If you are wanting to lose your patience and at the same time starve to death, then this is the delivery service for you. First off, there is no way to contact this company or service if you want a refund. The food will take a minimum of 1 hour to get to you if you are lucky. Next, forget about showing up to the place to grab your food after they have not delivered because the restaurants will not let you have your food even if you show proof because they have not been credited, the delivery service takes the money prior to paying the restaurants. Also, you will not get your money back unless you go thru your bank or credit card company to dispute a charge, even if your food never shows up you are still charged by this delivery service. If the driver happens to show up your food is cold and no longer good. I thought maybe the 1st time it might be because of technical issues, however, happening again and to the point where we come home and there’s food sitting outside for who knows how long, unacceptable. No wonder why they call themselves Hungry Panda because by the time it gets to you you’re so angry that your food is spoiled and your money is gone.

Despite the fact that I was given different food from what the restaurant have on their menu, the customer service is terrible!
I contacted the customer service cause I received different product from what I ordered. I waited in line for my turn for 2 hours. When it is my turn, the customer service representative did not respond. I kept asking “hello?” “Anyone gonna answer?”, but no one responded until 21 minutes later. Ever since, it kept taking them more than 20 minutes to respond. I asked for full refund cause more than half of my item is wrong, but all they say is “we are sorry, and we will give the feedback to the restaurant.” Then, nothing comes back ever again!!!!! But they do have the time to take down the wrong photos for the products on the restaurant’s page.
Terrible customer service and terrible restaurant.
I won’t use HungryPanda熊猫外卖 ever again.

I’ve used so many different food delivery apps and this is the worst. So usually for ubereats or grub hubs or even postmates, they will let you know how long your food will be delivered with an ACCURATE ESTIMATE DELIVERY TIME and you can tell when your food is ready and easily track the driver’s location. However, for hungry panda the estimate delivery time is just there for NOTHING because it’s not accurate at all at first it told me that it will be delivered within 30mins and then later it expands to 50 mins and in the end I received my order 2 hours later. Good thing about hungry panda is that it offers Chinese foods that a lot other apps doesn’t has but it’s not worth the wait. Ordered 2 bubble teas because I’m craving for it but received it 2 hours later and it spilled. My experience with Hungry Panda is really unprofessional and slow.

I like the concept for HungryPanda熊猫外卖 . This review is for their service and being misleading on their monthly membership. I purchased the membership under the impression that it would reduce the delivery fee. But it didn’t say it only applies to near-areas delivery. Almost all my orders are cross-city delivery (which is not included in this monthly membership). When I reached out to the customer service 2mins after my shocking realization, all I got from them is that they can’t process any sort of refund and they can’t help me. I would have just gone ahead and enjoyed the membership if there are options near my house. But there are only 2 restaurants that’s in my city, which means the membership is useless to me. I’m very disappointed in the service and how they handled the situation.

I'm sure 90% of the five star reviews are FAKE. HungryPanda熊猫外卖 cooperates with many authentic Chinese restaurants so I give it a star for the wide range of restaurant choices. But that's the end of all good things. Here're some of my experiences: My food never arrived within the time windows I selected. For 3 out of 5 times, my food arrived after over 90 minutes even though I selected "ASAP. " There's no live support in HungryPanda熊猫外卖 . Customer service repondes too slowly and incompetently. I don't feel like they care about their customers, they don't even use the word "thank you" or "sorry", not even respond to my "thank you"s. Their order distribution system is the worst I've ever seen. For at least four times my orders were assigned to drivers who were 15 miles away from the restaurants. Also some drivers/restaurant have been modifying the order status and driver locations in order to trick customers, and the company allows it to happen. Here's something I want to say to the company: You're lucky because your industry is benefiting a great deal from a disaster for all humans, the least thing you can do is to show some respect and care, and you're not doing it.

