First of all I have never written a review on anything but my experience with BUMP was so awful I had to warn others. I purchased 3 separate items from different sellers on BUMP and none of them shipped. I contacted the sellers multiple times to check up on the shipping and only one responded and then after that, they never responded again. I haven’t received any of the items and had to contact support to get a refund. I’ve also seen so many fakes and obvious scams such as sellers trying to use another form of payment instead of the in-app purchase system. Sellers also can post something for sale with out connecting a PayPal to their account. Why? If BUMP discourages using anything other than the in-app purchase system then why do they allow someone to post something with out anyway to pay them? I try to contact the seller and ask to connect a PayPal but the in-app messaging won’t allow you to send the word “PayPal” making it even more frustrating to purchase something. If you are looking for an app to purchase street wear on, go get Grailed. I’ve purchased many items from it and gotten immediate responses from sellers and easily paid for it. I’ve never seen a fake on Grailed and I don’t expect to. Their moderator are great at their job and take anything fake down almost instantly. Save yourself the headache and use Grailed instead.

I'm not one to normally write a review but this is something that can't be tolerated. I was selling a pair of off white sneakers and I had about a dozen people contact me but not one ever wanted to use the in app purchase system. So I finally said fine I'll try it. I received multiple fake "PayPal" payment emails that it was almost comical how many times I tried to get scammed and how not one person wanted to use in app purchasing. Eventually I'm guessing someone reported my account for selling fake items because my account was randomly banned and so when I tried to email this app to fix this issue. The only way they would even consider your item being real is if you had a receipt. Now that is not a bad way of checking if an item is fake or not but any reseller knows especially in the sneaker department that the most effective way of determining whether a shoe is fake is to inspect the shoe for obvious flaws and things that would give away it was fake (stitching, material, shape, tags, etc.) Note that I did not have a receipt because I received the shoes from my friend who is a reseller and did not have the receipt. this app then proceeded to ban my account permanently even though I offered to send pictures or whatever they needed. But because I had no receipt they automatically banned my account permanently. That, in my opinion, is lazy and ridiculous.

I used BUMP for about two months and listed three items in total. I had atleast 40 of people demand that I trade with them and ship first(obviously a scam). After this happened I decided to look for other options and listed my items elsewhere. I ended up selling two of my items on other platforms and marked them as sold on the this app app. Months after these items were marked as sold I sold another item for 1200$, less then four hours after that I was logged out, banned, and the sale canceled. I contacted support and went through a two week long process of emailing back and forth with a this app rep that obviously had no intention to help me out from the start. Through the process I was told I was banned not because of the item I had sold on this app but the ones not even for sale that I had got rid of months prior(side note- I have since communicated with the people that bought these two items and they vouched for the authenticity of the items). After a ton of dumb emails I was asked to provide authentication of the items and I did. To no response for a full week until I prompted the this app rep and all I received back was “your item is fake so the permanent ban stands”. All in all the community is very toxic, more likely to sell something fake or scam someone for a trade and the customer service is terrible at best.

I started using BUMP 3 months ago when all these famous streetwear fashion YouTubers started recommending this. I am pretty convinced that these YouTubers had a paid sponsorship gimmick to tell their audience that this was a trusted app when they haven't used BUMP for long or have direct contact with people on BUMP for long. I have encountered 5 scammers asking me to "purchase off app because their item selling was restricted". I've also been told by these same people that this app wouldn't allow them to change their PayPal account when you can clearly change it in the settings. My goodness BUMP blows my mind. You can't trust ANYBODY ON BUMP. I was convinced by this scammer to purchase off site because I had 4 of the other users tell me that they had the exact same issue changing their PayPal accounr. I lost $450 in the end and tried to talk to their customer support if I can do anything to even get my money back. Of course because it's within their guidelines that this was off app transaction they couldn't do anything about it. I'm never using BUMP again and I STRONGLY don't recommend this to anybody.

