First...I love Flylady and the whole concept behind it. FlyLadyPlus and the service have created a conflict within itself. There is so much email that if I actually read all of them, I'll never get anything done. That is why I unsubscribed from all of the email lists. They became mind clutter for me. On to FlyLadyPlus itself. THE ROUTINES DO NOT RESET EACH DAY. What? A seemingly small thing, but holy annoying problem, Batman. The calendar... Why is it there if I can't edit anything? The point of incorporating a calendar into an app like this is to streamline my routine. I can't edit, add, or delete anything. And while I love the little encouraging messages from Flylady on my calendar, I would really like to see that message have some info. My daily mission for example? I know it's on the home page, but frankly, I ignore that page because of the clutter. I'd really like to sign up for and do the classes, but past experience has scared me away. Sooooo much email!

Once a SHE, always a SHE! I’m very inconsistent at getting my routines done, but FlyLadyPlus gives me hope! I see great potential here. Instead of opening my email and getting bogged down in numerous testimonials, reminders and advertisements for the Fly Shop, I can open up FlyLadyPlus, read an essay or two and get right to work on my routines. Since I carry my phone with me everywhere, my list of chores is always with me. I don’t have to keep running into the kitchen to look at my control journal to see what’s next!

However, I have issue with the Daily Mission. Like today for instance, it has the correct date, but says it’s Monday when it’s Saturday. It says we’re in zone 5, when we’re in zone 2. It says the Habit of the Month is Laundry, when all the FlyLady emails say it’s Dress to Lace Up Shoes. It would really help if the Daily Mission was consistent with the rest of the program.

I love that Flylady is now in an app! I love checking the items off of the list! I a definitely one of those clunkers who needs to break things down into small, easy to accomplish tasks and FlyLadyPlus helps with that! If I could make FlyLadyPlus just for me, I would include just a few more things:

1) a skip button. I know we are supposed to be getting over our perfectionism, but I am also trying to learn new habits and by just remembering an item needs to be thought about every morning helps! But I live alone half the time when my son isn’t here and I only run the dishwasher once a week. I want to check the item off but I don’t want to cheat if I really didn’t do it.

2) I wish the list helped me prioritize and included everything. I find myself flipping through FlyLadyPlus checking multiple places. I would love it if, just like GPS, as soon as I check one thing off, it reminds me of what comes next. “Yay! You finished your afternoon routine! Have you worked in your zone yet?”

Another fun thing would be if, instead of a social media like menu, when you opened it (obviously looking for something to do) a task would just pop up! Then you could either skip and come back or complete the task. Maybe it would even ask how much time you have to spend.

As a classic Sidetracked Home Executive and a techie person, I find FlyLadyPlus to be very helpful. I started “flying” about 8 years ago but fell off the wagon after getting bogged down with paper and emails. Fast forward, needing order to the CHAOS, I decided to give FlyLady’s method a try again since now “there’s an app for that” ;) . I really love the checklists, and the fact that I can edit, add, and reorder them. The daily pep talks from the desk of the FlyLady are a helpful and encouraging teaching tool. I’m sure the courses are great for the same reason, but I haven’t tried that portion of FlyLadyPlus .

FlyLadyPlus looks put together well and the parts I need the most work well. However, I also see a few opportunities for improvement. These improvements fall under the category of “I don’t need them, but if they are there they should work.“
• Under the “Home” button, the “Daily Mission” always reads “Please connect to the internet”.
• The FlyLady calendar can’t connect to my calendar.
• The timer keeps the phone on, causing a battery drain.
• If you shut the phone off to save battery while the timer is running, the timer won’t sound its chime.

FlyLadyPlus is a wonderful helper to me. To the developer, Thanks! Keep working on it. It has some great ideas that just need some tweaks. Fix those tweaks and you earn your fifth star.