I have been using HungryPanda熊猫外卖 for two years and finally decided to delete it permanently. There are TERRIBLE issues that the Company continues to ignore: 1) delivery persons NEVER delivers food to the apartment, no matter how much you tip or how explicitly you request them to do so. They always lie and blame your doorman for not being able to go upstairs. There have been instances where the delivery person solicits cash tip.
2) the Company never gets rid of a poorly performing delivery person due to bad rating or reporting of misbehavior. I have personally encountered several bad delivery persons who yell at me, lie about arriving time, and stole my food (HungryPanda熊猫外卖 refuses to give a full refund in this case). These people continues to work there several months after I’v reported them.

Seriously, as a consumer you deserve something more “normal” than this.

I have tried Uber Eats, Door Dash and Hungry Panda. I have used these apps for more than 100 times so I have a good sense how they compare.

Hungry Panda of all three, with its Chinese specialty, has the worst search functionality - it cannot even search by cuisine; overall very limited choices of filters or search attributes.

However what bothers me most is Hungry Panda’s inability to tell me where the food is, or when it would arrive. Of one of my orders, I was first told that the food would arrive in 25 minutes (how great), then changed to 45 minutes; at 45 minutes mark I got a message that said it was delivered (of course, it was not). I called the carrier; he had no clue. I then called customer service who said the driver was reassigned because of bad traffic... well, all this time my order was shown as completed. In the end my order arrived in 1 hour 20 minutes with the food soggy after more than 1 hour in waiting and transit.

Of all this time, I was not able to track either the food or carrier (no real time location). I found that a big logistic problem. While Uber Eats and Door Dash were not perfect either (I’d rate them 3 stars), you at least have an accurate idea where your food is... this is not acceptable for food delivery.

I’ve been using all kind of food delivery app and I’ve never experienced this much disappointment. I made an order at 7 pm and currently it is 9 pm and I have still not received my order. The delivery person have been on the same location for two straight HOURS. You would have thought you can contact the driver/delivery person but no HungryPanda熊猫外卖 DOES NOT provide anything. There is no place to leave message, no number, and not even a name. I tried to contact the costumer service and was told they can only reach certain departments and can not directly contact the driver. The costumer service did nothing but told me they are working on it. And since it’s already late the restaurant is closing so I received a call but I guess this is what you call a trashy app. I am so curious how HungryPanda熊猫外卖 work. How can a app not be able to reach its employees?

I hate HungryPanda熊猫外卖. I know hate is a very strong emotion but I do hate it. Deliveries take at least an hour. They send one driver to deliver multiple deliveries and the routes are not optimized. And the worst thing is you will not get compensated for it. I kept going back to HungryPanda熊猫外卖 because they offer a good range of Chinese restaurants, and I kept having false hopes that maybe this time will be faster. But no, it doesn’t get better. I ordered my food 90 minutes ago and it’s still not here. And I ordered Tasty Pot, which is Taiwanese hot pot. The food was ready an hour ago and the delivery is still not here. Why would I spend all this money for food that is gonna be soggy and cold? I don’t get where all the 5 stars came from but they must be bots. I’m not the only one having bad experiences. Literally everyone I know are experiencing the same issues. Ugh I hate HungryPanda熊猫外卖

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST takeout app you could ever you DO NOT trust them despite all their advertisements. Not a lot of options in the first place. I ordered a couple of times, each time convincing myself to try again. EVERY SINGLE TIME they let me down. Don’t say delivery time is 50 minutes and you’re gonna take 2.5 hours. NEVER TRUST THE TIME. Food comes cold every time, customer service never replies and refund process is basically NONEXISTENT. on top of that HungryPanda熊猫外卖 has HORRIBLE UX AND UI. Ordering is a chaos. Delivery partners also have HORRIBLE ATTITUDES when you try to contact them cuz your order from two hours ago is at the opposite side of the town. 不要相信微信和ins上的廣告！真的沒有用過更爛的外賣軟件。騎手根本不care你的訂單，打電話態度超差愛理不理。一次app上寫50分鐘送達的訂單2個小時了 看app上地圖騎手根本不在餐廳到我這裡的路上，在拼命繞路不知道去哪裡。還有一次餐廳出餐了1geduoxiaoshi都沒有人去取餐，換了三四次騎手繞了不知道多少次路採取到，又是兩個小時以上才收到本該35分鐘到的食品，完全冷掉了根本吃不了。能給零分我就給零分了。客服完全useless別想讓他們退款了。沒見過更差的了。

