Please add notifications to the iOS app when I’m added to a project or assigned a to-do! No in-app settings for platform notifications on iOS? Why? ALL notifications are enabled for Hightail from my iPhone settings, and I don’t even care about the ones for spaces and files. What I NEED are mobile notifications for the Projects and To-Dos. Honestly NOT sure how this functionality was overlooked in the first place.

Can’t send a file on Hightail . It’ll only open photos on iPhone. I guess I have to grab some crayons and draw a picture of what’s in the legal documents or PDFs I want to send from my iPhone? Who’s idea was that? Make them go peacefully protest somewhere so a barbarian hoard of cops and federal agents beats them half to death.

The desktop app is so good though it makes up for the inability to do do anything via mobile. I just have to wait to work from home. No big deal...

It allowed me to download maybe two files I was sent from my photoshoot, before making me create an account. And then I was forced to download Hightail to download anymore. I was allowed about three more before the option disappeared completely. Useless without a computer which I do not have handy.

Google drive is cheaper and you can actually access all your files with the Google Drive app. The this app app is very limited, you basically need a desktop computer to send all your files and set expiration dates. If they updated Hightail to allow all the features this app offers I will come back, but for now I am canceling my subscription.

I’ve been a customer since YouSendIt and have never had an issue with security. However your app is badly designed. The incapability to be able to send a file from your folders in Hightail completely defeats Hightail ’s purpose. Please fix this. It is annoying and counter productive to I am sure, many other customers.

Don’t bother if you plan to use on a mobile device or share with others that will need to access on their phone or tablet. The compatibility and format of both the website and app are awful unless you’re on a desktop or laptop. I paid the full monthly subscription but it changed nothing.

I was supposed to use Hightail to download photos onto my iPhone of my senior photoshoot. I’ve been trying now the past two days to login using my account that I already have with my Google account. It won’t work so, now I’m lost and have to probably use my computer making it more work for me.

I got sent a link with my wedding photos to this site. Not only is the website awful on an iPhone but Hightail is even worse - can't link and view the workspace sent to me inside Hightail . It keeps wanting me to create my own workspace. Useless. Will have to download all the photos to Dropbox or something else to view them.

It wouldn’t even allow me to make an account. I repeatedly received notifications saying “account failed. Try again.” When trying to use the browser version to launch files I was sent, the page bugged and failed to launch my files over. And. Over.

I can’t login using my existing ID and password, I can’t set up a new account because the create account button never becomes active, and I can’t recover my old password because the button to do that never becomes active either.

Was forced to download Hightail to send some files. After spending a lot of frustrating time trying to figure out how to use Hightail I ended up using the website instead which was much more user friendly. Hightail doesn’t show all of the options like “sends”.

this app’s service is great. I use the web app and only use the iPhone app occasionally. I’m moving more and more of my work to the iPad.

While the this app apps shows up in “iPad Only” searches, it isn’t an iPad app. It’s an iPhone app that works on an iPad, but it doesn’t support use of the full iPad screen and it doesn’t support landscape mode.

It also doesn’t support the latest APIs for iOS 13 or iPadOS 13 (keyboard shortcuts, native keyboard password integrations with 1Password, etc.)

Please consider updating the this app app to support iPads natively.

Works great on desktop and mobile. Share and store large files.

Perfect for view sheet music charts.

i’ve used this app for years and as I travel more and more find it necessary to be able to manage files from my ipad. the iphone app just doesn’t cut it anymore.

This is a terrible app! I have been trying to access a file and it’s requiring me to reset my password over five times. I still can’t access the files. The website barely works and it does not have a help feature.

It’s been years. Hightail is still missing functionality, and the website does not scale for an iPad. It’s time….

Always have to go back to the computer. Should give zero stars but I’m a happy customer when on laptop. Someone should fix Hightail.

Have made several attempts to close mag account! Unable to connect with customer service both by telephone or on Hightail . I have another yearly charge and haven’t use this service for 3 years! Warning ..

