Delivery and app issues but overall good

I’m an actor in Los Angeles that needs rapid Covid tests for being on set. This week I decided to test out this app. (An unfortunate name for an app, but I set my brain for the “80’s Hip Hop definition of “this app” :-) ) Setting the info up was easy. The test itself with the RN live help and the doctor verification was friendly and the negative test was in Sick that I saved off while still on the video call. That is the four stars The star off. THE DELIVERY yes. I understand that the backlog of getting tests to homes is daunting. But sincerely: I could have driven to Kaiser three times and got the test than the five hour wait to have it delivered. When the driver finally got a hold of me he assumed I gave up. I said I was still at my home, and even sent a picture of my porch table he could leave the envelope and ring our doorbell Probably out of embarrassment he left the kit on the porch table and never knocked. I was informed by Sick . So yeah. Better delivery would be good… Sick KEEPS PUTTING ME HERE. Well here I am. I hope maybe it will now stop sending me to Sick Store for an already downloaded app. If this bug issue can be fixed it would be also…A Good Thing. All relatively new services has growing pains. Terrible

I needed testing at home. Thought this would be a good option. Once i received my kit i waited online for the live telemed meeting & literally was stuck in a que for 7hrs!!! Every time i would get close to next i would get bumped back up to #80 I finally got seen for my testing & was told that on their end it was indicating that i was holding in the que for only 30min. I set my tests out as instructed for pickup & they didnt get picked up until very late the next day. Worst then that, i never got a result & have been texting, calling, messaging & trying every means of contacting them to ask where my results are. After 2 days i was forced to search & find a place that had avail last minute testing appointments, pay for a rush test & make it out the house to go test elsewhere with all my children (one of which was this app & couldnt be left alone) & stand in line outside in the cold because the testing site was over crowded & backed up. To date, no one has responded to me & i have no results still 6days later. Unfortunately i paid for this service & as of now, have been ripped off. My tests were registered live in the meeting by the barcode & the vials also had my name, DOB & barcode that is registered on my account & even sent a picture of the vials with the info from the contact number attached to my account. A total inconvenience & waste of money!

Do Not Use This!

Someone recommended me this website so I decided to try it. I make my rapid test appointment everything is good. I try to contact someone via chat because I have a couple of questions and it’s been 24 hours and no one has responded to my questions. But they were able to send me a message telling me about my appointment reminder in the same chat I was asking the questions. I ended up finding a local service near me for a rapid test same day so I decided to take that test. I in Italy didn’t need to use this app. Org anymore so I wanted to cancel. They don’t make it easy for you to cancel the only way is to call. I called and waited 45 min for someone to pick up the phone. Once I was able to talk to someone she told me I can cancel but because I paid already I was not going to get my money refunded. I told her well it doesn’t make sense if I’m cancelling then I should receive my money back and she said “no because you’re choosing to cancel and we charged you already” I was trying to get her to refund me money but it didn’t work so I told her to just leave my appointment for the rapid test as is and I’ll just keep the rapid test for whenever I need it in the future. Horrible service! Seriously do not waste your time and money! Now I’m thinking this is literally a scam because they make it difficult for you to cancel.

Great but needs work

I tried out the this app app a few days ago. I had an appointment for 9-11. I’m not usually an early riser but I wanted my results early. I received a message the day before my appointment saying that the driver may be delayed by minutes or hours. I waited through my appointment time and received my test 2 hours later then my appointment time. I would have liked any other indication of the location of my test or where the driver was. Then once I received my test I had to wait another hour to see the telemedicine doctor. He was very nice and the process was easy but my test results didn’t get picked up til much later. I received my results promptly but they were hours after my original appointment time. I understand that there is a lot of demand right now, I just wish there was a bit more communication on the location of my test.

Also Sick says I have notifications but when I try to look at my messages, it vanishes. Then when asked to submit a review, I was unable to reopen Sick again and it would only direct me to Sick Store.

Overall a good experience but was a lot of waiting around.

