I've been calling you for several days. Been on hold for several hours. Went through endless loops on your voice message system. When I try to login online to make a payment it says my account is locked. Please contact you. When I call and spend half a day trying to speak with someone it tell s me my account has been unlocked and it says it sent a temporary password to my email. Neither has happened. So. Please unlock my account.
ok. after your system called me back and I waited on hold music for another 35 minutes, The agent that finally answered was able unlock my account and provided a password reset to finally resolve my issue. Thank you to the agent.
Please find a better way to conduct business. Unbelievably painful process.

I like that as you log in to FedLoanStudentLoans it immediately shows you what you owe, at the bottom when your las payment was and a big button to make a payment. I mainly use it to just submit my payments so I haven’t had to use other features on it. Also thought the COVID pandemic it shows the info of any payment not having to be made and what date the interests will begin again.

What we have here is a classic insult to injury situation. I envision some kind of evil, self-satisfied overlord type sitting behind a giant desk, in a spookily-lit office on the top floor of the Fedloan Servicing building, laughing maniacally at how he (it’s definitely a man) has found one more way to screw us. “We’ve been taking their money for years and now we can shoot their pitiful peon lives full of frustration and inconvenience every time they try to use FedLoanStudentLoans . Hahaha,” he says as he rubs his hands together.
I don’t understand how FedLoanStudentLoans got an average rating of 4.8. Bizarre. Suspicious. FedLoanStudentLoans is so close to useless, it’s infuriating. One would think that a company getting so much of our money would be able to provide a helpful app. Apparently one would be wrong. FedLoanStudentLoans has very little functionality.

I love FedLoanStudentLoans! I give it 4/5 stars for two requests:
1) Please make it easier to select the amount to pay individual loans. The payment box on the right side of the screen is not intuitive, and appears to be filled in before you have entered the amount to pay off.
2) App maintenance has kept me locked out on and off for two months, and has hindered me from viewing my account or making payments toward my student loans. Is there an end in site for FedLoanStudentLoans to be consistently open for business? Otherwise, it’s a great comparison to the fedloan website. Thank you!

My last name has an apostrophe in it and every time I attempt to create an account with the apostrophe, I get an error message. The error message says, “Last Name can only contain letters, apostrophes” ... you see my issue? If I don’t do the apostrophe and instead do a space or no special formatting at all and then I receive another error message about my personal information not matching their records 😑. Because, ya know, mine has an apostrophe in it. I have screenshots of what’s happening and I was going to email Fedloan however, going through the “contact us” page, I can’t receive their email unless I set up an account.. which is all I wanted to do in the first place. 🙄😑

I am constantly trying to reset my password for this account. It is extremely frustrating to have to do this every time I try to log in. I would love to be able to rely on apple’s feature where at least it can set a complex password and use Face ID to auto login, but for some reason I can’t reset my password and enable Face ID at the same time. I will not pay another dime until y’all calm down with the constant required password resets and LENGTHY password history avoidance requirement. It’s unreasonable and frankly it comes off as discriminatory to expect people with memory and focus deficits to be able to remember all of that.

It’s not as easy to find, but it is under pay>make payment>payment options. I was also pretty upset that I couldn’t find it at first, but as long as it’s there, I’m happy. I do wish it were easier to access, but overall, I’m grateful for the redesign. I feel like it came very quickly after we were sent a survey and it felt like we were heard. Thank you for fixing the log in issue!

I love FedLoanStudentLoans. I like to monitor where my money is going and see what I owe. FedLoanStudentLoans allows you to make sure you stay on top of payments and help with determining how long you may have to be paying on your loan. It encourages you to want to pay more when the numbers are deceasing. I love the pay off option. You can see every loan individually and have the option of paying that loan. It’s an awesome app.

The mobile app has made repayment of my loans extremely easy to manage. I love the fact that I can target payments toward specific loans. It will show you the balance on all loans, the interest rates, you past&future payments. You can also utilize the message area to keep up on import news pertaining to loans. It has made everything easy and fast.

... That Fedloan won't be my loan service provider anymore. Been using them since 2016, and I'm actually nervous to see how everything will go with Edfinancial Services.

I really don't know who decided to implement this change nor why. FedLoanStudentLoans was always easy to use and never gave me problems.

1. Tiny thing but I HATE when computer programs put "hello, name!" It's so bad!

2. They're trying to make it harder for you to pay more on your loans. Never forget they WANT you to take longer and pay more interest. That is their GOAL. I've always payed an extra $400 a month on the highest interest rate loan. They gray it out so it looks like you can't target it (since nothing is owed "right now" on it). Don't let it fool you, you can still put money in there.

3. I've been saving money for an emergency fund but I'm seriously considering scrapping that entire idea, just to pay off the student loans and never have to deal with FedLoanStudentLoans again.

Very well organized App with all of the tools I need at my disposal. The repayment options are all very clear and allow you to choose between them without having to go through too many hoops. Being able to pay off ahead of time, make automated payments, make extra payments, are all really good.

Yesterday I wrote this:

“‘Routine maintenance in progress’ every time I launch FedLoanStudentLoans . No longer possible to access account with FedLoanStudentLoans (but the web site still works). Please fix!”

