I tried this on my fire tv with echo studio speaker. I love the selection of movies. The problem is when I have the volume on my echo studio set just right, a commercial comes on and the volume practically doubles. Then I have to scramble for the remote to mute the commercials. A lot of app do this and I appreciate the ad paying for the service. But this is the very worst I’ve seen it.
The increase in the volume when you go to commercials is absolutely horrible! It blasts me out of my chair and family members on the other side of the house are disturbed and disgusted! They all want me to watch anything but Fawsome! I have to watch with remote in hand and hit mute immediately when commercials start! Please fix - rating 1 star due to excessive commercials loudness!

First I would like to say this is a great app and good content. I really like Fawesome.
Now that being said please fix casting problems I haven’t been able to cast anything for several months. I have a iPhone 13max pro casting to Chromecast device . I have deleted and reinstalled Fawesome several times and it is always the same issue it doesn’t detect my device. I have another app made by the same group/ company as fawsome and I have no problem with streaming any of my other Chromecast inabled apps. I have checked settings over and over again. When I first downloaded Fawesome casting was flawless so I know it was working. I have tried to get help though customer support/ help line but no response to emails. Other than this issue Fawesome is very user friendly and has great content for my taste in movies,
I want to tap on a movie in hopes that some info on it it shown. No….it just plays. Why can’t they put in movie info like other apps? Well, they told me they will solve it with the next update. So I updated it now….and NOTHING. STILL no info on what the movie is about. Another oddity is when you watch a movie and it finishes another movie starts right up. I don’t want to watch it so I stop it. But then it is in my “Continue Watching” list. There is no way to remove it. I fast forward to the credits and lit it finish and then “X” it out. But then there it still is.
Just snapped the review rating to one star. They still have not really done anything. STILL NO MOVIE INFO ON MOVIES UNDER GENRE SECTION!
I do not like browsing titles like Children’s shows to teach them about Jesus or shows by Max Lucado grouped up with shows on Witchcraft Satanism and Lorno (Light porn) that children or Adults without knowledge of the harm these temptations and productions cause to view it. Not recommended if you have Children or are unfamiliar with the Word of God and are blind to the wages of Sin and the pain and harm it causes us and society as a whole. Not to be a prude or self righteous person for I too have to fight the battle we all fight and have to go to confession sometimes, but I know the harm sleaze erotica movies and dabbling in Witchcraft can cause and I care about human beings, especially children being protected and safe online and in the World we live in. I think it should be more focused. If people are seeking adult content I think it would be better kept in a special area or app for that purpose. Kind of lik how they separated those types of films in old Movie rental stores I think the same is best for online streaming services. Especially free ones easily accessible to children.
The menu system for Fawesome on AppleTV 4K behaves as janky as any I’ve ever seen. It often seems to have a mind of its own. It sure doesn’t move where I ask. I’d be embarrassed to submit something that fights with the users. The iPad app menu jerks around horribly even on an M1 with plenty of memory. Too bad. They have decent content, if you can find or select it.
Although there’s a section in Fawesome that describes how some states require the option to opt out of the selling of personal data to third parties, the links to those instructions do not work, and there appears to be no way to “opt out”. also there are no descriptions of any of the films when you click on a film. It just starts playing all you get is the front cover and the name.
For some ridiculous reason, neither Netflix nor Prime made one of my favorite classic Christmas movies available for streaming this December 2022 🙄 Prime suggested downloading this app, which I'd never heard of, to watch for free. I'm no stranger to free streaming services and their 'limited ad interruptions' which are usually brief, timed between scenes, no more than 3-4 commercial breaks per hour, and most services even feature some kind of countdown timer. this app is not one of those services. The ad interruptions are frequent, usually the same ads every time, occurring in the middle of scenes (even cable TV doesn't butcher programs to the point that it's painful to watch), and the sound volume of the ads aren't leveled with the program at all.. to the point that you're either adjusting the volume down or muting the audio completely during these frequent ad breaks - other users have consistently posted grievances about the ad volume over the past couple years.. still not addressed though. I'm not keeping Fawesome. There are much better limited ad streaming services out there, folks.. this app certainly.. isn't. 🤷🏻♂️
The reason being is because I can’t put movies or shows on a q. All Fawesome allows is browsing. Just browse & watch. You can’t put in a List to save. Also, in a synopsis of the movie or show it gives some symbol for the whole synopsis but it doesn’t work. Looks like the backwards arrow but all that does is take you back to the previous movie before it. You CANNOT read the whole synopsis of the plot. At least Tubi gives you the option to put the movies & shows you want to watch later on a save list. this app is just good. Not awesome. Very very basic. 🤷♀️ Well. It’s free. Can’t expect much.
The caption option might as well not even exist. The font is so small as to be unreadable. We should be able to choose the size, color and transparency of the fonts so they actually assist those persons who are visually impaired.
