Roy s Rewards Reviews

We Investigate the app owner's website (Royrogersrestaurants.com), verify their legitimacy, and uncover hidden scams and complaints.
Your website advertises $10 in free food if you download your app. Since RR just opened in our neighborhood I thought I’ll get RoysRewards and try this new restaurant. Ate there yesterday, haven’t seen $10 or equivalent in points. Also sent a Facebook message over 24 hours ago with no response. Very poor customer service and deceptive advertising!
RoysRewards does what it says on the tin, except to see your points, you have to manually refresh.
Avoid this service. The owners of RR will bait and switch you with what you can do with the rewards:
They will bring out rules, but not notify you as a user/customer, or update their app to reflect it.
“Free combo meal”: but only a certain size.
“Free medium combo meal”: but only certain items we won’t tell you until you have already redeemed the points.
Luckily the scammers at Roys ended up fixing their bug that prevented you from redeeming if you had anything else on your check aside from the items to be redeemed.
Go to Arby’s or something instead.
RoysRewards is very basic. It could use a nice refresh and the ordering process needs to be more user friendly. RoysRewards frequently crashes when I’m trying to order. The pickup methods are also not displayed when ordering. I’ve also had issues with not seeing limited time menu items that I know are available at my location.
Used to be clean and great service. Past few months it has become dirty and food quality is dropping. Today, the floor was sticky, no napkins, no lids for regular drinks, large fries were smaller than regular sized and old. No containers for sauces. I got a lid from the server that didn’t fit, she got another and that one did. The next customer had to ask for a lid and had the same issue. Was it put back in their holder behind the counter not once but twice? The trash cans were over flowing inside but they made sure to gather the trays and ignore the rest. Manger was outside most of the 30 minutes I was there in his phone and vaping. Time to find someplace else for my once a week treat.
Since moving back to Maryland 3 years ago, my wife and I have gone to Roy’s at least once a week. The old app really paid off with great rewards. Since RoysRewards has been updated (or totally new app as advertised) I’ve been to Roy’s three times. Each $20 plus purchase has never shown up on RoysRewards . Yes, I am and was logged in when RoysRewards was scanned at the drivethru. Sad.
RoysRewards often freezes and crashes when I’m at a restaurant ordering and I have to delete it and reload it to get it to work. I often end up just giving my phone number to earn points or cash some in.
RoysRewards Seriously Needs A Wholeee Make Over. Because it Times Out To Much Even After Killing RoysRewards and Bringing It Back Up. Takes to Long To Get To the Next Page. Also I Feel That The Point System Should Be Better Implemented. For Example When You Order Online You Don’t Get Any Points. But When You Order Inside and (hopefully) Remember To Bring Your App Up And Have It Scanned To Catch Points. It’s Kinda a Turn Away From Wanting To Eat
Half the time I try to use RoysRewards in store it doesn’t work. Some of the staff don’t seem to know how to make it work. My last visit I didn’t receive the points sent an email to the store and no one bothered to respond or acknowledge that there may be a problem.
I don’t see a way to save my favorite meals. They should be much easier. I want to make two clicks and order my lunch and be done with it.
And they should allow me to make a single button press when I arrive and ready to use their curbside pick up
I keep losing all my accrued points. I had at least 140 points, Roy Rogers went to a new system and it all went back to zero points. This has happened before. I wasn’t able to use my points and for some reason, all my points got wiped out.
Food is expensive. Not much incentive sent out to customers to get discounts. My points just sit in RoysRewards with no use.
A few technical issues but good for the most part. Occasionally online ordering with RoysRewards is unavailable during business hours. App sometimes logs me out on the way to my nearest Roys (less than a mile). It logs me back in quickly but it’s irritating.
Glad I didn’t link my credit card!
There was a mess up at the drone thru. They had no record of my order. The charges were on my credit card, but they received nothing, of the order, or the payment. I had never used Roy Rodgers App before. So, the Wonderful People at the Restaurant, filled the order, and trusted they will get the money, or on their system somehow. Thanks to the WONDERFUL EMPLOYEES! Not so much the faulty APP!
This is a thurmont Must! Great food but the staff here is what makes it so special
Warm welcome, friendly faces
Love the chicken and build your own fixings and great desert. We have been coming here for over 30 yrs
I just love getting points. I go every week on double points Wednesday and get a family meal! It’s good food. The kids are getting big and strong.
I am so happy to see Roy’s back in the area they closed the one we used to have in Bowie. That was a long time ago.
I mean what can I say? The food is the best. Roast beef to die for....burgers so delicious on those toasted buttered buns........oh Yumm . And Chicken oh so scrumptious. Big Menu and good helpful employees.

The last three times in Store RoysRewards was down and apparently has been down for days. I have free food coming to me but…
The staff is always great and friendly. The food is also always fresh and hot when we go. Overall the best location in the area! Keep up the great work all!
Got my usual roast beef on this visit, was dry not a lot of flavor and had a big piece of gristle I bit into, not sure what’s going on but for what I pay for my meal I would like better tasting sandwich.