I was really hungry, and search for the fastest delivery. The est delivery time was 15 mins. I waited 1 hour and the food is yet to come. I spend another 30 mins just to wait to connect to a customer service representative to cancel my order. And you know what? The rep refused my request for cancellation, because the food was made. It’s not my problem for your technical difficulties. For sure, the food is made an hour ago, and waiting there for an hour for someone to deliver. I paid for my service, I expected my food to be delivered in 30 mins. Yet, they refused refund, and expect me to accept that cold saggy noodle delivered. I had to contact the deliveryman myself, to tell him not to deliver my food. And the rep finally accepted my refund request, after I called the deliveryman myself and told the rep that I will contact the bank for a dispute. I don’t blame the deliveryman. But this application is HONESTLY the WORST DELIVERY APPLICATION that I’ve EVER USED. Customer service IS TERRIBLE, simply equal to never exist.

I used HungryPanda熊猫外卖 for a couple of months since the pandemic and had fairly good experience in the beginning. There is a wide variety of Chinese restaurants that are not available on other apps, which brings me great options. However, after a long time use, I don’t bother to order from HungryPanda for the following reasons: 1. It takes forever to get my food and my food barely arrives in the time window selected. 2. Delivery people NEVER finish their job! They ask me to come downstairs instead of delivering my food to door! They make up ridiculous excuses such as “parking is not allowed” even though they are not driving at all. There was a time when I was not able to pick up a call, the delivery person took my food back and I was charged for an additional delivery fee to get my food, which is even more ridiculous. I am never asked to come down / show up for delivery with other delivery services.

Scam!! I originally downloaded and used HungryPanda熊猫外卖 from seeing the ads and saw that there was a $5 welcome coupon, so thought to give it a try, applied the coupon when I check out, and it was “successfully” applied to the amount, but then when I review my order after checked out I found the amount was incorrect, (the $5 wasn’t deducted) so I contacted the customer service, first of all it takes at least two minute for each responses, and not to mention the person just keep repeating the same thing saying it wasn’t applied, I mentioned it could be a glitch or bug because I clearly applied the coupon and saw it was applied then I checked out, and after 20mintutes trying to communicate and let them know about the problem, she didn’t care but just end the conversation with “sorry can’t help you” . Offloading HungryPanda熊猫外卖 now, and will not recommend this to anyone, I never leave any comments with apps , but this is the worst!!!!!

THE FIVE STARS ARE FAKE! Those comments are all same!

I normally don’t give any bad reviews to any app, but Hungry Panda made me must leave one. Today we ordered some food at 5:48pm for our dinner, and the driver arrived at the restaurant around 7:15pm. The driver picked our food(probably is already cold) and he started delivering. We saw he went from 13 km away to 4 km away and then suddenly, he started going the opposite way and stayed 13 km away for more than 30 mins. We called the driver, but he literally doesn’t speak any other language beside Cantonese. We can’t even communicate. Later we contact customer service, and they said something like we will tell the driver to deliver your order faster, and they just stopped replying no matter what we sent to them. We don’t want the order anymore cause it has been already 3 hours since we ordered the food, we said so to the customer service but still no any response. This is literally the worst food ordering I’ve ever had. Never use this anymore!

