After creating an account, I couldn’t purchase parking, so I got back in my car and parked somewhere else.

Worst parking app I’ve ever used

Supposedly you can pay by text, but when I click on the link and enter my payment details I’m unable to pay. So then I’m forced to download an app for a parking transaction that I don’t think I will repeat ever again. And of course ACEParking seems like it was designed without any customer feedback at all: for some reason I have to add parking to a shopping cart in order to check out (I need a cart because apparently I plan to pay for parking for TWO cars at the same time?!?). And then of course I need to REGISTER my car AND my card, and select both the card and the car in order to checkout. And to add insult to injury the auto fill doesn’t work for some reason so I have to manually enter my credit card number. All in all I spent close to 5 minutes trying to accomplish something that would have taken 30 seconds at a normal meter. This was probably some overpaid exec’s idea of “digital transformation” gone horribly, horribly wrong.

I purchased earlier today a Parking Voucher which states on the Voucher good from 12:00am to 12:00am Friday, July 26, 2019. Finally located the Underground Parking Ramp entrance after asking multiple people at the location since there was absolutely NO signage. Unfortunately, the Screen Gate was down and apparently closed when we tried to access at 4pm this afternoon. Subsequently after talking to 2 very pleasant ACE employees, we were told that the Parking doesn’t open until 5pm!

So very confused and uncertain why the website and the Parking Voucher that I purchased and printed clearly indicates it’s valid for a 24 hour period!

Apparently this is incorrect, and misleading, and also the Contract Limits of Ace Liability states “No refunds for permits issued after purchase”. I and the other 3 people in my vehicle were greatly inconvenience as we waited around in excess of an hour to park our car, and were able to leave it for just a few hours - like 3 hours, vs. the 24 hours the Contract stated!

While doubtful I’ll ever be able to each someone at ACE to get some satisfaction about their error & misleading Contract and advertising on ACEParking , I hope that common decency would prevail and they’d refund a portion of the Price + ‘Convenience Fee” of $.95!

I use many other pay to park applications. Some of those are quirky but manageable. This one was literally unusable. Tried to add a new vehicle. Nothing gets added. Tried again nothing. Tried again yet nothing. Then 3 copies of the same vehicle appear. ACEParking failed to show that there was a lag and didn’t show any “info saved” message. So you think there is an error but not. Then you have 3 vehicles with the exact info (heard of duplicate validation anyone?). Then I tried to pay. Though the garage claimed it used ACEParking the map view didn’t show the garage I was parked in and there was no way to enter the garage number manually. Ended up deleting ACEParking and paying in the machine in the lobby. Who knows if I had waited 15 minutes maybe the garage would have appeared? Save your time. Avoid this application.

The latest updates were the worst. None of my information was saved so I had to re-enter everything. The map wouldn’t even load properly so that I could find my preferred parking garage, which despite having listed it as a favorite before would never show up under my favorites (it’s the only parking garage I use). With the latest format it is so not user friendly and the wording is off (Arrivals? Departures? This isn’t an airline) also making it unnecessarily unclear and complicated for a basic app. What was this update supposed to improve? Having updates for the sake of having updates is a horrible waste of time. I would revisit the KISS method.

I like the idea of this but it's SUPER confusing. Problem is you don't have much of a choice if the parking kiosk is down.I really have no idea if I paid for what I need to. When you try to pay per hour it just shows you "0 hours" or the all day option. What if I go over an hour? Does it charge me again automatically? How do I know when my hour is up? How can I be confident that I won't get a ticket? And why does ACEParking not list the lot # that is shown on the lot sign? Honestly, the whole thing just stresses me out but like I said, you don't have much choice so you have to deal and hope they improve it.

Consistently loses the information I store in it (eg my car info and cc info) and always tells me my password is incorrect. When I change it, it then repeatedly tells me that the new password is incorrect.
Then I have to manually re-enter all the information which mysteriously (also consistently) disappears or cannot be processed. Therefore forced to use the pay by text feature which adds a “convenience fee”. There is absolutely nothing convenient about ACEParking or the texting. Awful.

I got excited I could use the convenience of an app to pay for parking, but that didn’t last long. ACEParking doesn’t offer me the same options as the kiosk at the Parkin lot. But the worse part is that I’m currently waiting by my car for someone to show up because it GOT BOOTED, even after paying for it.
The “use a guest” option should request my email address to send me a copy of my entire transaction, since I can’t see it once payment is made.
Very disappointed!

Newest version of ACEParking is horrible! The interface is bad, and it actually won’t let you purchase parking at some lots if you need to change the duration of the parking. To add, the attendants don’t bother to check that you purchased via app before writing tickets. After this new update rolled out (just like all previous updates) I got multiple bogus tickets. For all the revenue they make from us, you’d think they could get decent app developers....

I have been trying to get a monthly parking for weeks now through ACEParking because their website keeps crashing. ACEParking doesnt even work either. I have also been trying to call the corporate and no one seems to pick up their phone.

Loved ACEParking. It was very easy to navigate. I was looking for a place to park and it allowed me to reserve parking and then use my phone to scan in and out! Will definitely use again.

I have an Ace account through Facebook which I have trouble using when using my laptop.

However ACEParking will not let me log using Facebook. Get an error message that says that I have previously logged in with Facebook AND also that I must create a new Facebook account to log in on ACEParking . (???????)

That's it just spent 20 minutes trying to think of a super long password with a upper case, lower and case and special charactors for a app that pays for parking.

Glad to know ACEParking and my bank use the same password.

Think of how much better the end user first impression with ACEParking would be if they didn't have to think of an insane password?

All the time I was hoping to save by not having to drive around was lost trying to think of this password. Shaking my head.

I tried three different credit cards and it got upset at all three, without telling me why. I then tried to text, But it failed as well. Unimpressive for someone who wanted to use a credit card once, and not provide a lifetime of history to go with the single purchase.

The pull down function to adjust your time is broken. It auto resets to two hours regardless of what duration you plug in. This is a scam. Just pay at the stations. Someone remove ACEParking from all platforms.

Most of the parking lots have "Purchase N/A." There was a news item on TV with a Ace person saying you could pre-purchase parking but that is not a option on ACEParking . There is no filter either. I would like to park where there is a EV charger but that option is not there also.

Needs some improvement, but still accurate and reliable!

ACEParking is really useful, specially when I want to get a parking spot before arriving to the parking lot. Awesome app!

You’ll love the new features.

Pre-paid for all day parking but barcode in app won’t scan at garage, so end up having to get a paper ticket and paying more for hourly rate. And employees on site are clueless. Very frustrating.

The lot advertises to download and use ACEParking but it does not even show up on the map! Needless to say I did not get to see how bad the rest of it is. What a waste of time.

I downloaded ACEParking to pay. The stupid lot said not available. Why advertise your app if I can’t use it where I am? Come on. 0 stars.

This is the worst app I have ever used. Clearly made by a 14 year old. How are you supposed to find out about monthly parking when there are NO phone numbers listed??????????????? !!!!!?????!?!???????????????????
