I downloaded GoKidCarpoolOrganizer because it advertises that it can be integrated with TeamSnap and yet after I downloaded it there was no indication that I could have it connect to TeamSnap. The + icon on the bottom right off my screen simply allows me to set up a carpool ride and does not give me the option to integrate with TeamSnap option as it shows in one of the images.

Good concept but insanely buggy and unintuitive. I've been working with support in trying to join the group for my daughter's school for two weeks and it still doesn't work. Its probably one of those apps that needs to be blown up and rebuilt with more modern development and UX standards.

Another mom suggested we use this to help with our 5 kid carpool. I’m not a fan GoKidCarpoolOrganizer, 4 months into use. It’s cumbersome. It provides the basic function of organizing a carpool for all to see. But even with the paid subscription (don’t pay for it! Adds nothing) - the format is a never ending scroll of days. You can’t just search for you or your child in the schedule. The buttons to select or skip a ride are easy to confuse. There’s no way to lay this out as a calendar, can only scroll. The physical appearance of GoKidCarpoolOrganizer doesn’t help with easy reference for your child’s name or patents (as the user, or the passenger, my name should be a different color).

The other 4 moms feel it’s functional enough. I suspect they don’t dislike it quite as much as I do ( I have 4 kids, and can’t quickly pull up info at work without possibly misreading it; I’m looking for easier!). I feed a google spreadsheet is much easier & dynamic enough for our purposes. I’ll keep looking for a better alternative to introduce to the carpool. For now, I’m stuck with this!

There’s a glitch that shows a Google world map when opening GoKidCarpoolOrganizer (that you can’t exit out of). I have to shut GoKidCarpoolOrganizer down, restart it, then it shows the carpool info. This is happening to everyone in our carpool so it’s not just on my device. I submitted a support ticket but if it’s happening to anyone else, I urge you to do the same.
Otherwise GoKidCarpoolOrganizer works just fine for what we need!

Great app but it is way too expensive to use the full functionality. It is the same cost as teamsnap- which does way more and has a functional web site.
The free version could at least give push notifications and show messages within GoKidCarpoolOrganizer even if it didn’t send texts or emails.

What a great idea to connect families with our crazy schedules. We will certainly try and share with families.

Just started using GoKidCarpoolOrganizer which I thing is a great organization tool however it would be helpful to add an option in the profile for how many kids can fit in our car. We have some people only able to take three kids while others can fit more. I’d also like to see the option of choosing the carpools myself instead of automatically being added. Just some feedback! Great start!

App is super useful but I am not sure why there are so many updates required- almost every time I open GoKidCarpoolOrganizer

It’s done it’s job for our carpool, but there are glitches and times where we can’t log in. We would have to get out and start over again, or a day or 2 will will disappear in a week we’ve already signed up or unable to sign up. It needs some improvements, but for now it has helped 4 families to carpool.

I will say that the customer service for GoKidCarpoolOrganizer is great. There was a glitch when I first downloaded it and the folks at GoKidCarpoolOrganizer worked hard to fix it and stayed in constant contact.

So we use this for carpool to and from school. It would be nice if GoKidCarpoolOrganizer could allow a driver to indicate the number of spaces in the car so that you would know if you were at capacity.

Additionally, if there were a way to allow the drivers to alter the pickup times that would be helpful. As it stands, only the administrator can make those changes so one person has to be responsible for changes.

Outside of this, I have been happy with GoKidCarpoolOrganizer and its use thus far,

I’m not sure what I did before discovering GoKid, and can’t imagine coordinating life with multiple kids in multiple sports without it. You’re missing out on an easier & better way to stay coordinated and organized if you haven’t tried it!

I have used GoKid now for over a year for gymnastics carpools and I love it. It helps us coordinate rides among 3 parents for drives 4 times a week. We could never have managed as easily through text or email. We get automated messages when someone picks up a ride or when a driver is needed. Definitely a lifesaver for carpools.

GoKidCarpoolOrganizer has been a lifesaver for our middle school carpool. Everyone’s schedules change on a daily basis. This is a great and easy way to stay organized and communicate effectively. Bonus! They have excellent customer support should you ever have to ask a question.

It’s sooo nice I can be finally calm about who is driving my kid after school! And I’m happy to volunteer driving whenever I can as well! GoKidCarpoolOrganizer is easy to use, love reminders most of all, and the sync with my google calendar. Great product, way to go, GoKid!

We are huge fans of GoKid! We have several carpools going that get my kids to the right places and the right times! It’s so user friendly. Pushing a button rather than having to call 6 different people because of a time or driver change is the absolute best. Thank you for helping keep our life so organized!

We had some issue how to organize the transportations for my son’s basketball team to trainings and game nights. But GoKidCarpoolOrganizer is helping a lot. The customer support was great and help me a lot with my questions. Recommending it for everyone.

After school activities aren't a burden when the rides can be shared. Quick carpool setup and easy to use interface. Can't wait for live tracking.

This is the best kid carpool app around. It could use some tweaks to make it more user friendly to set up and to use. We set up a carpool Group Me to communicate then use GoKidCarpoolOrganizer for the schedule.

Our hockey carpool (5 families) has used GoKidCarpoolOrganizer for 2 years. It makes it very simple to schedule rides and determine who is driving. It’s great for set pick up and drop off times. When we have had any questions, the support team helped right away! GoKidCarpoolOrganizer is so much better than having to text and email to make ride decisions.

My family has been using GoKid for a carpool to morning choir. I can see right on GoKidCarpoolOrganizer if it is my turn to drive and who I am picking up that morning! The list of carpool dates are shown in a very organized fashion, which is so helpful for a busy parent who is rushing to get out of the door for early morning choir rehearsal!

GoKidCarpoolOrganizer has been so helpful with sports carpooling. Easy to set up and navigate GoKidCarpoolOrganizer . Helpful prompts. Round trip and one way options. Also offers route suggestions! Highly recommend!
