If you are successful and have many clients this app makes you pay extra for text messages. Don’t go over 160 characters or this app makes you pay. this app sends 2 messages per booking. And then another if it is new client. Sure you can pay for more. But I promise you that you will blow through them. I purchased 250 more messages and suddenly I had none after a week. Contacted them and same runaround. I love red my message count to 112 and still team out. Bought a year and not I am screwed. Can not get a refund because I am 4 months in. Used to work fine!!! this app offered to refund my money but I would have to go through the apple App Store. Guess what?!? Too much time has passed for apple. So I am screwed. I will NEVER recommend Goldie. I guess it is good if you only have 10 clients. Shame on you this app !!!

I use Goldie daily for scheduling clients for work… but for paying $10 a month it should include a few more things, especially the auto reminders.. Also sometimes Goldie has a glitch, almost like it’s froze up!??!? UPDATE…. I recently switch to the premium plan….. not only does it not send out the extra reminders…. however, they did try to fix it I think? But is ended up not working… On top of you only get 500 messages per month to be sent out via automated…. Anything more cost extra and won’t allow you to send out manually…. SERIOUSLY IT WAS THE ONLY REASON I UPGRADED TO THE PREMIUM!!!! I don’t have time for this especially running a salon with 7 workers, and having 2000+ clients of my own! I’m switching to square booking. Thanks for basically robbing me and having an app that only works half the time! 😐

I subscribed to Goldie for 1 month to test it out. I currently use another free app, but this app was recommended to me and I decided to buy it for just 1 month and if it met my expectations, I would subscribe to the annual plan. I really liked it, but the screen with the summary of services and the total is very confusing. The application does not detail the value of each service, showing the total outstanding balance. Instead, it shows all the services (without the values ​​for each one) and the total final balance. And you cannot know what was charged for each service. Sometimes we apply different values ​​for different customers. Anyway, the payment screen could be better structured, with the values ​​of each service and the final value. What's the use of the value of the variable in the service registration if I can't change it at the time of payment? I use Square Appointment and the payment screen is completely broken down by each service and its value, which can be changed at the time of payment.

I have had Goldie for 10 or so years now and I really have had no complaints at all. It has worked great. Other than upgrading and having to pay extra to finish out your monthly reminder but still, I cannot complain. So now I am back with my original plan and have been for 4 years I have had no complaints… But for the past 2 days I have had to delete and reinstall more than enough times to where I am so aggravated that I’m ready to delete for good… My complaint is - every time I open Goldie and delete or need to change an appointment it closes up, kicks me out and when I open it, it shuts off every single time… I don’t know why and it’s aggravating and if I cannot use Goldie without having to reinstall it every time I turn around then there is no use for me to have it any longer, so please fix this so I can continue using your app because it is great other than what’s going on right now

I have been using Goldie for a few months now. At first it was great. My husband and I own our own business and are always going in two different directions, so we needed a calendar that synced with any changes that either of us made. ***Note: I had to pay for this option. With an update they made we lost all syncing capabilities. I reached out to them, they never responded. They have since made other updates that have not fixed this issue at all. Then we received a message through Goldie that our calendar is still saved in the cloud. Excuse me! What good does that do me when our devices still don’t sync! I have tried logging out of both devices and logging back in, I have even deleted Goldie and reinstalled it hoping that this would resolve the issue. Nope! Even though it will update both devices they still don’t sync when changes are made. I will be looking into other apps as this is a vital part of business for us. Very disappointing.

UPDATE: So after about three months of trial and error they finally got to a solution for the syncing issue. The one thing I am still unhappy about is it took a negative review to get these guys on the ball. However once they did they were on top of it until the issue was resolved. The roll out with the this app app was smooth and now a year later I am still using Goldie . And I am happy to report I am very happy with it.

I’ve used Goldie for over two years now for my dog grooming business out of the vets office I work at to have the ability to make and see my appointments from home and I love it. It’s always reliable and the reminders are very nice as well as the ability to buy more texts if needed. I only have a few small improvements that would make Goldie perfect for me.

- The ability for appointments on auto rebook / auto recurring to be put on the free space of the next appointment day because things tend to overlap. I have to manually move my appointments that are rebooks because I’ll have several appointments overlapping at the same time.

- When looking at a next appointment for instance, I click it and then I have to manually go to that date in the calendar to view it from there and it’s very time consuming. A “view in calendar” button or something would be super helpful.

