The motorbikes are always broken, always something bad or broken on them. Cooltra doesn’t work without wifi, works horribly on rooming data. The Customer Service is the worst I have ever had; you cannot talk to anyone only via text, and they don’t refund anything even if you had any problem with Cooltra or the scooter. They keep the money, they tell you to report the scooter and THAT’S ALL. There are thousand better apps lile Acciona, than this. After this I am deleting Cooltra and using others as it’s a waste of time and money to use this app….really really don’t recommend it at all
I had the worst experience with Cooltra. Not only did they not respond to the english customer service emails i sent, but when they did answer on their italian customer service address, they took 4 days just to tell me that because i don’t have a EU drivers license or International DL i can not use their app. Absolutely terrible customer service, if you have the option stick to another competitor like cityscoot, as they take foreign DLs.
I was really excited to see that there is finally a moped service in Rome and promptly signed up. Then when my account wasn’t being validated, I called customer support just to find out that even though US drivers licenses are accepted in Italy, eCooltra only accepts EU and International drivers licenses.
Although my location is on, it asks me activate the location and continue button does not work so that I can not register and use it.
All of my dreams of dashing around the city on one of these gorgeous Askoll bikes are ruined because this company doesn’t care about Portuguese rules.

I love/hate eCooltra.
The service is brilliant, scooters are good, customer service very friendly. Cooltra itself is horrible. It often fails, returns an error or takes much too long when it does work. It’s not uncommon for me to reserve a scooter and spend more time with customer service than riding.

Is a great product when visiting the city! If you look around a little you can find scooters that have discounts in out of the way areas (my stay was close to the edge of the boundaries)

Been in madrid for a 3 days vacation,i download Cooltra to be able to use the scooters around the city, its been more than 24 hrs and they havent allow me to use the service at all. At this point i dont need any approval anymore. Horrible.
