Absolutely abhorrent

Despite all of the accolades to this “new programme”, it is a disaster from the first email trying to set it up and login. After finally able to login, everything that was supposedly going to be transferred (cumulated visits, hotel points, etc.) has not at this point. Over functionality of Unity is basically an electronic rubbish heap. Outside of the visual appeal (the only reason rated as a 1⭐️, and no option for 0),it is overall underwhelming overrated. Though the HR Rewards app was in definite need of improvement, it was at least something to build upon, not needing to reinvent the wheel. If it was not ready for release, why even bother releasing it?

a terrible app & program- AND my tier & rewards seem at risk

Unity AND this thing called "this app" appear amateurish. Unity is unwieldy. easy and clear use by a new user was not a high priority for Unity. upon entering Unity using my account number, it has my profile information but no tier or rewards data from my Rock Royalty account. so, am i in or out?! do i have Icon tier or not? (my 17,000+ points or not? my $500+ comp points or not?). overall, it's a confusing and inept roll out of a "new" program that is of little or no value to anyone unless they travel the world.

Improving

Much better than the old app which was really just the an app version of the website.

Hope to see precious locations visited added soon as that’s usually the only reason why I would check Unity here and there. Haven’t had a chance to have the rewards “scanned” yet but I’ll see how that goes next visit.

Visit list

Still do not see a visit list. I would be very upset if my visit list from Hard Rock Rewards didn't transfer over. This happened before when HR changed from one program to the Hard Rock Rewards and I lost about 10 visits

Love the fact that there is an APP!!! Hated having to go online to view points rewards etc.. so far the updates on points etc are fast and accurate loving it

Looks interesting, needs fixes

There does not appear to be a way to input the Purchase Codes from receipts. The staff at the cafe location was unable to get it credited to my account also. So, the program isn’t worth much if no one can enable a way to earns points. The old program was better.

Apparently this wasn’t suppose to go live until mid July

Why have us update from the original app if this was the case? I tried to “activate” my account but apparently it it just creates a new one for you. I asked customer service and was told I needed to go into one of your locations to have the accounts merged. Went from Icon to Star because of this.

But needs help. Functionality needs work. If I’m using FaceID to login it shouldn’t keep logging me out of Unity . Definitely needs to issue an update soon otherwise I’ll use the old app.

Absolutely nonfunctional

Unity has changed the way I perceive Hardrock. I have been a Seminole Hardrock member for years but how can you not have an app that functions and then more over leave it non functioning for weeks ☹️it should be embarrassing to Hardrock and unacceptable at every level. Get it together Hardrock!! Not sure this merger is helping the Seminole tribe.

What good is it if you can’t login?

Whoever tested Unity before making it available did not do a very good job! It’s useless for me since I cannot even login. I have the latest OS on my iPhone so it should work fine, right?

Needs a TON of work! Removed app until they get their act together and someone does a thorough QA.

Terrible App

This is the worst app. I don't see nothing and alot less offers than before. I was hoping this app was better but it does not show much at all. I am so disappointed in Hardrock it use to be so much fun going and winning, not losing all your points, comps.

cannot get app to work , have been to casino desk and called app 4x each . Each with a 30 minute convo that leads no nothing ” We will pass it to (I.T.) and will know in 48 hours . Never hear back …. Terrible app / terrible customer service

Take your hotel dollars elsewhere.. every time I’ve spent in the London location and elsewhere the “points” don’t ever appear and they leave it to you to spend 2 to 3 hours of your day being a hawk.. it’s typical.. choose Marriott or Hilton. Way Better

Can’t ever get on site. Spins and spins. Then I clicked on and was told to update since the enhanced the site. I clicked up date opened to get to site. NOTHING changed!! Spins and spins. I miss free play, gifts etc. horrible site.

Unhappy app user

Since my account was switched from the Seminole wild card to the this app card, Unity never opens the way it supposed to. It always starts out with finish your online account set up. I already have an established account set up. I did over the phone, so even if I put in my information, the feedback shows you already have an account. Why can’t Unity just open and let me login and go right to my account, I even upgraded my phone from an iPhone 12 pro-max to the iPhone 14 pro-max. So I went to my app to login and it was exactly the same as my previous phone. I also deleted Unity and reinstalled it thinking that might solve the problem but no it has not. :(

Booking a room is impossible.