Turns out all I had to do was delete and reinstall FedLoanStudentLoans . I think it “broke” when I got my new iPhone SE...

Been locked out for a month nobody answers the phone then you have to sign into your account to email about not being able to sign in. These companies know exactly what they are doing. But hey one miss payment on student loan they ruin your life for 7 years even tho it’s their fault.
Corruption is flowing into every online business. Stay away from this company. They won’t help you unless you fit a certain category in their box. Locked out for no reason during tax season JUST WONDERFUL

There is limited information displayed in each view. Loan information is confusing. Different loans should be easily identifiable (Ex: Loan #1...) for making payments. More information should be available in the view of each loan, (Ex: Principal balances, Interest Rate, original loan amount, amount remaining). Loan information should be formatted the same for loan information page, and for payments applied to each individual loan.
Easy to make payments for people who don’t think about their loans.

Love the new updated look of FedLoanStudentLoans ! It’s great to have the total loan balance on the “home page”.

As a previous reviewer said, finding the specific loan payout is not super intuitive, but I was able to find it easily from that reviewer’s directions.

Paying of loans is a necessary evil, but this new update makes the process much more enjoyable!

So far, using this is app is much better than using the website. Few things i would recommend. 1: allow fingerprint id to be used even after session timeout or log out. Currently i have to to shut down FedLoanStudentLoans to get it back. And 2: allow the user to see how payments are dispersed once they are scheduled. Other than that i have no complaints.

Whatever you did to FedLoanStudentLoans when it was updated needs to be fixed. I can’t log in there’s always an error try again message. The website also won’t load for some reason on any of my home devices. It’s never been so hard for me to pay a loan. What gives???

I’ve submitted 3 payments in the last couple months that have been kicked back even though I have money in my account and my bank info is correct. I have been using FedLoanStudentLoans for years or using the website on my computer and have never changed my bank info. I called Chase Bank and they said there was no issue on their end. Very frustrating. And even right now as I’m typing, the words aren’t showing up. It’s all white. Hopefully you can read this

Paying loans is stressful enough, but FedLoanStudentLoans makes it really easy to pay on your loans and keep track of your balance. I especially enjoy the giant ring around the amount you owe on the homepage that slowly trickles down as your pay them down.

I’ve been using FedLoanStudentLoans for a long time now and I’ve found it pretty easy to use and maneuver through. Just take the time to figure out the features and how it works and you’ll be fine. I haven’t used a web version to pay my loans in a long time! So convenient!

FedLoanStudentLoans as allowed me to take control of my loans easier. I can see uptodate information, make changes, submit payments, etc. all through FedLoanStudentLoans. It is incredibly user friendly. Fantastic job to whomever created this platform!!

The new update is a little difficult to navigate. I wish I could go back and undo this update. I’ve been paying extra on specific loans to get them paid off sooner and with the new update I can’t figure out how to do that. I have to google myfedloan and put in my account info and use that site to be able to pay specific loans. Not a fan of this new update. I hope they take the navigation difficulty into consideration and update it again soon with the ability to pay specific loans.

I used to love FedLoanStudentLoans. I especially loved when they added feature to target loans. The latest major overhaul brought the “great feature” of an inbox? The old app was great I could see quickly what loans I had and interest on each one in a tight format. Most importantly I could target my payments towards the highest interest rate. Removing this one feature took FedLoanStudentLoans from a 4 or 5 star app to -1. It makes FedLoanStudentLoans almost useless and I will now use the website to target loans.

For the most part I love the new version of FedLoanStudentLoans . The only part I don’t like is when my session times out I can’t sign back in. When the time out page comes up I tap sign in and it takes me back to the log in page but before I can type in my information the time out page pops back up.

FedLoanStudentLoans was much easier to navigate before the latest update and redesign. One of the biggest annoyances is finding the target loan tab. It’s so frustrating that I just use the website instead, and it makes me disregard the entire app completely. I wish it would go back to how it was like displaying all of my loans in an easy to read format. Simplicity is key, nothing showy and fancy. We want basic and easy navigation to check and pay on our loans!

The recent update is absolutely horrible. Every action requires you to “Retry” multiple times before processing which is bad enough (logging in, answering secret question, accessing different commands once finally logged in, etc). At least get it functional and working right. Then make the display more direct, convenient & user-friendly. Just revert it back to the prior version which worked great, was easy to view and had everything the user needed. This is the poorest “update” of any app I’ve ever had.

Hard to navigate to find payment history. Also all the dates for payment history are the same day the loan was taken out, instead of reflecting the day that the payment was accepted. Also takes longer than other apps to reflect that that payment was made and for the money to be pulled out.

I do like FedLoanStudentLoans. It’s very convenient for when I need to pay my loans...when it works. At least once a month FedLoanStudentLoans goes through a phase saying that there’s an error logging in and to try again later. I’m also not a huge fan of the update. It used to be super easy to make a target payment. The update has kind of turned it into a process

The new redesign looks visually appealing and makes it easy to stay on top of payments. I appreciate the long-awaited integration of Face-ID. Maybe still a few kinks to work out but overall an excellent update.

The latest update brings a fresh new look and much improved compatibility with the Xs Max, but I think it removed (or maybe is still missing) the feature that shows the combined weighted interest rate of all loans. I miss that.
