- Content provider (teachers) can include too little information in a post.

- Messages meant for as few as one student are sent to many end users.

- No rules implemented to force correct usage.

- No way to filter out outgoing messages.

- Files aren't formatted to print properly.

- Viewing a file as a pdf is made impossible in Canvas.

- Logging out and taking days to get logged back in.

- Password does not work in the first place.

Grades posted in Student Canvas are not populating in Parent Canvas. I have two students, both at different schools, and across the board their grades are not posting in Parent Canvas app for iPhone. This has been going on for weeks. I have tried deleting app, reinstalling app, updating app, signing out, resetting my password, re-logging in. Nothing has changed. I can see assignments and what they are worth, but not the grade earned. When I look on the student's Chromebook when they are signed into their own Canvas, the grades are there.

I downloaded the app but that’s as far as I was able to get. It just has the canvas logo on the screen (no words) at first the logo will spin and then nothing. I’ve tried deleting the app and then reinstalling it. I’ve also shut my phone down and turned it back on. Nothing is working, please help.

How to fix Canvas Parent app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Canvas Parent app on iPhone
Update Canvas Parent app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Canvas Parent iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Canvas Parent on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Canvas Parent network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Canvas Parent Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Canvas Parent not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Canvas Parent App
1. On android, goto Settings » Canvas Parent » click [Force Stop]

Update Canvas Parent to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Canvas Parent App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Canvas Parent » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Canvas Parent.

Fix Canvas Parent unable to contact server/ Canvas Parent internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Canvas Parent » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Canvas Parent » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Canvas Parent