I have been trying for three days now to book a room on Unity and it’s madness, and untenable. I gave it three days of trying because maybe it was me. No, it’s the godawful app. I wanted a room for tomorrow night. I know they give you an 800 number to call if your having technical difficulties, but I was trying to work through Unity because that’s what it’s for, one stop shopping. Another thing, I placed the Tampa Hard Rock as my preferred destination and every single time I open my this app App it takes me to the Hard Rock in NYC. Me and my wife are still going to the Tampa Hard Rock on Sunday but we are staying somewhere else. Unity is beyond aggravating.

Free play

I live an hour and a half from hard rock in Hollywood. I drove all the way down there because Unity said that I had $70 in FreePlay now I know it takes 24 to 48 hours to update however it was way longer than that and if you look through my transactions, you will not see where the $70 was played. So I drove an hour and a half to get no free play!Needless to say, I was not very happy, because as you can tell, I am a pretty, consistent, high gambler, and no one could help me with this issue.

Staff

I fell when retrieving a ticket from a roulette machine at Tampa Hard Rock and staff were everywhere helping me. They filled out a report, and told me don’t hesitate if anything happened if I heard anywhere to let them know, asked me if I wanted to go to the nurse, it couldn’t have been more caring concerned experience, which took the humiliation of falling off that chair away. Although, I must admit the tickets were way too low to retrieve, and now they have placed them up higher. Thank you and God bless Lauren Waterman.

Buffet

I love the hard rock at Tampa. I’m hoping that you will please bring the buffet back. We are getting tired of eating at the same places all the time. The buffet gives everyone a very large variety to choose from , and everyone is happy.
At the cafe, it takes too long to wait for our meal.

Awful

After being badgered for months to switch accounts, I finally sat down to start the process. I thought it was me…I’m not tech savvy…but I read thru all instructions and followed them specifically. Nope! Horrible web site and horrible app. I’m currently in an eternal loop of trying to reset my password. I’ve been sent a dozen emails to reset my password but it takes to a site that’s undergoing ‘maintenance.’ This is for the website and app. This is beyond aggravating for a membership for HRC pins only. Run, run as fast as you can away from Unity and site. Not worth it!

Unity is great and the costumer service is wonderful, too bad the employees at the casino are rude & blew me off when I asked them to . Crazy confusing app

This new app is so frustrating and confusing and should offer a tutorial in how to access specific information. The selected defaults options sometime become viewable but most of the time all I see is ransom pages of info I didn’t request to view. I could go on and on how horrible and stressful Unity us in lacking flow and simple usability, but see for yourself. WildCard site was far superior in ease of use than this app App. Good luck….

Unity is very easy to use which is great.
The only drawbacks are a lot of times Unity states check back later for status and I wish that once free money is spent that it comes right off account not stay there it gets very confusing to filter through what I spent by date.

Every other day Unity crashes every time I try to sign on after the first initial sign on him when signing on Unity just spins and never really log into the actual account so I have to remove Unity off my phone and then put it back on my phone again and it’ll work for a couple days and then it will do the exact same thing

The Worst App Ever

The old program was awesome. This this app program and app is the worst reward app ever. I’ve been calling monthly since the beginning of August to get my Wild Card and Rewards cards transferred to this new program and no one can do it. So disappointing. The rewards made the ridiculously high Hard Rock Cafe prices tolerable. Without the rewards it good by Hard Rock Cafe as a dining choice. HRC - look at your this app Cards awful reviews and do something to correct this.

I have absolutely enjoyed Everytime we have been at Hard Rock. Have eaten at the buffet the crab & lobster was amazing. Have enjoyed they events there saw Smokey Robinson and a few others. Looking forward to the Temptations and the Commadors so excited to be there again soon.

Dashboard loading

Unity was great for quick reference initially but for the past week or so the dashboard just sits on loading. Every other aspect operates fine aside from that. Not sure what the issue is but every time I navigate to the dashboard it just sits loading…been that way for at least 4 days now. I’d otherwise give it 5 stars but this is a basic function. Another recommendation would be to remove free play that’s been used already. Just a suggestion. The non-loading of the dashboard though is an actual problem though.

