this app was chosen as the photographer for a hockey tournament . I paid in advance and didn’t see any photo’s. When I reached out, they told me there were still two games left and photographer would be there. I reached out several more times and still no photos. Finally, several days later, I received three not so great pictures of almost the same exact shot. I reached out again and they told me they would refund my money. That doesn’t change the fact that I missed out on photos of this year’s event because I was told to relax and let them take the pictures. I am so unhappy. They acted like it wasn’t a big deal at all. I hope the tournament goes back to photographer that was used in prior years because this was an absolute failure. We always get the team package and get amazing shots. I don’t even have a team picture now because I have not seen it and because I don’t trust it to be decent, I refuse to send this app money to buy it. I am going to look into reporting them to the BBB because of the complete failure of providing what was promised.

I attended an event, paid the week of event prior. I received 3 photos of my daughters face BEHIND some other person at Saturdays small classes and never received any other pictures of her at the actual event like i was suppose to. When reaching out i was told that im suppose to reach out to the actual event organizers which as i already knew no actual communication. So very disappointed that i paid $40 and got nothing. The photos from Saturday are not even available to see even tho again it was just her head behind another girl.

Waldo took awhile for the face recognition to work. Our kid is at camp, it was 3-4weeks in before Waldo found him consistently. So we were looking through all the photos to find him ourselves. Now at 5 weeks the tag feature is turned on but you actually can’t tag. And on my iPhone, I get notifications that it’s found photos but Waldo crashes as soon as I launch it and so I can’t see any of the pictures. This is still the case after 2 app updates. I want to see my kids pictures. Please fix this. This isn’t a cheap service for it to be failing so often and lacking generic features.

Waldo was bought to be used only while my two granddaughters were at camp, so that I could enjoy following their time. Several but not all pictures were captured of my oldest. But I only had nine photos for my youngest and some of them were not even her but some kids I didn’t even know. Monomer were added for her past the first day. This had nothing to do with mask wearing as most of the time they were not on. I was okay with the oldest granddaughter picture finding, although I found many pics Waldo did not find; but a waste of my money trying to get pictures to see of my youngest granddaughter. I wish I hadn’t bought this as I had to scroll through all of the camp pictures pics anyway to find all of their pictures. Do not recommend.

App has worked great in past years this year however, having frequent freezing issues when i go to tag photos and it not recognizing face as well as it has in years past despite probably having best photo yet to go off of. Also should give troubleshooting recommendations from within Waldo .

I like the overall concept, but there are a couple bugs. If you click the profile option, it makes you create a new student each time. It does this online too, and I don’t see a spot where you can click sign in or sign in again. Maybe I’m just not seeing it, but it is a little frustrating.

So day 2 of camp and Waldo has yes to find any pics of my children. I can find them myself on the camp website but this app is not finding any. Don’t waste your money - oh and there is no way to contact customer service on Waldo to complain or ask for a refund.
Update: well took 48 hours after pics were posted but it finally pulled some up. Great to have them. Sooner would be better for an a Lois parent!

This is amazing software that finds pictures of your kids at camp. Sometimes there is a delay (perhaps a day) for photos to get sent you, but be patient and they will come. Be sure to click the link in your text to see everything -you don’t get a text for every picture that is found. This has saved me so much time and my forearm is not sore from scrolling through 1000’s of pics a day (my daughter’s camp posts about 2000 a day). Definitely worth it!!

I love getting texts that my daughter has been spotted at camp. It’s always so much fun to see what she’s up to. However, I still find myself scrolling through the hundreds of photos each day because some of hers were missed by this app. Also, I received some false alarms—the faces found weren’t actually my daughter’s. There doesn’t seem to be any way to delete those photos from our album. Great idea, but given that I still need to scroll through all the photos, I miss the free system that our camp had.

I love being able to watch my grandbabies at camp. It’s almost like being there. This is their 3rd year and really being able to see them enjoying themselves is such a blast. Technology making life fun. I know this also makes their parents feel good being able to see the kids happy and safe.

Waldo is great if you don’t want to scroll through hundreds of photos to find the three or four of your own child. Their face recognition technology is spot-on, too. If you provide a clear, well-lit photo of your child, this app does a great job at finding his/her face among even large crowds. I love it. We buy it every year when our son is at camp. At his camp, half the cost goes back to camp as a donation, so that makes it even better. :)

love Waldo and have had great success with it this summer. sometimes it misses the kids if they are faced a weird direction or they are way in the back and small which is understandable
i have ordered postcards from here. i wish there was a way to see what i ordered and if they were actually mailed. i won’t know until my camper gets home.
this is a great app IF the photographer uploads the photos. i see lots of negative reviews but mostly due to someone not uploading enough photos. that has nothing to do with Waldo .
i love the notification settings and how easily i can download and send to our family.

After looking through 1000s of camp pictures over the last 13 years - my nights are no longer spent scrolling through endless shots in the hopes of catching a glimpse of my kids! Thanks to this app - I can see my girls at a moments notice! Yes, it’s great to be able to see all camp shots - but SO nice when I just want a quick check in at the push of a button!

If you’re looking for an app that delivers every photo of your child whether or not they are the focus of the photo, then this is your app.

The title reflects the fact that when you upload a decent photo that can be used to build an ideal model for pattern matching your child’s biometrics you will see pictures that you might not want to see.

But the product works doesn’t it?

this app is such a great name for Waldo , and it is so easy to access someone you are looking for. I used to look at hundreds of pictures each day to find a few pictures of my granddaughter. It was especially difficult during the time I was employed. I simply didn’t have the time. Now I see her instantly and the experience is so rewarding‼️👍🏻👌🏼😊

I love Waldo!!! The facial and jersey recognition is super cool. Makes creating a common album for events really easy and sharing with folks with different types of phones. Slideshows and group videos are really cool too. Hats off to the this app team for creating a great photos and video sharing app!

So easy and simple! My daughter's camp used this over the summer. It's genius! It identifies your loved one and sends a notification of the picture and saves it to an album!! No more looking thru thousands of photos!

My only question is why isn't every school, gym, marathons, fun runs, mud runs, charitable organization using this amazing app!

What an awesome app! First time mom having my son attend a 2-week away camp and there are already over 5,000 photos that have been taken, with a couple days to go. One mom told me last year she had to scour all the pictures each night to see her son. The camp offered this app this year, so it finds all his pictures for me, and notifies me when a new one has landed. It is super easy and it hasn’t missed any (I checked just in case haha). I recommend getting Waldo any time it’s offered!

this app didn’t exist when my daughter first started camp and it was a nightmare scrolling through thousands of photos daily. this app has been incredible since it’s inception and I have used them every year. Their customer service is excellent. One year I was not receiving photos. They immediately responded to me and advised me to try other photos, which immediately solved the problem and they picked up all photos from previous days. Don’t think, get this app. It’s a small price for the joy of receiving texts saying we have a photo of your child, immediate smile!

I’ve used Waldo for a bridal shower and a wedding. It’s amazing to be able to see everyone’s photos. I had an issue with my wedding album and this app support is the best. They figured out my problem quickly. I highly recommend for family parties.
