ASUSExtender keeps crashing. I cannot access my extender.

Constantly crashes impossible to use.

Please fix. Barely works, as it crashes all the time.

Always crashes when I try to connect to the extender on app. Useless

If you have an ASUS router, just use the regular ASUS Router app and configure your extender from within that app, not this. It takes 5 minutes from within the ASUS Router app and works like a charm.

Every time that I open ASUSExtender to checking my network status crash.

App constantly crashes shortly after opening. Useless at this point for anything.

Despite extender being within about 25 ft of an ASUS AX Wi-Fi 6 node which runs at 500Mbs extender runs at 0.02Mbs and when trying to diagnose extender app usually crashes within 5s or so. FIX IT !!!

All ASUSExtender does is crash. ASUS really put the D team on this one. Complete dog water. Fix this garbage or let me add the extender via the ASUS Router app which actually works most of the time.

ASUSExtender constantly crashes, don’t even need to try performing an action. Just basic scrolling causes it to crash

I have to reset the unit over and over again. Once I get it working it may last a week or a day connected. Frustrated and sorry I wasted my money.

When I get to the screen where I type in my existing wifi network to connect to, there is no way to proceed. I can type in my wifi password but there's no next button.

Was someone actually paid to write this heaping pile of Bantha Pohdoh? About as useful as a screen door on a submarine. Even as a plug-in to the router app, it refuses to work, even with its own control app. But the graphics must’ve looked cool when you showed them in the meeting, right? ASUS hardware is fine. The software they write to control it... deplorable.

App crashes as soon as you touch anything in it to view deeper details. Fails to log in with correct user and password given. Frustrating! No idea what the purpose of ASUSExtender is.

It keeps popping up a window that says I need to turn on location settings for it to be able to map my devices. The exact message: “ ASUS Extender needs your location permission to find ASUS router(s) in the environment. Please go to Setting
-> Apps -> ASUS Extender to allow access to this device's location.”

I have the latest firmware installed on my extenders. Had to manually upgrade through the asus router web site for my mesh router. Was able to use ASUSExtender to login to both extenders but when clicking on anything ASUSExtender crashes and closes. I have iOS 16 installed on iPhone 14 pro max.

Not sure what the purpose of ASUSExtender is. The only thing it’s shows me is if my extender is connected, but when I try to do anything like maybe touch an icon so I can see the status, ASUSExtender crashes. No way of seeing the list of devices connected to the extender. No way of updating firmware.

The ASUS Extender app works well when it works. It is handy for quickly adding an extender to an existing WiFi network. However, it exits randomly and appeared to lose track of an extender when I changed the “nickname.” It is also a quick place to lookup names and settings from your phone, but there is limited functionality. For example, a signal meter with a graph and averaging would help with positioning the extender.