The features are clear and informative only lacking area is in live customer service. I would like to be able to interact with a live concierge person who can see my play history and be able to assist with providing free play or talk about upcoming events and be able to secure tickets. If you can provide that level of support I will brag about it to others. If not no point to bring up.

Customer service tops other casinos especially Jolie and Eddie and Eric in slot service.
The bathrooms are impeccably clean which I appreciate immensely and are not that way in other casinos .

Great Times

For starters they gave me a discount rate for a overnight stay which was a very nice room. I went there with my father-in-law and I to celebrate our birthdays. We had a great time and enjoyed playing all different games and slot machines. We will definitely come back. It’s a place to go to to have a real good time. To relax, have fun.,& really enjoy yourself, playing their many slot, machines, and table games. There is something for everyone. Thanks and hope to come back real soon.

Casino With Great Amenities

The HardRock Casino in Gary, In, has the most hospitable service I have had at any casino I have been to. Nora was very helpful and answered all my questions. They have many food options, from Asian flare to America fare at the HardRock Cafe. The Rewards card has better benefits and rewards perks than any other casino I’ve been to. The $20 in free play won we $50 in real money. I will be visiting this casino and other HardRock in the future. Consider me a Member

Why don’t I have offers.

I’ve been going everyday for almost a year. Spending my check every week and you’ve completely cut me off. I followed the link but it wouldn’t let me check in without joining the this app club. I did it.
It still wouldn’t let me check in, so I downloaded the this app app.
It still won’t let me check in.

Happy, but could use improvement!

I’ve had good luck at the Hard Rock one time. I left my wallet on a machine and I called and immediately they told me they had my wallet. They’re very helpful and courteous. Every time I’ve gone there. My only problem has been receiving a card offering me free rooms and then when I call they don’t have any rooms available for months. I would appreciate if somebody could look into it and possibly give me a night night or two a free stay so I can play the games. Thank you.

Can’t ever win in this place.

Come here often with different friends. For some reason always go home loosing with the money I come with and then some.
Then I find out that one of my friend that hardly comes here to play gets a free cruise. His a Star and am a Legend. I just can’t figure it out. How does that works. I come here about 5 times a year sometimes more, spend money and don’t win. I don’t even get a break on getting a certificate for a free cruise. What do I have to do to be able to qualified. I guess I have to stop coming here all together.

Security

I like to come early in the am but I don’t feel safe in the parking lot and especially while waiting for an elevator. Even the doors don’t close quickly when the button is pressed and it would allow someone to jump in. Not a good feeling when I’m the only woman in there. Any crook knows that everyone coming to the casino is coming with cash.

Customer service missing Unity points

Not a review just trying to find out how to contact your customer service , since the points I should have earned eating at Hard Rock Cafe in ac have not been credited to my account. Waiter said it should take 2 or 3 days. Its been a week today. Thank you

The worst promotion Hard Rock has ever come up with I see no advantage to this program at all My account hasn't worked from day one to no end in sight ,I get told by Unity to go to the Players club waited in line several times around 12 to be exact to be told I have to contact Unity they had me call Unity while standing. I hate being a you know what but they say something is missing every single time now my zip code isnt there .. there and every time I'm assured in 24 Hrs. my account will be all set ?? I've lost time and a lot of money believing in what I am getting told they honestly took all the fun out of going to the Hard Rock in Tampa which could take me up to a hour and a half to get there depending on traffic.. Seems like they really don't know what to do about a account that hasn't worked since they switched over to this nightmare

The new Unity program is highly disappointing for its rewards - which are 1/4 of what they used to be. The human element has been removed where hosts used to be able to call shots on rewards, creating a long-lasting incentive to come back again and more often, especially after a loss. Now it’s a computer. After a weekend of big losses over $1000*+ a host could at least give a $50 or $100 dinner. It showed acknowledgement and appreciation. People go to casinos for the experience, and the experience has gone cold and colder at the Hard Rock.