I have only had FlyLadyPlus for a week, but it is helped me tremendously! I appreciate it having daily things, and zones. It helps me to wrap my mind around what should be done daily and what could be done every week or every two weeks. I did not come from a neat organized home, but a chaotic disaster. This is literally teaching me a skill that I do not have which is sort of sad. However, I have to agree with another review that there are a couple things that are bothering me about FlyLadyPlus itself. First of all, the edit button and the done heart when you're trying to add something is kind of tricky on my iPhone 5… It doesn't want to go and it keeps cutting off. Also, I can't change or add anything into my agenda from FlyLadyPlus which I would like to be able to do if they're going to be connected. Also you have to physically reset the daily routines. Now I understand why you would want to reset the zones because you might not get everything done in one day because you have serval days to do some of the zone work issues but I think the daily routine should probably reset automatically. I hope this helps! What this is doing for me personally I would give it five stars but I gave it four stars because of those few problems that I've seen so far.

Love being able to add and edit my own routines. Created a routine for each month to remind me of maintenance items that I need to do on appliances and added my gardening requirements that fit in my zones. I even added my car maintenance to the monthly reminders like rotating tires before winter.

There are a few bugs or at least I think it’s a bug. It says on the calendar that I have nothing scheduled for the day so it says add event. When I click on add nothing happens. I would really like to schedule items on this calendar that do not copy onto my other calendars. I need to sparky paint outside and the next day the weather works for that is 3 days away. I wanted to add the reminder but there is no place to even try to add it if I have something on the calendar that was imported from my main calendar. I would like to be able to keep all household work and cleaning in FlyLadyPlus. Please clean out the bugs that prevent me from adding an item when the button is available and make the add an appointment available for any day even if items are imported from elsewhere.

I LOVE FlyLadyPlus! It is simple, clear, well-organized and helping me make a BIG difference in my home and daily structure. I’m very encouraged. It seems so silly, but calling Wednesday “anti-procrastination day” has been a great help. Remembering to just handle tasks that are in front of me (rather than delaying) and setting timers have also been useful.
** there are some odd issues that need fixing. Sometimes, it won’t update to “today”. Sometimes 1 part updates and another doesn’t. Saturday - why doesn’t it ever update? Why not just update the date and give some greeting or direction so if doesn’t feel like it’s just stuck on Friday and maybe I’m missing something?

I have tried FlyLady emails in the past. I didn’t understand the system and the emails overwhelmed me with words, words, words.
I recently checked out the website to look old posts - YIKES! Moving ads, words everywhere - no white space. There is SO MUCH good information - but I wish a web designer could help by applying some of FlyBaby / FlyLady principles. It could be soooooooo much better. It’s in serious need of decluttering.

Love FlyLadyPlus. Her 15min cleaning method is nothing new (think the old fashioned wash on Monday iron on Tuesday etc) but I love her daily routines and weekly zones. I always sort of had the idea all zones had to be done weekly and well... you can imagine with a family I just gave up feeling defeated all the time. Now, I (will) tackle a zone a week and if I don’t get everything done, I will do the items I didn’t get done last month first next month. I’ve only been using her system for a week but I’ve been so inspired and it’s even inspiring my family. And best of all, I’m not feeling resentful of spending all my time cleaning up after others. Because I’m working in smaller more reasonable time segments and getting so very much more done and teaching my family to do the same.

Almost 18 yrs of marriage and my husband and I are finally on the same page regarding doing the dishes!!🎉🎉🎉

It would be five stars if I could rename the zones and add zones. For example I do not have an extra bedroom. But I’d like a zone for the garage.

I first heard of Fly Lady a couple years ago and loved her! I didn’t know she had an app for a while and have used it for about a month. I really enjoy it. Her philosophy on cleaning/homemaking is great. I love the cleaning lists for each day. It makes me feel like the daily cleaning tasks are manageable and reduces overwhelm. The one thing that is kind of annoying (not a big deal but a “con”) is that the daily lists do not refresh on their own. It does seem kind of minimal but I feel like FlyLadyPlus would run a lot smoother for the user if it could reset on its own. I use a paper calendar so do not sync mine to the this app calendar so I can’t comment on that. I like the morning musings and ask FlyLady questions to read as well. I like the zone cleaning (although I do not follow her particular zone cleaning schedule). I think the idea of zone cleaning is wonderful and this is great for anyone needing some help with homemaking feeling overwhelming!

FlyLadyPlus is really easy to use and customize. When I focus on the tasks at hand I get so much done. It is easy to change existing lists and create new lists. So much better than having multiple lists on the computer. I like that you have to manually reset your lists each day because once you know when your day ends.