I like Goldie and am so close to purchasing the upgrade only because of the multiple messaging options. With the free version you can only send 1 message (instant confirm, reminder, after care) while the upgraded version allows all 3 to be sent. I just wish it would sync better with my Apple calendar. It does sync, but it’s not shared with family because it is placed under the Appointfix category instead of the shared family…if that even makes sense!! I also wish I could better color customize entries. The only color customization is the different appointment types. Other than that… do love the simplicity and ease of Goldie . I don’t allow my clients to book online so I cannot review that part. Oh…and I wish somehow I could customize the notes for the client. Like somehow add SOAP notes and every visit I could add notes for that visit.

Goldie started out as a really good app however they keep updating it and with each update it just isn’t as good as it used to be. If they would only give you the option to retain a calendar view you like and that works for you rather than just change the calendar view and then you are stuck with a change you hate. I have loved Goldie since I first signed up several years ago but with each “update” I feel they are ruining what was a really good app. And when they do issue a new update they just say improvements and bug fixes. I wish they would tell what the improvements are so you can decide on where or not you want to update Goldie to what they have decided are “improvements”. One thing that I do like is they are responsive to any issues you may encounter with Goldie . I just wish they would leave well enough alone!

I switched to this app from a competing scheduling app. I’ve stayed with Goldie for the ease of use and ability to understand my schedule at a glance. Having the ability to set specific services up with its own color makes it especially easy to understand how to coordinate my appointments. I have been happy with the updates as they have come available. This latest one is a bit frustrating but still usable. To send a message (as I use the free version) takes 4 clicks before sending, which is unfortunate. The recurring appointment has a definite end so be aware of that when doing standing appointments that you wish to continue indefinitely. I love being able to snap and send a pic of my clients schedule and they appreciate it as well rather than 1 appointment at a time. Overall I am very pleased with the this app app experience.

App worked perfect for years, now even though I’m paying for the Ultimate Plan, it’s is now not sending sms reminders as it should and have always done. Problem had been going on for about a month and a half & I’ve tried many things including deleting and reinstalling Goldie . I need this fixed ASAP, the automated reminders are a crucial factor/selling point of Goldie. Not having the automated reminder capability really puts Goldie in the same lane as the other appointment book apps, I meant that in no malicious way but simply giving my standpoint as a business man that uses Appointfix for all 3 of business. Hope to see a change soon. This being the only major problem, let alone problem at all besides random minimal crashing, I’d still give this a 4. Not a strong 4 but a strong enough for to still recommend to business associates.

I’ve been having this app for about 3 years now since 2020 when it used to be known as Appointfix, honestly I’ve seen Goldie grow and get better with each update , especially now since I can take deposits through Goldie and take payments with the tap to pay and the card reader , the only down side is that with my iPad I can’t take the tap to pay or connect with the card reader but I believe that’s just on my end but one thing that I would like to see improvements in would be being able to put cash deposits for when they prebook for the upcoming month when I book it manually, having card on file is optional and it’ll be 10x better if it was non optional to be able to charge for cancellation fee and being able to have a consents form/ required forms option that the clients need to fill out when booking the appointment but other than that it is an amazing app it has improved so much throughout the years and I hope they do add the 3 things I’ve listed to make Goldie a 10/10 experience

I have used Goldie almost a year now. For the most part it is GOOD. I have a deposit set for all clients, 50% of the service total. Sometimes I have to book a client here or there and it does not ALWAYS set the 50% for all clients and I have to go in and set it. This also happens with a client setting the appointment as well. It can be very frustrating for both the client and myself. I have to cancel their appointment and start over agin.

Then I have my payment payout account on file and it takes longer than it had been before. I should be able to change a card method in my account without it starting over and making me wait for 2-3 days with all transactions. For an example if I do a service on Friday I don’t get those payments til Monday. When before my payment come at the end of every day. That was the best thing ever. That ONE problem is almost worth going somewhere else. Ppl need their money and having to wait after getting used to getting it each day is frustrating as well. Just something to look into ESPECIALLY since getting paid daily was suppose to be an upgrade for us.

Ever since COVID happened, the amount of clients that I can see in a day is reduced and it is more important than ever that I avoid missed appointments/no shows due to clients forgetting their scheduled appointment times. This is where Appointfix has been a game changer. The instant notification when appointments are scheduled and the 24hr reminders have been just the answer to remind clients of scheduled appointments and gives me time to book cancellations with the 24hr notice. Since I started using Goldie , I haven’t had the problem of “no shows”. And the customer service is exceptional. I reached out via email about a problem I was experiencing with messaging and heard back from Danielle in customer care in 12hrs. The time I was given for correction of the problem was accurate and I was kept in the loop throughout the process. I really appreciated the speedy response and resolution... it’s icing on the cake!!