I’m totally heartbroken!! I have had an important file for over a year that allegedly had no expiration date. It was in my file yesterday and gone today. I have emailed customer service but no response.

this app is a extremely useful site. Hightail isn’t bad - on an iPhone. It’s useless on an iPad. I guess they assume you’ll use a web browser.

I’m happy with Hightail ., I’m not experiencing any difficulties. It’s easy to use.

Looks more like a social sharing app then a professional data sharing. Hightail doesn’t load or allow you to manage much. shame.

Hightail is horrible. I can’t even log in. Once I start Hightail and tap on the log in box Hightail closes immediately.

Can’t even send an audio file to a client! What a joke!

Hightail used to be a 5 star treasure. Now it is just junk. It has been so long since they have updated Hightail that it doesn’t even work with the current IOS in IPhone. I had to access Hightail through Hightail Store but you still can’t update, on run virtually through the store. Stored files are in no logical order, not alphabetical or any other way of organization that I can see.

this app was a fantastic company 5 years ago. I sent files to clients from the Highlands of Scotland back then. Now it is a tedious experience using Hightail and website and this app is truly the worst in customer service. I was overcharged on my account for 4 years and it took leaving a VM on the president’s phone to get a call back from CS. They rectified it, but come on!

Bottom line: don’t open an account with this app. I have 10 years of files stored there so an kind of held hostage.

I'm an audio professional who has used this app for years. I have an extensive folder system built on this app's servers with audio files for my clients. With this new app I can no longer play files from my folders on my phone. I can no longer seem to even send out a file from my phone. Hightail only wants to access my photos when I ask to send a file. It no longer accesses my folder library. All the simple useful features I ever used are no longer functioning... Access my folders, play a file, send a file. What kind of file sharing app doesn't do this?? I had all this functionality before but now they've incredibly taken away all the features I need. Why!!?? Be aware, this is now a photo sharing app, not a file server app! I don't need this!! App is now rendered useless to me... 0 stars

I mainly use Hightail for sending one off audio files (I’m a record producer). With the previous version, I could go to a folder, find the song I wanted, copy the link, and send that link to someone so that they could download the file. Now, with these spaces, I can’t do that from the phone version, (and it takes extra steps on the PC version). On the phone version, I can access my folders, but when I click “send files”, it only allows me to access photos and videos on my phone! I can’t send files from my this app folder (or if I can, it is totally non-intuitive on how to do it). Maybe I need to switch to Dropbox or something else. The old version on this app was 5 stars, this version is 1 star...

As CMO, I always have dozens of visual projects (web designs, ad creative, video production, etc.) in the works all at once. Providing timely feedback on all these projects is a pain, especially if I’m traveling. Hightail lets me do it all on my iPhone. Super easy to just click on the image, add my comments, and know that it will get back to the designer so I’m not the one holding things up. Love it.

I'm a long time paid subscriber of this app and ever since "Spaces" popped up, everyone I send mp3 files to via this app has problems, is Spaces intended to replace this app's file sending functions? - there are no instructions that I can locate, but the 2 applications seem to want to be co-mingled, but neither works? What the heck is spaces and why doesn't regular this app work for sending mp3 files anymore? Insane... Please just make this app work for sending MP3s again and leave it alone. (they're still easy to send except the recipient can't get the file to open and play unless they are also a paid subscriber... I think, please explain.

I would have expected Hightail to mirror somewhat closely the online version.
What is missing for me is the ability to forward or resend files that I sent from my computer workstation. It only allows sending data resident on the phone. I have to use the browser version to use all its features. Maybe that is the point but, the earlier version of Hightail had much more functionality. Having the ability to not only track, but manage sent files would be so convenient on a phone.

New update isn't the greatest imo but overall I like it. If we had the ability to name spaces when uploading and had an upload status bar or something of the like, we'd be cooking with gas.

I have used this app on my computer for years. Best and easiest way to send large files. I needed to send a movie that was on my phone. Far to large to email or text. So, I downloaded this app and used that. Easy! The iPhone app is as easy to use as the computer app.