I have only two suggestions for improvements. It would be nice if, when adding new items to a list, the first character would default to uppercase. When I make a change to my regular calendar outside of FlyLadyPlus , FlyLadyPlus doesn’t automatically update its calendar. Currently I have to exit and close FlyLadyPlus and then reopen it. It’s annoying but I love FlyLadyPlus so much I still rate it 5 out of 5 stars.

I have always been the girl envious of those who could keep their home together and make it look effortless. So I tried keeping up and then it just led to burnt out cleaning sessions and being the “messy girl”. I’m married with 2 kids and a pup. One is a toddler and FlyLadyPlus I feel like I spend such a small amount of time cleaning and in turn my home is staying so clean. Last weekend I was sick and scared all my hard work from the week would put me with a tornado of a mess Monday morning and nope! It took five minutes to just wipe the counters down, put spices back and load a few pots and pans and woot woot! Home back in order. For a stay at home mom FlyLadyPlus is so nice. My 18 month old now looks forward to our chores and routine, he loves using his vacuum and broom, helping wipe counters and picking up. 100% worth it.

As a Dutch girl, I was born and raised into a culture that values and practices a high degree of cleanliness. As a result and at the risk of sounding self-congratulatory, my home and work space have always been cleaner and more organized than most. And clutter? Banish the word. So, I was doubtful that Flylady would have anything to offer a lifelong clean freak like myself. I was pleasantly surprised. The daily routines, the zones, the checklists, and the emphasis on working in 15 minute chunks have helped me to be even more organized and systematic while also freeing up time. I already had daily cleaning routines similar to the ones Flylady uses. Hers were a bit more detailed and the check off lists give me a satisfactory sense of accomplishment as I complete each one. The detailed cleaning in the zones helped me make sure that things get done on a regular schedule. This makes the weekly blessing hour (Saturday morning cleaning) so much faster and more efficient. I don’t worry about deep cleaning areas because I know those will be addressed when I am working in that zone. This system has won the approval of my Dutch mother and that is high praise, indeed.

I love FlyLadyPlus!! I have been following The FlyLady for years. I am thrilled to have an app on my phone to keep track of my zones. I also appreciate being able to adjust the sections and to do lists to fit my personal home-keeping needs. For instance, I created a section called Art Studio and made a list of things important to me to keep track of in that area from cleaning and decluttering to related things such as working on my website, and other art business projects. So it’s not just about cleaning up an area in my home, but also getting organized in my art life. It’s important to make time for all the important aspects of our lives and FlyLadyPlus goes a long way in helping me stay focused on my goals.

I found this cleaning program in the late 90s when I had my fourth baby. I needed help organizing the chaos in my home. To now have an app to further help organize my day is genius!
FlyLadyPlus has all the morning, afternoon, and night routines along with the weekly cleaning zones. Each list has clickable bullet points to mark off on the cleaning list what has been done. I have a deep love of making a list and marking off the items as they are completed. FlyLadyPlus gives me that satisfaction.
Also, the daily musings from the flylady, who is there to help you drop your perfectionism and stop procrastinating, is included for your encouragement.
The lists are editable as they allow you to either add, change or even delete an item—which is great because each home is different than the other. So my list needs tweaking to show the differences. Like vacuum was renamed to sweep, since I don’t have carpets in our home.
If you want to start tackling the mess in your home and use a systematic approach which will eventually keep your home clean on a daily, this is FlyLadyPlus and program for you. Leave your perfectionism at the door and dive in where you’re at.

Thank you Flylady!!! I do not write reviews for much of anything, maybe two in my life and that's a maybe. FlyLadyPlus has helped me literally transform my house in only a couple of weeks and that has mainly been by checking off all the daily tasks on each routine, morning, afternoon and before bed. Only a few days ago I started getting into the weekly home blessing, which has turned out to be much more manageable than I thought it was going to be. As crazy as it may sound, this has all become somewhat of a fun game I play each day, like a race against the clock to see how much I can get done in short periods of time,
like before I pick my daughter up from kindergarten at noon or before anybody wakes up in the morning.
Seriously love FlyLadyPlus and the fly lady team for all they do!

