I purchased earlier today a Parking Voucher which states on the Voucher good from 12:00am to 12:00am Friday, July 26, 2019. Finally located the Underground Parking Ramp entrance after asking multiple people at the location since there was absolutely NO signage. Unfortunately, the Screen Gate was down and apparently closed when we tried to access at 4pm this afternoon. Subsequently after talking to 2 very pleasant ACE employees, we were told that the Parking doesn’t open until 5pm!
So very confused and uncertain why the website and the Parking Voucher that I purchased and printed clearly indicates it’s valid for a 24 hour period!
Apparently this is incorrect, and misleading, and also the Contract Limits of Ace Liability states “No refunds for permits issued after purchase”. I and the other 3 people in my vehicle were greatly inconvenience as we waited around in excess of an hour to park our car, and were able to leave it for just a few hours - like 3 hours, vs. the 24 hours the Contract stated!
While doubtful I’ll ever be able to each someone at ACE to get some satisfaction about their error & misleading Contract and advertising on ACEParking , I hope that common decency would prevail and they’d refund a portion of the Price + ‘Convenience Fee” of $.95!
