Dunzo: Grocery Delivery App Reviews

I happen to assign a task, after making the payment upfront. Some guy was assigned the task, in Dunzo there is a section, which shows the status of task given. The this app partner didn't even come to pickup the stuff, but updated in Dunzo that the pickup has been done and also delivered. Where as the parcel was still with me.
No there is no customer care number to contact them, the chat support is one of the worst, no reply to my multiple messages, even after 24 hours. Use Dunzo cautiously, better if it can be avoided. Am thankful that the money wasn't that much, but what if the this app partner vanishes with my stuff, updating as delivered.
Not trustworthy . Gave one star, coz there is nothing less than that. They don't deserve to be listed on Dunzo store.
Very unethical service provider. No sense of responsibility.

After several enormous problems, including one threat to my wife, I am leaving this review. this app has consistently failed to take ownership over serious issues.
My wife was recently threatened by a delivery agent over a miscommunication over an order.
I then immediately contacted support, and wrote an email to a senior product manager at this app, and neither of them replied back. Somehow the this app executive was even able to acquire my wife’s phone number and called her several times with a threat.
Just shameful.

And now today we experienced another issue with a delivery executive - and this app support was neither available for the delivery executive nor my wife. So we again we are stuck in a situation where a restaurant has made an order, the delivery executive is trying to call support, and my wife does not want to food that has been sitting for over 40 mins.

Honestly the amount of grief we have experienced with this company and their clear negligence with customer concerns makes them a miserable business.

It’s sad because I know the founders of this company. I’m sincerely disappointed that they let a good thing go to waste from all of these scaling issues.

There are a lot of reviews related to this app which have been shown in the recommended section of the reviews or AppStore however those reviews are 2 years old.

Of course this app had its fair share of problems back then but it has improved its customer service and app way better than I had expected. I don’t understand people have time to write down negative reviews but when the problems have been fixed why don’t they care enough to update the review to 5 star ratings ?
Why so much of hate towards these e-commerce apps ?

These guys are so terrible. They made me wait a month and half regarding my concern and still couldn’t resolve it. Why run a company without necessary customer support. I’ve had to elaborate my issue at least 10 times and they ask the issue each time. The issue/query is closed without a chance for the user to respond right after their unsatisfactory answer. They take like 10 min for each answer during a chat. It’s not like one can just wait for them with an open app for 10 min. Overall I uninstalled Dunzo without ever activating it. This company should be sued for negligence.

I order whatever I can from this app because it's cheap, reliable and the delivery personnel are really helpful with making sure you get your specific items. Highly recommend it for anyone who is a busy bee and needs a little help with getting chores done.

I have given unstructured tasks and they have been able to execute with finesse. I wish the maps were more integrated with the level of detail available in google maps

Several times I ordered items, made the payment and got confirmation from person carrying order as well as got items delivered, but still app remains stuck on this order showing payment is pending.

I use this app for delivering many items. I always get what I have ordered. The people who deliver are polite and know how everything works. I can pretty much get anything want in the city in a reasonable amount of time without much hassle. So happy to have this service.

After latest update when there is a ongoing order, when we select to track it it only shows past orders in random order. Unable to get hold of current ongoing order

Love Dunzo for its simplicity and ease of use. Awesome idea to either deliver grocery, medicine or just everyday things. I wish it could be expanded to include delivery of bigger items like wheelchair, bicycle or mattress.

I’ve been using this app for close to 5 years now and they have been nothing but the best. Thank you for such a thoughtful initiative. You make our life easy 🤍

this app makes staying at home a great experience. I can get anything I want delivered and send special packages to my friends and loved ones too.

It would be nice if multiple drops could be booked in one delivery. Please include that option.

Easy to enter addresses and the actual delivery guys are also very professional and prompt . I use this app to move work documents too. Thanks for the great service so far ..

They are prompt in their service and will ensure you get a driver within minutes, the drivers are well trained and are aware of the Hyderabad roads. Fast and reliable service. Thank you this app team for the excellent job!

App hits a sixer on all fronts. Fast loading, quick selection of products, quick payment process. A absolute delight to use.

Used Dunzo once to deliver food. What a terrible experience. Never going to use it again. Took 1.5 hrs for the delivery and it was very close to us. After I paid the service center of Dunzo did t process the payment or called the delivery guy to tell him to go ahead. That guy stood there for 40 mins and I was messaging the service for that time with no response. By the time the food came my guests already left. Never using Dunzo again.

It was a life saver during Covid times….. cannot think of any negatives…. Delivery always on time infact fast delivery even during rainy seasons… thanks for the great service…

Super useful way to buy local stuff get things done in places like Bangalore and Pune and hopefully across India soon... smooth design and dunzoX subscription is a nice touch.

Not sure how folks have rated 5 stars. Zero customer service that will close the support issue without any resolution. U end up paying and not getting the work done. No refunds provided.

One if the most comprehensive grocery delivery apps I've used. Promot deliveries and great service as well. Dubzo is a superstar app in the making. Proud user :)
