NightEye Reviews

The user interface does not look like it belongs on an iOS device. Notifications come sporadically, if at all. Now, as of 2/28, NightEye won't connect to the Liberty Pumps servers at all. Despite every other network app working fine, it insists that I should check my internet connection and try again later. This is a classic example of why iot devices should not be completely dependent on the manufacturer to keep a web service running in order for the device to be accessible. Despite spending hundreds of dollars for this system, I'm forever dependent on them in order to continue using it.

NightEye used to work decently for years. Now we can’t get into NightEye on any of our devices. We can log in successfully and then get notifications, but after logging in, NightEye just sits there and doesn’t let us in like it used to. Very strange.

When registering a new account, requires email confirmation. I’ve tried numerous times today. Never received the email.
Worse still, there is no help available.

The software installs but every time I try and add a device it times out. If you hit try again NightEye freezes.

Tried to use NightEye today. It would not load for an iPhone 12.

Definitely would have given NightEye 0 stars if I could. I spent several hours trying to get NightEye to work. I even used a friends android after trying to run NightEye on my iPhone multiple times, and I was frustrated to get the same results. During the step where you try to connect the ALM-2 to your phone NightEye freezes. The only way to get out of NightEye is to delete it and reinstall NightEye . Of course, by deleting NightEye this causes you to go through all the steps again. We have 6 units that were purchased for this job, at this point they are nothing more than a super expensive audible contact alarm or a paper weight.

I purchased the ALM-2 EYE and installed NightEye without any issues. NightEye was easy to setup. Everything works as intended. I usually don't review apps, but based on prior reviews I was hesistant to buy the ALM-2_EYE, but I'm glad I did. I purchased the ALM-2-EYE after our prior waste pump failed and the only indcator was that the shower drain was backed up, thankfully no real damage this time. Hopefiully this alarm will notify me when the pump fails again, as to avoid any damage from waste water backing up. Not sure why prior review are so bad, but don't let those reviews prevent you from purchasing the LibertyPump Alarm.

I used the puck option. I set it up in 5mins and now feel comfortable to leave the house for an extended trip. Bonus it has a low temp alert. Great product!