So this is my first time trying HungryPanda熊猫外卖, and honestly this will be my last time as well. I know they are busy and I understand, but having me waited 2 hours for my order and delivered me the completely wrong thing???fine, then do something to fix it right ? No, so the delivery guy left without saying that he or someone else will bring me my order. I contacted the store, the girl in the store told me that she has nothing to do with the order anymore and it’s delivery guys fault to deliver the wrong order. Fine, so I told her to just cancel my order because it’s been 2 hours and I don’t think my bubble tea is going to taste any good after maybe 3 hours. Then she told me she cannot cancel it, nor can she call the delivery people to redeliver my order, I basically have to call the panda app to talk to the customer service and ask them to call delivery guy to resend the order, and yes they cannot cancel the order it either .... this whole thing is just ridiculous...
so whoever is thinking about ordering from HungryPanda熊猫外卖, please reconsider !!!!

我通过熊猫点了刘铜锣烧烤，备注清晰的说明了一些食物不加辣。送过来之后发现所有的食物都加了辣，于是给熊猫打电话要求A不加辣的食物退款，或者B，30分钟之内再送一次。之后刘铜锣的人和熊猫分别打电话给我，确认可以重做，45分钟送到，但反复要求我退还之前的食物！疫情期间，退还食物，我无语啊。而且我已经说了食物盒已经打开了（打开才看到有辣的）。熊猫的人反复说这是常规操作！常规操作！所以，你在这个平台点的食物有可能是别人退回去的，当然也有可能不是。但平台上的餐厅和配送员是一定接触过客户退回去的食物的。他们也从没问过我的健康情况。呵呵。

I ordered from HungryPanda熊猫外卖 and listed my requirements of not adding spices to some items, very clearly! Food was delivered 1.5 hours later, full of spicy sauce! So I called and asked for one of the two things - refund of the items I listed or redeliver within 30 mins. The restaurant said they could redeliver in 45 mins, and ask me to return the items that are not supposed to be spicy. SERIOUSLY? During pandemic, a restaurant is asking unknown customer to return food. Later the customer rep from Panda called me and said again that I need to return the food and said it’s their common practice. Common practice to return food back to restaurant. I told them I already opened the box and that’s how I can tell it’s full of spicy sauce. And yet, they still ask for the return of food. I lost all my trust in their service. If you are concerned about your health, stay away from this service.

I made an order on HungryPanda熊猫外卖 in the evening. HungryPanda熊猫外卖 told me my order will arrive in one hour. I waited for two hours and the order didn’t arrive. I called customer service but their line is always busy.
I managed to have real time chat with customer support in HungryPanda熊猫外卖 . They told me that particular store I ordered from has a policy that order made after 5pm will be delivered the next day. But that policy is written no where in my order. In HungryPanda熊猫外卖 it is still showing that I will receive my order in the same day. Apparently this “policy” is written in a very non obvious place of that store in HungryPanda熊猫外卖 . But again, in my order window it is showing my order will be picked up and delivered in the same day I ordered it.
So I asked for a refund. And they refuse. I asked them when will I receive my order the next day so that I can be ready? They have no idea. So how do I plan my day tomorrow? Stay home all day to wait for food i wanted the day before?!? Do I need to wake up at 6am to take my food so they don’t won’t be left outside my house all day?

When I first time download HungryPanda熊猫外卖 , I used it to place an order, and there are vouchers show up with discount, so I bought five vouchers at that time. Then I found that I just could use a vouchers for one order, at the same time, the vouchers will be expired within a month. Well, it seems to push me to place five vouchers within a month for using these vouchers.
Also, some restaurants on HungryPanda熊猫外卖 are not allow you to pick up yourself. Thus, even though you get coupons with big discounts, you still need to pay the delivery fee, at least 10% tips, which may equal or more than discount you get.
To sum up, there are 2 advices for people who want to use HungryPanda熊猫外卖 :
1. If you like to pick up order yourself, you have to take careful to see the options provided on every stores on HungryPanda熊猫外卖 to know if you can pickup yourself.
2. When you find there are vouchers with discount for sell, you have to look for the details about the vouchers to see what is the rule for using vouchers. The vouchers are not allowed to return, and the vouchers are quick to expired. Be careful to fall into the trap！

I was ordering dinner at noon and accidentally selected to have it delivered ASAP. I realized it immediately and contacted the customer service to have them cancel it(because there’s literally no option to cancel an order on my side). They assigned a driver to this order first, then replied that they’re not able to cancel because a driver is already on his way. I was shocked and let the driver know that it was a mistake and that he doesn’t need to go pick up my order and the driver was fine with it. The customer service then claimed that they will have to “check with the restaurants” before canceling my order. It’s been half an hour. I’m still waiting for a reply. I simply don’t understand why cancel an order within 2min of placing it is so difficult. I will not use this product again and I will recommend my friends to avoid it. Food delivery is a red ocean industry, a company wont survive with this kind of service.

