I use go translate a lot, as a Korean pop fan, sometimes translations don’t come out and I have to use go translate to translate what I want to see. Using GoTranslate makes it SO MUCH EASIER. I love the writing and camera feature. Sometimes the camera doesn’t always find all the words, but the feature is so helpful when im writing and I want to check my work, or if something is in a different language and I want to know what it is. The writing feature is also super awesome because I can write in the word in example, Korean and it translates it for me. Sometimes I do feel like the translations are not very accurate as in when I put the other translation through to check and it comes out as something different, but of course the translations can’t always be correct. Overall, GoTranslate is easy to use and I love it!

I'm in American who lives in Mexico full-time. I moved here in March from Texas. This application lets me do everything that I've ever dreamed of and more as a Spanish conversion application. For example, I can dictate a phrase or an email in English and it converts into Spanish for me in real time. I can enter into Spanish word and it converts it to English. I can use the photo feature on this and take a picture of text in Spanish and it converts it in real time in English. It also does pronunciations so I can continue to practice my Spanish. In short, I've never seen a thing like this and I am completely thrilled. I've never written a review for an application although I'm a long time Apple user. And I'm happy to report this is a five out of five application. PS I have taught my 71-year-old mother how do use this application as well. And she loves it!

I have been using GoTranslate for a long time and I can say, GoTranslate is absolutely wonderful. It has helped me in quick situations where I forget a word in another language. I just need to type the word in and out comes the word in the other language. Of course like any other translator, it’s not always correct. The best solution for this problem is to:1) If you have a big paragraph, split it into sentences and translate it that way,OR2) For any words in a sentence that don’t directly translate into your preferred language, translate the word alone and after that, swap the word that didn’t translate with the word alone.(Keep in mind that these situations are my last minute options so if someone were to tell me that a word in my sentence or paragraph was wrong, I’m usually not surprised.)Anot

I am a very inquisitive man who likes to travel frequently between my home in the alps and many of my other houses situated in exotic places around the world including Hong Kong, The Caribbean and South America. GoTranslate is so easy and quick to use. There has only been one downside for me and that is having to download the languages for all of the places I go to! For example, when I went to South Africa it took a whole 30 seconds to complete. Other than that I have had a number of great experiences...When I went to Switzerland to visit my ski lodge I found myself in a town full only German speaking natives. I do not know enough Spanish and English is my primary language. So, I have had GoTranslate since Spring 2015 to communicate with my non English speaking friends who speaks only Spanish . It is so useful to show text info to a friend or to email to them. The speaker can talk for you in person. The reverse feature can help you check accuracy in the communicated info before you send email. I think they are getting better. Great in a debate with Someone. Your non English speaking friends can not fake ignorance: don’t know English to you. I have not had to use the picture translate mode much. I phone can Cut, Paste and Send in text or email. I am sure picture translate it just as good for reading materials. I use other language too and almost every day.

If you’re taking a foreign language class...you already know what to do! Go Translate is practically a “book of cheat codes” to help one get through a language class. I’m in high school and taking a French class, without this useful app - I’m doomed. My mom also used Go Translate to help her ace her French class while she was in college a few years ago. Plus I must say that without GoTranslate....I wouldn’t know as much German I already know right now. I was taking a Rosetta Stone class to learn German, and if it wasn’t for GoTranslate — I wouldn’t know a thing of the language's grammar use. I just looove the fact that I can easily put GoTranslate in split view and just zoom through all the weird looking foreign words and ace! Please download!!! It’s works really great!!

I love Go Translate and use it frequently! My sister-in-law is Italian and I am American. She speaks and writes in English without issue, but most of her family and friends back home don't speak or write in English or feel more comfortable in Italian. Go Translate helps me understand Facebook comments about my sister-in-law or niece that I would otherwise be unable to read/translate (my Italian isn't that advanced). It also allows me to look at foreign websites and translate from the source language into English. My parents enjoy international travel and like to stay in small bed and breakfast type places instead of large multi-national hotel chains. Often these small B&B's website doesn't have an English version, so Go Translate comes to the rescue! I usually know what language I am trans

I have used GoTranslate for a long time now. It has evolved overtime and can only get better! I am always using the Arabic and Spanish. The best part is that you can change the dialect in the languages!! This is HUGE! For example: Spanish from Spain is NOTHING like the Spanish from Peru or Argentina. The same applies to Arabic--the Saudi dialect is nothing like Magrebi , the Moroccan Arabic is much different than Saudi Arabian. I am able to communicate better now because the dialect option is so diverse. The photo translate is great! I highly recommend GoTranslate. The world would be a much better place if everyone could open their minds and learn (or translate) a language in order to speak to someone different from oneself. The sky is the limit, when you are proficient!

I just downloaded GoTranslate to help with my French and all the things on it are so cool. The translations are really accurate and you can write them in, speak then in and take pictures of your page. I had an essay and didn’t get one bit. It translates the words before you even take the picture so you can see the words in your chosen language on the camera!!!! GoTranslate is incredible. You can download languages for free so you can use them wherever. I would strongly recommend getting GoTranslate- so useful and so cool!!!! Even my mum said “that is seriously cool!! I can’t believe it can do that!!!!”

GoTranslate let me communicate with our Uber driver who spoke no English just by speaking in English and it repeated what I said in Italian without pressing any buttons and the driver spoke to me in Italian and it repeated in English with no stopping. The most amazing feature was being able to hold the camera up to a sign a sign and GoTranslate translated the it into English magically before my eyes just like something from a science fiction movie. GoTranslate is amazing!

I use many different languages throughout each day, usually just little phrases here and there in my writing. GoTranslate is indispensable to me as I work, and the translations seem to just get better and better with each update. I’ve read a few of the negative reviews, and while I’m sure the inconveniences described by these folks are real, it also seems they me be expecting a bit too much. GoTranslate is very straightforward in its basic function of translating text that is input by the user. As far as a basic free translation app, this one is far and away the best.

Pretty decent translation app, of course it can't do all the work for you but it does the job. Suggestion: instead of putting the languages at the top in order of most recently used, I think it would be better to change the order to most frequently used. Sometimes I need to translate a phrase into a language that I'll rarely ever have to use and it's frustrating to have to scroll down all through the many languages again to find the ones I use the most in order to knock the rarely used one off the top list.