Never Again

This seemed like a great opportunity…. It’s 24/7 concierge, deliver to your home. I heard good things from a friend that recommended it but terrible all in all. I tried it multiple times because figured maybe they are just busy, but nope. Never again will I use this service. My first time I needed to get test for a flight. I ordered my kit 2 weeks in advance, appointment day came and met with the doctor. I was told someone would come pick up my finished kit and no one came. I messaged and called and no response. Eventually I got someone and they couldn’t pick it up until the next morning. Almost 24 hours later and the results were not enough. So I need to schedule a rapid test which nearly caused me to miss my flight. Thank God I ended up not needing the 24 hour test to leave the country. Then I tried it again and customer service was poor, the last time was today. I scheduled and appointment because of a Covid scare. I received my kit after they canceled one of my appointments.I rescheduled and then the doctor never picks up. I waited 30 minutes and tried messaging and calling and no response it’s been 12 hours since my scheduled appointment. Will not recommend this to anyone especially if you are need the service.

This will crash and burn in a couple months

It was great at first. Seemed to good to be true. And of course it was exactly that. First 2 visits were great super easy. 3r time they forgot to pick up my test and no one answered the 24/7 support line. I have left many messages no one ever gets back to you. Finally 2 days later someone picked it up. Again same problem only this time no doctor ever appeared for my appointment only 2 days later did they appear. Again no doctor appeared and no one ever picked up my test I had to schedule another appt to have someone pick it up. And they want you to upload a credit card so that they can charge late fees lol!!! BIG RED FLAG. Now I have to pay late fees due to their lack of service???? If it’s due to short staff do us a favor and shut it down until you can properly figure out this system cause you’re just screwing hard working people hoping to keep their job with this bogus mandate. I recommend CVS or Walgreens not this crap that just wants to get you on the fees when it’s their service that causes these issues. Will be taking my business else where. Keep in mind they charge your insurance as well. Check your insurance just in case cause these people are suspect.

Slow, unreachable. Forgetful

I was so excited to learn about this service. I thought we would try it when my son became this app. The test was dropped off. We logged in for our appointment. We waited for 30 minutes then someone came on. We did the test and put it outside our door. The next day the tests were still there. I sat on the phone for over an hour trying to talk to someone. The only way someone spoke with me was by chat. This happened to me several times. We were given a rapid test for my son that was quick. Then we ordered 3 more PCR tests for the whole family. They were dropped off. We waited 2 hours for someone to come on camera for the tests. It took 4 hours for someone to pick them up. Every phone call I made I was on hold for over an hour. No one ever called back from the messages I left. It made the process more frustrating.

Lastly if you go to make an appointment it does not hold onto the info you already submitted. You have to resubmit your id and insurance info. What about kids that have no ID? Why are family members not saved once they are in the system?

Wish this was as easy as it sounded!

Not so convenient

I read the reviews and thought this was the best thing since sliced bread. Boy was I wrong. I had to keep following up on Sick as to when the driver would arrive to drop the test kit. Waited around the whole day and heard nothing, so a big waste of my time as I had things I could’ve been doing. The next day I was told, after I enquired, that another driver would drop by. She was a very lovely lady and arrived around 10am…Great. I followed the instructions and spoke to the doctor and did my swab. Kit was sposed to get picked up, nothing till the next day. It took longer than expected and I had to keep following up with them for updates, frustrating to say the least. But they had very nice agents which made it somewhat bearable.
I booked my test 2days before my international flight and I informed them of this from the very start. I didn’t get my results till after I had checked in for my flight. Thank God I had done a backup test at CVS which came through well before my check in in time. Moral of the story, always have a plan b. Nothing is as it seems in this day and age.

Disappointing

To say I’m disappointed with this service is an understatement. When my Wednesday appointment time arrived, I received a message prior to stating that there would be a delay in delivery by minutes to hours. Understandable due to a high demand. When the test was delivered, it showed a picture of the test kit inside someone’s car outside the gate to my community. The kit never made it to my door. I had to contact them in order for a new test kit to be delivered the next day. The telehealth appointment was quick and easy. Everything from that point went downhill. My test was not picked up on Thursday even after messages and a call. Friday, I was told there was not a driver in my area and not to expect a pickup. Saturday I had to contact customer service by phone again after no response via message. At that time I was told a driver would pick up in 1-2 hours. No pick up occurred. Sunday, I called to inquire about my test and was told that due to the time frame the lab would no longer accept my test. I was offered another test kit to be delivered and expedited, but declined. Instead I accepted a refund. I am extremely let down by this service.