I’m sure there are others who would love to use your app but because if the inadequacy of the caption function you remove that as a choice for them.
Most every other major streaming services offers these options so I know you can as well. Or is it that you aren’t concerned at all about those viewers with visual impairments and disabilities?
this app is a doable option to avoid subscription costs, and those can add up quick.
It offers a good selection of movies. Some aren’t streaming elsewhere.
The issue is the volume of ads. Ads are acceptable when you’re streaming films for free, but this app has frequent commercial breaks, and they are longer than most other platforms.
For that reason, I don’t think I’ll be using Fawesome frequently.
I realize they have to make a profit, but fewer ads would lead to more users. The volume currently shown diminishes any suspense in a film.
Please note I am primarily watching this on my Apple TV and Fire Stick. You might want to include beta testers before your next release. It has the show that I want for free. Thank you! I’m absolutely fine with the ads. The concern is the ads are about five times louder than the actual episode. Each commercial is not consistent. I have to quickly turn down volume one because it’s way too loud and to keep from disturbing my neighbors during certain commercials as I stay in a condo. Also, I’m watching a TV series. Fawesome does not remember where I left off and Fawesome always starts back several episodes before where I am. I BingeWatch so it’s always a guessing game to find out which episode I left off of and need to watch next.
Fawesome performs well on my IOS device as I’ve watched 1 movie. It didn’t freeze or have 1 glitch. There was not add breaks in the movie. The selection is better than some and all in all has a fair amount of a selection to choose from. The quality is good and it is in my opinion a good one to have downloaded.
During these uncertain and financially trying times, paid streaming services are just not in the budget. I found this app looking for a free alternative and have not been disappointed in the least. Thank you for free entertainment with lots options; there really is something for everyone!
I liked it but I was looking for the purge movies and I couldn’t find any so could you please add some of the purge movies other wise it is a pretty good app and I have downloaded like 10 other ones just trying to find one so thank you and I do recommend Fawesome but please add some of the purge movies. this app has become my favorite movie channel. It has a large assortment of every genre plus movies you absolutely wouldn’t find anywhere else. I like it better than any other free movie channel, and the commercial breaks are shorter than all of the competition. Highly recommend checking this app out!
Compared to other free streaming services, this app seems to have less advertising and more content. The "catagory tabs" are helpful to quickly find searchable TV and film. I was surprised to find such a thorough and diverse selection. The this app app was worth the download.
I am very happy with the different selection of movies that they have the live television in the movies that you can pick yourself to watch I highly recommend Fawesome especially since it’s free and it is excellent!!!!

Today was my first time TRYING to watch movies. I say trying because I wasn't watching movies but watch commercials. And not only that they were all repetitive anti-Democratic MAGA commercial. SO THIS IS HELLO AND GOODBYE.
Recently downloaded the Fawesome app (August 25) because I was looking for some early Statham movies and it seems this was the only place to find them for "free". Weird that the ads are mostly for movies that they have in their catalog and not for anything else. So far, it has been easy to navigate and search and add to a watchlist and wasn't particularly problematic with the number and duration of ads. One drawback was that I couldn't find a way to set the playback speed or get closed captioning. If they don't likely offer. Not a big deal. I also like the fact that I didn't have to set up an account or register any information about me at all. Just started watching, adding things to my watchlist, which it remembered, and I was using a VPN without a problem.I suppose they somehow know some of it since I downloaded it from the Apple App Store. Final verdict: if you want a huge catalog of movies, some good old movies (like 'Wall Street' or classic Clint Eastwood westerns), and don't want to rent or purchase from other services, it's worth checking out. 🎬🎬🎬🎬 〰️ 4/5
Positive: excellent selection of shows, albeit I have same problem another viewer had. Faith categories usually means Christ-centered or uplifting movies. Not satanic or porn, etc. Put them all in their proper categories. That said, here's the negative: The commercials. I'm watching a movie & each break, always in the middle of a scene, & each one's 8 commercials, multiples of the same one. In fact at least once, 5/8 were the same commercial... all in a row! That makes me think this is simply a cash cow bc these folks gotta pay for ad time. It's such a ridiculous set up. Sometimes towards the end you might get 3 commercials. But when "ad" up all the ad time, a 90-min movie suddenly turns into a 2-2½ hr road to complete insanity. Somewhere's a bunch of folks got together & figured out how to make a fortune while duping viewers into thinking what a great deal. Free? Yes. But a potentially good site has chosen corporate grred. Don't get me wrong. I'm not against company profits. And if you have a gimmick that sells, well, the law of supply & demand comes to mind. I guess if you have a lot of stuff to catch up on, this gives you a lot of commercials to get those things done. I guess that's kinda ending on a positive note, eh. 🤔🤨🧐🙄🥸🤓🫠🙃