BUMP has NO serious buyers and is a pain to use. Buyers aren’t interested unless you’re willing to take 50%-90% off the price, even if you put “price firm” in the description expect to get lowball offers.

It is also not AT ALL female friendly - AND THERE IS NO BLOCK FEATURE?! I sell vintage menswear and some of the items I sell I wear for the photos (since I mainly use Depop and they encourage users to “model” everything). I’ve gotten several weird messages from guys either trying to hit on me or calling me fat/ugly (seriously, all just because I’m wearing a t-shirt in the listing photo lol). I’m not even able to block these people and instead I have to report them and hope their account gets suspended.

With all that being said, the interface is great and so is BUMP ’s support team. Items are easy to list and I love the “Mass BOOST” feature. But with the type of people who use BUMP, it’s not worth your time. I’ve NEVER had issues like this on Grailed or Depop and will continue to use those platforms instead.

I was talking to a buyer, trying to negotiate a price for a Supreme Hoodie that I didn’t want anymore. I was told that this is a great reselling app, but based on my experience it’s really not. I was logged out of my account while talking to a buyer, and was told that my account was restricted. They didn’t even tell me what I did or why I was banned from this app. My friend’s account got banned as well. There was no explanation behind restricting me or my friend. I do not recommend BUMP to sellers. Buyers are so quick to assume that your item is fake, and will harass you until your account is restricted. I also had ordered a few items on this account as well. I’m not even sure if I’m even going the get them now. I wasn’t refunded or notified if I would still be getting them or not. This is a terrible app and I don’t recommend it to anyone trying to sell. The community is toxic, the moderation is terrible, and BUMP overall is just a complete mess. I will not be using BUMP anymore, nor will I recommend it to anyone.

I want to start off by saying if BUMP wasn’t filled with scammers left and right then it wouldn’t be bad. Anyways, I put some shoes up for sale and within 3 days I had gotten like 10 people messaging me to buy them. NOT A SINGLE PERSON WANTED TO BUY THROUGH this app. They all made excuses that made no sense and wanted to pay outside of this app (obviously a scam). I told all of them that I would only accept payment through this app. I then decided to troll them and say I would comply only if they sent me the payment through PayPal friends and family. If they had agreed to it I wasn’t actually going to go through with it. Obviously, I didn’t think anyone would do it ( no one did) hence why I said it as a joke. Later on, it logged my out of my account and said I was restricted. I check my email and it says my account got banned for “requesting f+f payment”. What kinda annoys me is the fact that the people that were messaging me and ACTUALLY trying to scam people don’t get banned, but I get banned for trolling the scammers....

I have used eBay, Grailed, and many other apps that allow you to resell and buy items but none have had awful customer service like this app does. I contacted their support regarding the deletion of my old account so I could link my Facebook to my new account and without warning, they deleted both of my accounts. I tried contacting them and figuring out what happened and unfortunately they only respond once every day (you better hope you’re checking your email 24/7 or else you’ll have to wait another 24 hours for a respond from them). The worst part is they told me that the issues was fixed and I could log into my account by deleting and reinstalling BUMP . I tried this and it failed. It really seems like they have no idea what is going on with their own app. I do not recommend BUMP to anyone. Stick with any other app that is willing to work with you throughout the day and actually understands their app.

I’m over it at this point, to much back and forth when the solution (I had purchased something and never received the item), like the problem, is simple and clear, BUMP is good in a lot of ways but is also lacking when it comes to items being listed by inactive accounts, and then with claims, and also you should be able to leave a review of someone you interacted with regardless of if you purchased something. And because of those things I’m deleting BUMP .

Recap of what needs to change:

1.Items listed by inactive accounts should either be completely removed or taken down until the user becomes active again.

2.Claims should be handled more directly, not by several people parroting each other, granted there may be a circumstance where multiple team members are needed. Also don’t give me bot responses, your app users should feel of value.