Very disappointed

It started great with having the tests delivered pretty quickly and the tests were done with great help over video chat. Afterwards the tests were outside as agreed but nobody picked them up. Nobody was available by phone, via text message or through the website. Only after leaving a bad review on Facebook someone got back to us. It took over 38 hours just to get the tests picked up. I know that there is a lot of requests happening right now, but for a service, that is charging money for it, I expect more. The free testing services from the local authorities are better.
Also, Sick is not working well. It shows that there are new messages, but when I click on messages, they disappear within a second. Sick asked me to rate it, but I clicked on ‘not now’. Since then, every time I’m in Sick , Sick Store opens automatically after 5 seconds or less even after leaving 1 star. When clicking on help with app, I get forwarded to a website, which is for physicians which work with Sick.
I definitely don’t recommend this service. You are better off with the free services from your local authorities.

Very confusing and very disappointed

I was needing to be tested for Covid but was afraid to do the nasal testing procedure so I saw the this app app and sounded like it was a private and non-painful way to find out if I had gotten Covid my boyfriend tested positive for Covid and is in the hospital and I need to know if I was positive to because I have elderly parents who I spend a lot of time with and I didn’t wanna get them this app so I did as they instructed and I dropped off the test and we’re supposed to test that same day they didn’t I had a test the next day after storm hassle then they finally picked it up and promised me I’d have the test back in 24 hours and here it is going on 72 hour and I still don’t have my results I’m really frustrated because I can’t get any answers from anybody everyone who promises me that they can handle it never follows through and never gets back with me I’m really disappointed and I gave them my ID and my insurance information and my date of birth I sure hope this isn’t a scam and it’s gonna cause me problems because then I will go after them big time very disappointed we’ll see if they were deemed themselves tomorrow

fast results. excellent friendly service

i registred for me and my 2 sons. i work as an actress and bartender. my sons are i school (10 and just turned 17). i thought i’d registered proper only to find out I chose the wrong registration. but our testing guys was amazing. told us how to register proper and we parked aside filled out the proper paperwork/ registration and we’re able to test the same day within about 14 min of us first showing up. we got our rapid results within 30 min and our PCR results were less than 24 hours. i highly recommended this place. and will. e back once a week or as long as we need. maybe i want to keep them a secret so i know we can get in and out with issues and no long lines … however. we will be back. and we trust them. and they took care of us. thank you ✨❤️✨

Not a good experience

I made 4 appointments for my family to get the rapid test. They dropped off the PCR that is the first mistake. We went ahead and did that test. We needsd results back by Friday we did test on Tuesday night. They constantly asked for information over and over to verify birthday’s, Names, Medical info. Then I get a message that they were dropping off 4 more test when they should have been picking up are test. 2nd mistake. The person had change the info to pick up. The next mistake was the worst one I only received my results. All appointments were made under my account. I call in and they send me 2 out of the 3. My Child is not in the system no results. The person on the phone said it got overlapped with my results and wants me to rescheduled the test. They should have it rescheduled and new test dropped off to me and done in same day. the person said no that I have reschedule his test. this is a Major issue and to many mistakes to risk my child not to be able attend an event that he been waiting for which was a birthday gift. My son is 12. I recommend CVS testing over this.

If you are sick do not come here

It’s been a horrible experience for 2 days now with Sick . On top of being terribly this app . I made a appt for the covid test at 8am for 3pm time ….. no one showed up so i called 2 times was on hold for over 30 minutes. Hung up because did I mention I’m this app ! Then got a message from grace at midnight saying she’s sorry she missed our appointment time but I’m able to reschedule so immediately when i saw the message the following morning i replied yes any time again I’m this app and am not leaving the house , didn’t hear back from anyone for two hours and when i did hear back from them they were asking for a copy of my insurance card not to confirm my appointment time , that was at 10 am so after messaging back several times I got a response saying that they had a driver on the way and that they would let me know the eta (that was 7 hours ago) so i called and messaged several times and I’m still waiting for a response and again was on hold for 30 minutes. This is the worse experience to have to deal with especially being this app. Deleting app ASAP.