Hungry Panda has great access to Chinese restaurants, which users do appreciate, but its service is really bad.

The first time I used it, I had to call the restaurant to confirm if my order would be accepted, as it was pending in HungryPanda熊猫外卖 for more than 20 mins.

The second time I used it, the delivery guys was 3.7km away from my address, but suddenly the status was changed to “order delivered”. I called the delivery guy twice but no answer. I messaged Hungry Panda more than five times, but no reply. I had to ask my credit card company to dispute the transaction...

Understand that things are in chaos during covi-19, but there are companies doing it well. For example, RicePo: When the item I ordered was out of stock, the restaurant called me and asked whether I’d like to switch to another one or just cancel this item. Not even until I finished talking to them, the customer support called me asking me if the issue has been solved successfully and if I need any other help. Such a big difference!!

I would recommend RicePo more! Btw, I’m not anyone paid by RicePo, but a real user. I’m posting here to let other users know the real experience. In addition, I hope to hear from Hungry Panda, as I still haven’t heard back from anyone after asking your customer representative five times...

It used to be decent. But recently the delivery speed was so slow. I made two orders on HungryPanda熊猫外卖 this week, and my food was delivered after 2.5 hrs and 3 hrs, when the food was completely cold. Customer service is bad. They can only tell you the problem, such as they couldn’t connect the driver, but they won’t provide any solutions to fix it. If you suggest something, they completely ignore you. HungryPanda熊猫外卖 is rubbish. No chance for you any more!

The eta was never accurate. It took the driver over 40min to just pick up my order from the restaurant, and the drivers usually stops at other places for ridiculously long for whatever reason they had. They don’t deliver to door, making up reasons like they are not allowed in the living complex, which is always open!! Not recommended.

HungryPanda熊猫外卖 does not even qualify for 1 star. I ordered food at 1:36PM. The restaurant called me at 2:36PM and said my order would be delayed due to system problem. Until now 3:36PM, i still do not receive my order. I called the restaurant. The guy said my order was ready long time, but no driver came to pick up until this moment 3:36PM. Never ever have extremely bad service such like this.

Look at the names of people who gave the reviews, they are mostly fake names and misspelling. Looks to be paid reviews. I ordered food, the driver haven’t delivered and it have been over 6 hours and customer services keeps sending me automated message and closing ticket. They are also saying if I want redeliver I need to pay again. There is no way to get your money back!

Ridiculous. I ordered at 6:38pm today and it is 9 already I still get nothing. I called the driver and he said he is the only person who’s responsible for this area. He is the one who make decisions to deliver first. Apparently app didn’t provide any algorithm to optimize the orders. They probably don’t have enough drivers and don’t have the ability to handle costumers at all.

No customer service at all.

I read the reviews and many of them saying it will take two hours. I was thinking it might be an bad day or something. So I want to give it a try and see for myself.
I was wrong!!!!
IT Did Take Two Hours before the food arrived. The food cold and saggy with some of the soup spill all over the bag. The driver didn’t say anything, No one from the company call to explain why it take so long as if this is their normal operation. I will never order food from them!

DO NOT use HungryPanda熊猫外卖 if you have any other choice. This is the slowest and most inefficient food delivery app in the region. It’s only advantage is its Chinese specialties, but they do a terrible job in both its communication and delivery.

