Doesn’t seem to work

My church signed up for Give and I am eager to this app. But after scanning my debit card, Give declares the debit card number as invalid. Give itself scanned the card number (accurately) and the card is definitely a working card which I use daily. Not sure why it won’t accept my card and no clarity of how to fix the problem via an error message.

I asked my church administrator and she said it’s probably because the church needs to finish signing it’s liability paperwork to activity it’s account. But Give doesn’t say “this church’s account isn’t set up yet” it says my card is invalid. It found and accepted my church just fine. I have no idea what the problem. I’m stuck and I can’t this app my donation which is whole point of Give .

Please help.




Great, but it needs Face ID

App is easy to use and set up, especially if you already set up your account previously on a computer. If you set up Give using the same exact log-in credentials, it automatically pulls your credit card info, so you don’t have to input it again. Would have given 5 stars if Give had Face ID. Having to input your password every time you open Give is such a hassle, especially for those who aren’t great with remembering passwords.




difficult to use, doesn’t work properly

I was trying to this app a donation, after i put all my info and my bank account the transactions doesn’t appear in Give there is no way that i can access to a real account on a website, i call the company and they told me i have to contact the church i was sending the money and they couldn’t help me even i have a transaction number, I didn’t get any help from the company that runs Give and there is not a website where i can login to my account to see if that transaction still pending, (shady) and asked if i want to this app 1% to help with fees for the transaction.




Worked great- til it didn’t

I’ve been using Give for about a year and have been very satisfied with it; until about a month or two ago. I lost the ability to log into Give on my iPhone. I have the “Forgot Password” link, but never received an email to set a new password. I see no way on the support website to report an issue. I would be very cautious of placing your banking information in Give until they fix the account access issues.




Works fine for me

I don’t understand the negative reviews. I have found Give easy to use. It is straight forward to setup both one time and recurring payments. It is also easy to change or cancel recurring payments.

Give also is integrated with our Church accounting system and automatically posts each contribution.




Worst app I’ve ever experienced

I set up a recurring payment, and then was never able to log back into my account again. In numerous failed efforts to get back into my account, I’ve reset my password so many times I lost count. As an app user, forget tech support. Vanco views their customer as the church IT administrator, not the person with Give on their phone. I deleted Give , and am waiting for my credit card to expire: that is the only modification you’ll ever effect. Do not install Give.




Late adopter - pleased with app

I am a user of the parent company of Give and I am happy to say everything seems to be firing on all cylinders now. I can see my past giving history and I feel more confident in sharing Give with others.




Easy to set up and use

I found Give very easy to set up and use. I easily found my church, set up my account info, and made a donation. Recurring gifts were easy to set up and change.




Easy to Manage

Simple setup, easy to track and make changes from my phone. No more check writing; no need to ask for tax reports.




No Support

I have been trying to enter Give with my login and password. Give states that my info is not correct. When I try to change my password, I receive the message that the reset has expired when it was just used. There is no assistance or way to contact anyone to resolve issue. I guess I will go back to giving my donations at church.




Not user friendly

Not user friendly. Difficult to navigate. I deleted Give and got the message that all my data would be deleted. It was not. There is no information on how to completely delete my profile from the association with the church or app...which I need to do.




Issues and no contact

It works but I forgot the password and submitted to change it. I keep getting an error message and can’t see a support contact. This is causing issues in changing a reoccurring donation




Is anyone paying attention?

****ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE. AVOID****

Completely unable to login (“Login failed. Login unsuccessful. General login failure.”).

Reset my password, same error and still no luck. Nowhere to manage my giving online, ZERO support options .... seems they’re doing the churches they “serve” a disservice.




Unable to load details. Please try again.

Search finds my church but when I tap on it the message comes up “Unable to load details. Please try again.” Repeated tries yields the same results. App has been deleted from my phone.