They are wonderful

I was starting to feel this app and couldn’t get a test anywhere but for a week out. I paid the money for the 24 hour PCR test. They texted me the next day and said the lab was running behind and because they couldn’t keep the commitment to the 24 hour test, they would either refund my money or let me come right over to take an on-site PCR test. I thought that was amazing. I went because I was having symptoms and I did test positive. They have been in constant contact with me by message anytime I write and I think this was a godsend. They are very professional and I was grateful they were available. I understand there are some free PCR tests out there but sometimes you have to wait a week or more to get them; when you’re this app, you need help. Great company.

Needs Some Fine Tuning

The service option is great. It just needs some efficiency tweaking with the delivery/drop off but otherwise it’s great. They actually forgot one of the two tests I ordered and it was hard to get a hold of someone to ask about it. If it weren’t for my friend in another city flagging down one of their drivers in her neighborhood, I would have never gotten through to someone.

Sick itself is a lil sensitive. It always brings me to the Apple App Store when I try to click on the results section. It could also be a lil more organized for storing and tracking results/orders of multiples in your household under the same email address (i.e. Kids). It could also have more instruction on how to order tests for minors who don’t have forms of ID to upload.

It also needs to be clear on what is “clickable” and what isn’t. It just needs some fine tuning and tweaking but otherwise is functional.

Terrible. Just go get tested in-person. It will be faster and save you time.

Scheduling the drop off was fine, though the delivery driver said they did not have key information that I had previously entered when scheduling the drop off. Scheduling the video appointment was fine, but glitchy video. What’s terrible is that this all happened two days ago, but no one has come to pick up the test. I have reached out 7 times now and the only answer I received was that they once again needed key information that I had already entered on Sick . As I was told by the doctor I spoke with over the video chat, I should had expected to receive my results no later than today. I now will have to wait another 1-2 days for my results, and that’s ONLY IF someone responds to my several pick-up requests. And I have these people personal information?? What a joke.

I’m taking this test as a precautionary measure. I can’t imagine what it’s like for people who need this as clearance for work/etc. or who are actually this app. Do not use this service.

Why Would You Go Anywhere Else?

This entire process was awesome! I was skeptical at first giving my info and ID. But I am so glad I did! It was amazing they brought me the Rapid test with a friendly driver and I did the rest via video from the link they sent me with a dr. It was done with less than 10mn! And I am here back on Sick to get my proof of results so I can show whoever needs to see it? I recommend this to anyone who needs it! It's like DoorDash to your home! No waiting periods or dr approval to get a test. They can even mail you a test if you're out of their service area and then log on and do the test with a dr. your convenience. 👏👏👏🙏🏻☦️♥️What a blessing! Now when I go to travel I will be ready and no need to find a location since they come to me!

I would highly recommend this product!

This has been a great service, beats trying to schedule a rapid test at a local pharmacy! I did have trouble being seen in the waiting room, which led me to messaging and calling their help line. After speaking with them the same person helped me and from there is has been great. My test was delivered and I met with a nurse who walked me through the test, we waited 10, they came back, read the test and sent me the results! I will make this my go to for testing as it comes to you and their delivery windows are accurate. They do ask for payment, but this is to make sure you don’t miss the appointment, which I understand. Thanks for this service, it’s this app! All pun intended!!

Bugs Out

Sick keeps sending me to Sick Store so as to download Sick because when scheduling an appointment it does so through the website, which the website works to direct me to download Sick even though I already have Sick ! So I am using Sick , which uses the website to schedule appointments, which sends people to download Sick and so on and it throws me into a cycle that is annoying to deal with. If the function of the website is to direct people to Sick Store, maybe either change that functionality in the website or develop Sick so that you can schedule appointments through Sick only and not the website included. I know it might be easier to use Sick in conjunction with the website, but I would suggest an investment into keeping church and state, website and application, separate.