An order submitted through HungryPanda熊猫外卖 can be prepared and sat at the restaurant for an hour straight without a driver picking it up, and there is no clear information given by HungryPanda熊猫外卖 regarding what’s happening to your food. Their pick up driver can change several times while waiting, so if you see a driver is 3 min away from your food, it might likely be another 30 min of waiting, because that driver might just be driving through your restaurant and waiting on some other driver to pick up your order.

The customer service does not care about your order at all. They don’t allow order cancellation even when your order is well over an entire hour late, and their only suggestion after 2 hours of waiting is for you to go pick up your order on your own.

Most of the 5 star reviews HungryPanda熊猫外卖 gets is from botting, and you can easily tell because their reviews are eithwer 5 star or 1 stars, and there are no in betweens.

I order from a store that shows to be 35 min for delivery. After I ordered and payed. It says it’ll take 50min to arrive. Ok I accept tht. But after 50 min. I got a message saying it needs another 25 mins.........like wat the heck!? In the end It took 1 hr and 20 min to arrive. I tried calling their customer service but no one was on the line. This is the longest I’ve ever waited for an delivery made online or with an app. It’s so unorganized n awful. I would’ve been able to get my food already if I drove out to pick it up myself! 80 min for a food delivery is way too long.

I just move to New York and would like to try HungryPanda to deliver food to my apartment. However, the food is not delivered at the estimated time. And 40 minutes later, the system shows the food is delivered. But where is the delivery people? I am so hungry right now, I had wanted HungryPanda to deliver food to me, but ends up I become a hungry panda. Could anyone suggest some food delivery company (that can deliver Chinese food) to me? This situation would never happen in China either in 饿了么 or 美团外卖. I was shocked by today’s experience and try to figure out would my food be delivered hours later, or how should I get my money back.

It’s the worst food delivery app I have ever used.
They told you your food will be delivered in 40 mins. Don’t trust them, it took me 2 hours. I was dying.
And the food is cold. You have to reheat it again. Glad we have microwave in my workplace.
I sent messages to customer service person via WeChat and to be honest she/he was nice but not helpful at all. What she/he did was just keeping telling me they have contacted restaurant and driver so my food will arrive soon. Liar.
So eventually my food arrived in 130 mins. What I got? Stomachache , cold food, and 5 dollars coupon (which can only be redeemed next time by making another order, and it expires in 6 days) Bravo!

When the delivery person give me a wrong order, the first thing they did was contact the driver who call me back furiously, and after identifying that it was his fault, he led me back to the customer service on HungryPanda熊猫外卖 . Which already took 20 mins.

After waiting for another 20 min, the first thing customer service decided to do was to ask me is “have you eat the order yet.” And as the customer I had to explain to them how this wrong order arrived 30 min late after an 45 min estimated delivery time, we were extremely hungry, and since the customer service also held us for 20 min, we decided to eat the wrong order.

Then they asked :” did you pick up the order by yourself” and there I go explaining the entire situation again.

After waiting for over an hour. The customer service finally agreed to give me a red packet, which was only 3 dollars.

My order was 38 bucks, and the price difference between my order and the order that I sadly stuff down my stomach was 20 bucks.

Goodbye to those 3 sad dollars, never ordering here again.

This delivery system is a joke, there’s no estimated arrival time, instead, there are like MTA system that kept adding more time for you to wait, the only reason they’ll tell you is because they’re busy. Forget about asking for refund after you placed your order, I said I would like to refund because I can’t wait any longer, the customer service said: “Sorry, it is not refundable.”, they made you to accept your order no matter you’ve waited a long time, or the food’s cold or something wrong, really? And they’ll called your delivery guy to give you a call, repeating what they just responded to you, again.

I now know why they called HungryPanda, because you’ll wait for a long time to get your food, and the quality is already not good enough

Never had a problem with delivery in terms of duration and punctuation, however every driver asked me if I can give them some tips because they can not receive their share from HungryPanda熊猫外卖 . I don’t know if they’re lying for tips or there’s something wrong with HungryPanda熊猫外卖 . FIX IT PLEASE. I’ve never in my life been asked for tips bluntly and it’s ridiculous.
