I recently met a Hungarian artist, living in Germany, during Plein Air Live (PAL) 2022 (an annual international virtual artists’ workshop). We were introduced in a 7 attendees private chat room, but time ran out before we could exchange contact information. I contacted the PAL hostess and she helped us reconnect. I am American with Hungarian and German ancestry on my father’s side of the family. So, not only having an artistic connection, we have a heritage connection. I was able to see her press releases on German websites, but unable to read the text. Your translation app has enabled me to read, in English, what the German text revealed about her work. I am so delighted to have found this application because it has opened new doors and conversations I thought I could never enter. Now, not only in the German language, but the several other languages you have available on your app., I can understand what is being presented. Thank you so much, I will recommend it highly!!

Works good and is useful. I have a few webpages that I like to view that I need translated. So far so good.

The developer corrected my privacy concerns by adding an auto-delete function—now WebsiteTranslator works as it should. Quite a useful app … highly recommended!

WebsiteTranslator doubled in size after translating only four web pages—apparently it's caching data from every page that it translates. The only way that I found to remove this data was by deleting and then reinstalling WebsiteTranslator . The developer needs to add a "clear the cache" button to WebsiteTranslator 's user interface. Until this feature is added, Website Translate for Safari poses a fairly large privacy risk.

It’s been really useful in translating websites on my phone and has expanded my ability to get information on the internet from foreign countries. The only improvement I wish it had was a back web page button and forward web page button. That way I could navigate websites within the translation app instead of having to try and find the web page with the information I am looking for in a foreign language and then using WebsiteTranslator to translate it to confirm.

Wasn’t expecting to much just possibly slightly better transitions than I get from Google or Microsoft apps, I mean there completely free and translates the whole page unless you incur a server error. But was so aggrieved that I can only remember that it would bring to a page devoid of any text as if asking what would you like me to do. Well I would have liked you to at least stay on the website I was on, immediately deleted app, guess a lesson well learned just because it includes the reference that it translates web pages, before purchasing check past users critical reviews. Not the favored as who knows if they are actual people.

WebsiteTranslator works very well, where ever I am on Safari I can translate it. Unlike some websites it won’t allow me to translate it when I press the Aa button near the search button on the website. It’s simple and easy to use you only need to wait a few seconds.

Every time I translate a webpage, I get a few brief seconds to view the translation, and then then I get a message that I am one of the lucky few chosen to have an opportunity to win a Samsung phone if I just answer a few questions. I don’t want this frigging opportunity; all I want is to be able to view the translated website. This useless app informs me that I can tap in the title bar to return to my browser. This returns me to the untranslated webpage. I plan to delete WebsiteTranslator right after I finish this review !

Very clear instructions on how to set this up on your device. Works like a charm and I was able to translate a web page without 5,000 pop ups within a few moments.

Definitely an essential app while browsing the Internet. I read international news often, which means I will encounter foreign language articles from time to time. Tons of Information and news has been greatly clarified now. Thanks so much!

What an easy way to learn and practice a new language. I try reading an article in the language I’m learning, then read it in my language to see how much I understood. It add to my vocabulary and when reading news, understanding of what is going on in another country.

Anyone who travels or lives abroad. It has, above everything, lowered my stress and dependency. Very effective and 95% percent accurate to the point where it is easily understood what the context of the webpage is. It is an absolute to have and will definitely be a permanent fixture on all of our families devices. Well done, designer! Well done!

Super useful utility that I haven’t seen anything like before. Very quick to translate any page that is open in another window so your page is undisturbed. Overall satisfied with WebsiteTranslator, kudos to the dev!

So the reason I got WebsiteTranslator was like the rest of you. Only problem is if you’re trying to translate anything that has signs or kanji like Japanese for example this only works if what your trying to translate is in English letters not if you were trying to translate こんにちは which is Japanese for hello it doesn’t work like that which I didn’t know. Now I’ve wasted my money sadly. Maybe in the future you could make WebsiteTranslator to where it can read Japanese kanji and other things. Other than that WebsiteTranslator is great 👍

One of my hobbies is playing a game known as Monster Hunter. The series originates from Japan and often has a lot of events. WebsiteTranslator, when set up as an in-browser translator is incredibly helpful in keeping up with my game and is very easy to use. Hats off to a well made application.

Just downloaded and applied to a web page in German. Poof! - worked perfectly on an iPhone X without any of the issues reported by some others. Translated the whole page quickly. Very useful!

When you translate a page, it pops up a new window over the browser with the translation. You need to click on the "return to Safari" button at the top to go back to browsing the page. You cannot interact with the translated page, you have to go back to the original, navigate to what you want, and then translate again. You also don’t get the entire page translated, just the top part.

It will not translate PDFs pulled up in the browser.

It will not properly translate Taobao store pages, and does not translate everything on the main website, such as menus and any text not part of the main body html.

In my opinion, not worth the cost.

Tried this website translator. In my first attempt at translating a German language website, to English, it worked well and was accurate enough to understand the thoughts of the author.

Just purchased this add and I haven’t been able to get it to work at all. I followed the developer’s instructions for adding WebsiteTranslator to Safari but WebsiteTranslator does not come up in the list of options to add as described. Tried to email the developer for support but the email address listen in WebsiteTranslator Store comes back as non-deliverable. SCAM!

Google Auto Webpage Translate wasn’t working at all on this site, and WebsiteTranslator solved the problem completely. The ease to use it in Safari is great as well.

For something that cost money, I expect it to do it's job well. As in, it needs to translate the entire webpage that I need it to. To be fair, I give one star for the Baidu translate option.

But translating strictly only the top 1/10 of the webpage? (And sometimes not even that much!) What am I supposed to do with the rest of what I need?

Wish I could get my money back. Definitely uninstalling!

Just working with WebsiteTranslator for the first time. So far, it’s been easy to set up and start translating. I do not hav enough knowledge at this time to rate it a 5 thus my rating of 4 stars for now .

No longer going to great lengths for a translation. I used to copy and paste into Google Translate (always a headache with lengthy text on news articles, etc). Couldn't be easier with this handy app! 😃

Web translate used to be a reliable and accurate translate app but I’m finding that it’s not able to translate some simple webpages that it would have been able to in the past. WebsiteTranslator needs an update

It does not load pages well. When you open other links, documents, pictures or videos or hit any next button it does not load properly to even allow you to see the next page. Don’t buy WebsiteTranslator. But something else that works.!