3.Regardless of whether or not a purchase was made you should have the option of leaving a review of someone you interacted with, this not being an option allows people to be horribly rude, and many more expletives I’ll keep to myself. If this is put into place, and someone leaves a review you don’t agree with you should then have the option to file a case against it.

this app is like one of those things that you know is just going to blow your mind in the future, but isn’t yet there. As of now, they are still in their developing stage as an app and as a place to buy, sell and trade hyped goods. To let you know, they have input a lot of things that are very useful. Some of these things including chatting with other people, including this app employees, liking items, to let the other person know you like their item and to maybe purchase in the near future, and a unique feature, a boost effect, which boosts your listing up to the top of every single listing on this app, so it can be easily seen by other looking to buy stuff. There is much more, but those are the most important. I would like to see them work on making the this app community safer, but of course there will always be scammers.

At free using BUMP I was surprised with the good maintenance it has. I appreciate the work that the employees do and I love the selection it has. Also I’m glad that I can feel safe using BUMP safely without worrying about scammers. But I also have a recommendation on how the team at this app can make its app better. Many people through BUMP want to trade for items I have. I believe that if the this app team can make some kind of system where the buyer and seller can put in what items they are trading and both the buyer and seller have to confirm each other’s requests so that they can be safe. Also the items being traded have to be posted on their profile and if somehow someone gets scammed, the person gets refunded for the price they have on the item. If the people at this app saw this then I appreciate it and hopefully it is taken into consideration. I know it has a few flaws but I’m sure it can be made better.

So recently I joined this app to become a seller, but I got a lot of requests to trade. If I was to trade I was willing to ship first so people knew I was an authentic seller. It also gave me good feedback in the community which In turn pushed away scammers who tried to be discreet. However, I would do business with people and give them a rating, but they would flake. I don’t think there is a good way to delete ref that you’ve already given so I just let them keep and move on with my day. But now because of this ref someone left and flaked my account got banned. How is that something I could control. Now I’m losing money because I had pending deals on my account that I can’t finish because of this suspension

First off, this is the best marketplace app for buying and selling street wear and shoes that there is on BUMP store. I honestly don't know why some of the other reviews that were left are so bad. I have NEVER had any issues with BUMP . It is super simple and rediculously easy to sell as well as to buy. The additional "boost" feature is something I have never seen in an app before, and I love it. But the best feature about BUMP is the ability to message buyers and sellers. This really creates a interaction with someone that you don't see on many apps, at least to this high of a quality. The support team is absolutely incredible (especially my guy Ryan). They are always super helpful and respond to my questions within like 1 minute. Would DEFINITELY recomend downloading BUMP . Great experience.

I had an issue with logging into this app on my iPhone X, as every time I would shut BUMP and go to reopen it, it would make me log in from scratch. I emailed Jack, a dev of this app, and he emailed back within an hour, and pushed out an update to BUMP , which did not work. However, after emailing him again telling him that the issue was still present, he troubleshooted with me a little more and found that it was an issue with my account, as something was not correctly done by me. He fixed the issue, and I was instantly able to have BUMP function as it originally should have. A million thanks to him and the this app team! Also this app is hella lit, if you’re living under a rock and didn’t already know it lol

BUMP is fantastic. Not only have I made sales, but I did encounter one small issue. However, this is not a negative review. I want to share with you that my lil issue was solved in under 15 minutes!! You don’t get that on any other app. It’s a team of responsible and caring individuals over at this app, especially Ryan. Ryan helped me out a lot and solved my issue in minutes. Couldn’t be more thankful for you Ryan! Download BUMP with confidence because at the end of the day, you can’t beat the customer service on any other app. Wonderful. 6 stars if I could.

Sold some shoes about a month ago. Didn’t receive payout for some weeks... so I emailed “dymtro” from bump about the status of my payout and was given essentially the same messages stating they will look further into it but no real valid information about when I can receive it, this goes on for a couple more weeks and now they have banned my account for asking for my payout and I still never got paid the $350 they owe me. 10 thumbs down if I could give it.
