Don’t like app. Don’t like bank.

CVB has CONSTANT errors. Error updating balance. All. The. Time. I’m very unhappy with this bank in general. It’s completely unacceptable to be so constantly unable to get an accurate balance. It worked briefly this morning after not working all weekend. And now I looked and the last updated balance was ten hours ago and “error updating balance.” Ridiculous!! The SECOND you leave CVB to look at something on your phone and come immediately back to the banking app, you have to login again. There should be some measure of time where that doesn’t happen. This bank has been quite difficult to work with in general. Here’s a hint, when someone dies, the LAST people to tell is the bank. That said, CVB was my last straw with this bank (and it’s only been two weeks). I will be taking all the money out, closing all accounts, and going elsewhere. To a bank where there’s an app that works! And access to my bank accounts with accurate and updated balance information AT ALL TIMES!!!!

Buggy. Constant error messages, balance changes up and down randomly.

Used to be a good app. Balances shown were accurate and updated instantly. Now? The last 6-8 months transactions will disappear for a day or two after having shown originally, then show back up. Balances will go up or down randomly. Will get a message that my balance has gone below the limit I had set, only for it to be above the limit the next day.
What once was a good app is now just junk.

Update crashes

Just updated CVB today and now it crashes. Not the first time this has happened. Last time it took 3 months before it started working again. So very frustrating and unnecessary.

Doesn’t work more than half the time

Almost every time I open CVB my account doesn’t refresh. You will have no idea if a payment has gone through until days later. Horrible app, I will be switching banks.

Mobile Deposit

I did a mobile deposit on a Friday night because I needed the funds asap and I live in Oregon. The funds were not available till Monday. I called and asked if they could cancel the transaction so I could drive to the nearest this app on Saturday to deposit the check but they said it cannot be cancelled. Very inconvenient!!!

This app and bank is terrible

If I could give negative stars I would, CVB doesn’t always update correctly as money comes out of your account so if you think you have money sometimes you don’t. CVB does not work at least three times a week, causing you to not be able to see how much money you have or transfer anything and sometimes not let you use the card at all. This is the worst bank I have ever used and if you are thinking about using it, don’t!

Used to be so good

CVB used to be great. Now I can’t even sign back into my account it’s locked me out of it because of an update that it won’t do. I go to CVB and it says you need to update. So I go to the Apple store and it says open. I’ve updated all I can update. I’m really learning to hate CVB which is making me hate the bank.

Fix all buggings

Still has errors to update even after waiting 24 hours to make sure that the correct balance shows and it still doesn’t show.

Needs work!

The old app loaded transactions almost instantly, CVB really needs more work! Transaction posting takes 2 or 3 days sometimes before the information finally shows up. Very frustrating and feels pointless to have an app for account information on your mobile device handy for a quick assessment of your finances if the information is never there until 3 days after the transactions are made! Please put an update through to fix this!!

Best bank ever

I enjoy going to this bank because they know me by name.
The staff is always friendly and courteous.
The stall seems genuinely happy to be there.
The manager gives me hugs.
They have free suckers/lollipops.

Broken

The last update broke CVB . Each time I log in now CVB immediately crashes. Please fix ASAP.

Phone app limitations

It would be convenient to be able to change bill pay amounts using CVB instead of having to use computer. It was such a hassle, even using the computer to see how to do it. I had to have help from their technicians.

NEEDS MORE WORK

CVB is really handy and nice but it needs more work. My balances don’t los fast enough when I need them too and it takes a while.

I don’t like how slow CVB is to calculate my transactions

Excellent

App works great, fantastic communication from the bank, and excellent technical support when I’ve needed it. Not sure if CVB is great or it’s the employees behind it that are great; certainly employees, maybe CVB .
