RideMETRO does not work to pay for a ticket. I get to the final screen where it says “Buy Ticket”. Clicked button, nothing happens. I tried to do it through the website, website told me to use app. Tried app again, doesn’t work. I wish I would have known it wasn’t going to work before I got to the stop. Very disappointing and a huge waste of my time

Inaccurate information given about Park & Ride routes. Waited at specified bus stop for over 30 minutes (#631 from 8:50 am until 9:24 am). Finally a bus driver stopped and gave me advise on how to return to my Park & Ride because the route service won't even drive by #631 again until mid afternoon. So I went back to the stop I came in on (#619) and got on the bus I needed. RideMETRO cost me hours!!!! Of time. This kind of error is completely unwarranted and makes RideMETRO Useless for anyone "not already in the know".

1. I tried the plan your trip. Chose Cypress Park and Ride to downtown transit center on Wednesday March 15, 2023, arrival at 7:30 am and it told me to drive 39 minutes to Eastwood Park and Ride and Wall 1 h 11 m to my stop. That was the only option provided.
2. So I tried to view schedules:
I get a menu asking me what bus I will be riding. No map. No route. Just a list of bus numbers. So, i had to find my bus number somewhere else.
Ok…
So I figured out i’m the 217 park and ride. I click my day and direction. And click schedule. I get a list of times. It doesn’t say departure time, but that is presumably what it is. And it doesn’t provide arrival times.
I never found an arrival time. I stopped looking.
So questions
1. Why does the planner fail to show a basic heavily-used route on the schedule?
2. Why doesn’t the option schedule offer a link to a schedule table?
Anyway, this didn’t work for me. I’m not going to spend endless (and frustrating) time trying to understand it to make it work for me. I still don’t know the schedules. And I think I better drive.

Why waste your time on 1 app when you can waste triple the time on 3 to get even less done? If you attempt to use RideMETRO you will be directed to download another app. And then another. Crazy idea but try making one app that’s easy to use (!), allows someone unfamiliar with the Metro transit system to find what they’re looking for ( 😱), and then pay for their tickets.
It’s as if the Amazon app showed you their inventory but that was it. If you wanted more information you’d have to already know the UPC code for the item (oh but you’d need another app for that). Then if you wanted to buy the thing you’d have to download another app.

RideMETRO crashes and closes when you press the blue button on “where’s my bus”

Pretty useless. Can’t even see tomorrow’s schedule. I don’t know what you can do with RideMETRO…

RideMETRO is just as bad as the Houston drivers. It gives inaccurate stop times and there are no live updates. If you don’t know your way around Houston because you aren’t originally from here, RideMETRO won’t help you any.

Honestly, they should just take the money they’re paying to Metro and burn it, at least then it would provide warmth.

One app for everything, it’s how every other major city with public transit does it. Get it together Houston Metro.

RideMETRO mainly serves as a directory to other apps. Rather than provide information directly, it requires you to open the Q Mobile Ticket App, The TRIP App, the twitter app, or the safari app to get any meaningful information. In addition, the schedules included in RideMETRO are just pdf links. If you have all these apps and are looking for one place to access them, this may be helpful to you. Otherwise, it feels kind of useless

When will the new PDF schedules get uploaded?
