is so much better than the national railway one... Just in another league.

I am removing one star though because you cannot easily switch accounts: it would be so much easier to be able to switch between personal and professional accounts in just one tap (or between accounts in general).

Bought tickets before I got Trainline , then created an account but didn’t have my recently bought tickets available. Contacted them on here, with just an email address they had all my tickets displayed and accessible within the hour. Will be buying tix right on here next time.

Quick and easy to use. Simple format makes it very clear while searching for trips.

You can easily open an account through their phone app after purchase and then easily transfer your ticket to show in your this app app account. Quick!

This review is more so for this app’s Customer Service. The website/app wasn’t taking my credit card number. I emailed them and messaged them on Twitter (just in case) and they responded very promptly and politely and fixed the issue so I could purchase my ticket. The price was great too!

Trainline is easy to use, gives multiple options, and good information about the train amenities and connections (including connection time between trains). For an old couple who are not very fluent in any language but English, Trainline is great.

Great planning app and couldn’t be simpler when it comes time to book. Enter all passenger info once for my wife and I. Keeps credit card info! Insert all of your discount cards and they are applied automatically.

So convenient, I’m from Silicon Valley and man, Trainline in Europe is just amazingly quick, user friendly and super easy to use!!! Also tickets can be paid with Apple Pay and added to your iPhone! Love it! Also prices are so affordable!

Finally an app that’s works! And is good!!! Easy to pay and it takes literally minutes to book and seconds to pay. That is what the internet is supposed to be like!!!

The ticketing process is very convenient and streamlined. It only took me few minutes to book. Trainline is user friendly too. I would recommend Trainline and ticketing process.

Able to book all my train travel through France and Belgium for 4 people, using Trainline. Seem to give me all important information without having to talk to a person.

After hours spent to no avail on the Spanish Railways website, I was able to purchase the train tickets I needed in less than five minutes using this app. I highly recommend it!

It’s a solid app. It didn’t accept my email address because there was an extra space after it, which was weird. But over all a pretty good experience.

this app has proven to be an indispensable app for navigating and traveling Europe by train. Easily locate train routes through many cities throughout Europe including direct routes/ connecting trains. Great prices, Easy to use, Accepts Apple Pay. Awesome!

Please include the ability to pay for tickets on the same reservation with multiple credit cards. Thank you!

I’m Soooo happy I found Trainline and this app!!! Without them it was impossible to purchase train tickets in Europe fro the US. All other sites gave me a very hard time to approve my purchase. Not this app. Of course, I had to register so that they got to know me better, lol. Before, I was so frustrated and nervous because my trip was getting closer and closer, and I didn’t have my tickets and reservations ready yet. I even had to purchase an airplane ticket to comeback to Paris from Bordeaux, since other sites didn’t even showed me the right itineraries. this app gave me all the options I needed. I’m so happy now, and my wife is so excited too. Thank you so much this app for offering me the trust I needed. God bless you!