Showed our entire portfolio all last year with very few cancellations. Super easy to use features REALLY helped me stay on track. My office was also easily able put appointments on my phone app while I was driving or on a showing! I love all the new color shades for services that just came out! The color codes helped me to set up my day most efficiently when dealing with extremely tight time constraints. It also works with my Google and Outlook Calendars so that I can sync appointments from various sources.

The auto text reminders are AMAZING! (I highly recommend the Ultimate version because you can really customize your automatic texts.) With this feature, my appointments knew I was there for them; while at the same time, preventing no shows! In addition, I was able to keep detailed notes on each person’s preferences while scheduling the appointment with them over the phone. Goldie kept me on point nearly 100% of the time! It is the best tool ever for busy professionals on a tight schedule. I’m very much looking forward to another year using Appointfix!!

As a Auto mobile detailer i was looking for a scheduling app that would be easy to use easy to understand as i am a new to all this business world this app gave me a very great experience by allowing me to try pro at 50% off and let me tell you am hooked yes a couple things that would make the pro experience greater would be to get notified when its time to send the reminder schedule appt i know the fully automated does it for you but getting a notification for peace of mind would be a great add on feature i would love to know that my customers did receive their reminder or thank you after other than that am loving Goldie and look forward to being a this app customer for many years to come located here in the lovely state of fresno CA

So... so far, I been loving Goldie! For my little two business I have! However the only this that I am missing wish it would SO HELPFUL IS..... to check my client in or marked them as no show, or re-schedule them tracking! It’s very frustrating when I have clients that cancel or reschedule at the last minute and I am waiting for them and I miss a walk it client or had to turn them away. Then I don’t remember all the clients who’s been canceling or no showing up after a reminder was send to them. And at one point you just don’t want to keep this clients after 3 + of no shows or last min cancelations! But sometimes it’s hard to keep it up! Can you please ether add this futures in or fix Goldie to be able to used it! Thanks a bunch!!

I absolutely love Goldie more than any other scheduling your booking up. I’ve come across everything about it is perfect. The only thing that I would really really love to see updated or configured is with the online booking I wish we could input pictures of our portfolio. As for example on a dog groomer, and would like to put pictures of my work of my grooms for clients to see before they book appointments with me so they can judge my work based off of my portfolio and decide if they want to continue going further with an appointment or not I would really really really love to see the feature of being able to put pictures on our online booking pages

I’m not too fond of the update. I LOVE Goldie and don’t want to switch...but...after installing the latest update, I can no longer view my schedule by looking at the monthly calendar and that’s how I need to view it. I used to be able to read the appointment names, but now it seems that the text has gotten bigger or something and the names aren’t visible unless I am looking at the individual day and that is not easy when it comes to scheduling new appointments. Please fix!!! I pay $20/month for Goldie. The ONLY app I’ve ever paid for bc I love it so much...but this new update is a huge headache!!

I’m a self- employed dog groomer with ADHD, which makes keeping track of my appointments a nightmare! I needed something that I could always have with me, make new appointments quickly, and have simple and clear visual organization- and Appointfix delivers on all of these! I can easily make new appointments while I’m talking to my client (before I forget about it!) and I love that it saves my clients’ contact info so I don’t have to type it in every time! I also LOVE the visual layout of the calendar- I am not tech savvy at all, but it’s super simple to navigate, shows just enough information on each day to know what’s going on but not overload you, and even has “time off” and “personal event” options that I use all the time, so I don’t have to keep going back and forth to different apps to know my availability. I have only used the free version for a little less than a year now, and it has worked so great for me- I haven’t forgotten a single appointment yet! But I am considering getting Premium or Ultimate to check out some of their other features as my business is growing! There are so many other things that I love about Goldie, and I can’t recommend Appointfix enough for any small business/ self- employed person who needs to keep track of scheduling!

I tried enrolling in a couple of Goldies competitors (before finding this app) for automated text reminders for my clients to help free up some of my “off” time each week. I was promptly rejected from one because I didn’t have an opt in option and the other I never received an email so I could even set up my account! What a racket.
this app out performed them regardless! It offers so many additional features those other apps didn’t. Best part they send the opt in text for you!! Didn’t have to lift a finger. It easily integrated my extensive Apple calendar with no hiccups and importing client contacts was a breeze. I was able to select only clients instead of my entire contact list. - Thank you! I have been using it for a couple weeks now getting the hang of the process and working out the kinks (tech learning curve and plenty of user error but that’s on me lol). I am beyond impressed with Goldie. It’s very customizable and user friendly. Excellent product!

Update after 7 months of use. I still adore Goldie. The developers are integrating new features I have asked for! Now I can get income statistics day to day week to week ect which is so nice to have when budgeting. I can now mark apts as canceled or no shows and easily figure out my underperforming clients.
