Do not waste your time with AirTranslatePhotoTranslator, I asked it to translate japanese text to english but it was still in japanese but it said it was in english, a so called “translator app” should be able to translate simple text so don’t bother even downloading AirTranslatePhotoTranslator and keep it away from children it’s very easy to tap in the wrong place and get you sucked into a subscription service, and one more thing I wrote a review earlier for AirTranslatePhotoTranslator but I’m having to do it again why whould that be, I hope for the developer’s sake that this sleesy act does not violate their tos agrreement cause if it does they’re history on apple devices

How do i cancel my subscription, also your settings which half of which don’t even work btw.... had a restock option and none of the other buttons are working at this point so i’m trying them all. Hey look at that my subscription has been restocked. i’d like a refund and to cancel my subscription now and some guidance as to do so because your app is dis functional

I didn’t even have AirTranslatePhotoTranslator on my phone. No memory of ever downloading it and found out I was being charged $8 per WEEK since July. I never authorized any payments, not ever even used AirTranslatePhotoTranslator , but they continued to charge me without it even being on my phone.

Be very careful of this type of predatory app- I had to call Apple to cancel.

Had the worst experience ever. Google translate much better and it’s totally free, what this application keeps sending you bills even after cancelling your subscription!!!!! What is wrong with app creators?? I cancelled my subscription and deleted the whole application from my mobile, why would I keep reviewing payment bills on my email????

Although AirTranslatePhotoTranslator is somewhat functional (i.e. it can translate some word but not a coherent sentence, you will have to determine the context and figure it out yourself), the ease of cancellation is extremely hard to go. It said to go to account setting however every time you click on setting AirTranslatePhotoTranslator crashes. And they continue to charge $7.99 PER WEEK!

Couldn’t even recognize French and thought it was Russian. Even when I corrected it to the right language, it still translated only 15% of it correctly. The rest was incorrectly translated, in French AND in the wrong language (it translated part of it as Russian).

Handy, like a dictionary

Signed up for the free trial for 15 minutes and decided I did not want to pay for AirTranslatePhotoTranslator monthly. I immediately contacted the team to see how I could cancel my account and I got no response and was charged. Surprised I didn’t hear back and disappointed that I was charged.

Can’t speak for the paid version, but I got to translate about 3 photos before it requires me to pay for another version. After one photo, made me watch an ad. The translation was only 50/50. Some things seemed correct but others didn’t make sense to me.

Worked fine on Japanese phrase I scanned, but just to get to that point, I had to dismiss a subscription screen and watch an ad. Then turns out have to subscribe for additional use. Not sure who the target market is for AirTranslatePhotoTranslator. Deleted.

Why doesn’t it give the option of saying the word in the original language? We use Chinese to English but we need it to say the word in Chinese like it used to. What’s going on?

AirTranslatePhotoTranslator translates decently well. However, without using premium, you can only translate 3 phrases a day! I would recommend at least 5 a day.

Only allows 3 uses a day this is stupid because people sometimes need to translate more then 3 pictures a day and it requires a subscription that is so expensive for a couple days for more than 3 uses

AirTranslatePhotoTranslator is okay but mostly annoying but you can give AirTranslatePhotoTranslator your soul and 7.50$ a month to make is sort of functional. All the 5 star reviews and very clearly bots. AirTranslatePhotoTranslator is no bueno and just a cash grab.

Just tried it out but the iPad version was so unclear on unsubscribing status. I thought I clicked something for unsubscribe but can’t tell if it was still going to charge me, Emailed support people on this but no response.

I bought this while I was abroad and it was super mediocre. That was more than a year ago (I completely deleted AirTranslatePhotoTranslator when I returned) and I STILL GET CHARGED. It’s very inconsistent charges and I can’t get them to stop.

I’ve tried over and over. It still comes out as the same language just spelled in English letters

I got to take one photo before I was told I have to pay for the subscription to continue. I just was trying to finish up homework.

AirTranslatePhotoTranslator is horrible, because it doesn’t work.
Do not download AirTranslatePhotoTranslator. its a waste of time and doesn't work. How can I get a refund??

I tried it with good lighting and it still did not work at all. Just said the box was empty

After a handful of translations it stopped working