I discovered Flylady 2007. I struggled so much with all the paper and trying to complete the lists remember the book, open the book! I’ve found it’s hard to take care of myself and clean the daily stuff plus add the other things and start a business out of my home. Last week on a whim I looked for a list app and I found this, the Flylady app! I’m back to getting all those daily chores done, my sink is no longer full in the mornings when I wake up! I’m taking care of myself better and more able to stay focused! I finish so much more because it’s simple but I’m flying! More than ever before! And I don’t have to remember the book! My phone and FlyLadyPlus works better for me. If I need to I can consult my book! I feel even more free! FlyLadyPlus is the perfect compliment to the website and the book! THANK YOU FOR CREATING IT!

I’m loving FlyLadyPlus , emails and definitely the products. When my children were younger I followed the SHE sisters and read all their material. I have definitely missed them. I’m so glad I found the this app and flylady. I’m having a grandson here for a week. This morning as he slid across my kitchen floor, he said “is this a new floor?” Lol. It’s so clean and shiny! And last night My husband said “You’re Staying up too late cleaning?” Lol I explained that I only cleaned his bathroom that morning. But it sound much shinier and cleaner now that he thought I was doing it before I went to bed. This is crazy awesome! And so far I only got the Swisher for the toilet and the purple rags. But the extra large mop is coming with extra pads. I can’t wait! This is definitely a FIVE STAR! I’m having lunch with my sister-in-law this week, I can’t wait to tell her. Along with me, she used the SHE process many years ago.

I have been to FLYbaby who (after 7 years of reading your emails) has still never learned to FLY! I do have a shiny sink and I swish and swipe and even made my journal but never got past that. I agree with everything but never actually set my timer or do the zones. FlyLadyPlus has helped me start to FLY!!!!!!! I got so wrapped up in preparing to do things that I ran out of energy to actually accomplish anything. I tailored the routines to my small apartment and lifestyle and have been doing them finally!!! I have always been a geek and love technology and FlyLadyPlus is saving my life!! I added “taking medication “ to my routines and set an alarm for checking my routines and I haven’t missed a dose since!! I’m feeling better and drinking my water. FlyLadyPlus is for all the perfectionists who get stuck preparing rather than doing!! Thank you to FLYlady and the developers and all who had input!!!!!!

Just the sort of productivity app I had been looking for! Since finding FlyLadyPlus , I’ve become a FlyLady convert; I listen to old episodes of the podcast, have read two FlyLady books, and have started a Control Journal. My productivity has skyrocketed and I am finally able to manage my home in a way that I’d always envisioned, but had no concrete system for actually achieving (until now!). This free app has actually changed my life.

In terms of what can be improved upon, I really like that I can stay on top of my morning, afternoon, evening, and weekly zone routines, but it would be nice if I could also keep track of daily routines in the agenda section. Those tasks I have to add to iCalendar then the FlyLady app imports them (which is great), but I’m not sure why I haven’t been successful in updating my agenda directly within the FlyLady app.

At any rate, thank you for this fantastic service!!

What a clutter free way to have the essentials of the daily routines and zones on hand. I generally have my phone near me so FlyLadyPlus is great! It syncs with your calendar so that your agenda shows up (although so far I don’t see a way to add things to your agenda in FlyLady). A timer is handy for the timed challenges and keeping you on task. I also like that the timer goes off but then doesn’t beep incessantly before you shut it off. The daily missions are updated during the weekdays. All of the zone work is listed. I like how you can reset the lists at the end of the day. You can add personalized to dos to the lists. Some of the lists are editable as far as changing the order that you accomplish things. However that capability is not in the zone routines...which I would like there as well as my brain thinks in a certain order. All in all a great app and so thankful it’s available for free!

I have used this app in past and stopped for a while. I do not now, since having a new iPhone, remember my password. I tried to use the reset password feature, and I could go to my e-mail and "reset" it, but when I go to login I still am unable to, even with a new password. I got so frustrated that I tried to simply create a new account, even with different e-mail. Nothing works. I am pretty much blocked out. I can and have deleted the app and tried afresh with a new download to simply use and maneuver on the app, I can, but without logging in. Once I try to login in anyway, I can't use app at all. If this is not resolved in next couple of days, I am out. I love the Flylady system and the app ability, but I must have efficient and helpful access. This has become like an albatross to my moving forward with progress, and like all useless clutter, it must be thrown. Please help!
