No instructions on what or why you are doing anything... will not use, defeating it after this review.
I like that Strongbox does not collect my info on one of their servers somewhere. It added all the accounts I wanted easily. I like the ability to require a passcode/Touch & face ID to unlock Strongbox . Would like to see more visual options and different layouts as I have more than 4 2FA accounts and beyond that the codes don’t appear unless you scroll. Functionally great, visually very bare bones like Google Authenticator. Some colors would be nice, take advantage of OLED screens. Also, a backup option in the case a phone is migrated to a new one would make things easier.
If you could just add an iCloud backup option, you’d get 5 stars.
Developer is attentive and responded quickly to my issue! Strongbox is simple, clean, effective, and does exactly what it is supposed to. As of version 2.0.2 I have changed my rating from 1 star to 5 stars!

I can’t find contact information for the developer right away. So here’s my problem:
-New user. Downloaded and ran just fine.
-Scanned first QR code, got first authentication numbers.
-watched authentication number roll over, then used new number on web site. Worked perfectly.
- set phone aside. Did other things.
- went back to phone to launch app again - problem! App appears to launch, get this app blue splash screen, then it goes completely black, then I am returned to main iPhone screen.
- tried force quitting all apps and launching only this app. Same pattern of splash screen, black, return to main iPhone launch screen.
- tried powering down and back up iPhone. Same pattern.
I have an iPhone X, 256 GB (196 GB free), iOS 11.4
Please help quickly. I need this 2-factor authentication to work to let me back into this one site for a work related form.

I was looking for an auth app that didn’t require an account to use it and that allowed for locking. Strongbox satisfied those needs and does what it needs to do. It’s also well designed and quick. I’ve only used it for a day so I’ll update this review if I find faults but as of right now it’s a great choice.
