5 Stars Hands Down! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I absolutely LOVE Nirvana! It is the PERFECT supplement to “Getting Things Done” by David Allen and it also the perfect supplement to my very own physical real world inbox and ticker file. I use Nirvana to run my small business more than any other app on my phone. Those NEXT ACTIONS are CRUCIAL to my RGA’s (revenue generating activities) in Wholesaling real estate. Nirvana even helps me make sure I’m completing all my online training at Real Estate World Wide. I absolutely LOVE IT. The customer service/support is also VERY VERY quick and responsive in correcting any technical conflicts with the upgrade. And Nirvana is VERY well worth the upgrade if you have read the book that goes with it. Great work! 👍🏽

Great GTD solution, but no native feel

this app is the best of the GTD options out there on the web. It adheres very closely to the GTD philosophy and lets me get through my tasks with minimum effort. The pricing is quite reasonable too.

Unfortunately, I have to take off one point because Nirvana feels more like a website than a native iOS app at times. I could deal with the clunky animations, but the lack of support for subtle things like going back by swiping in from the left side of the screen still catches me from time to time. A full rewrite isn’t necessary, but more attention to platform conventions would be appreciated if they’re not going to go the native route.

If you use the web version, Nirvana is a great companion. If you only want something for mobile though, you may want to look at other options with better mobile offerings.

My favorite todo app

I’m a big fan of the GTD workflow. And, I have the challenge of needing something that works on iOS and Windows. Omnifocus is a very nice app, but has no real Windows compatibility. My options for real GTD apps for both platforms are pretty limited.

One of my favorite features of this app is the ability to snooze todo items. Keeping my view focused on what is actionable is very helpful for me. I would love some additional polish on the iOS interface, but any glitches I’ve found don’t bother me much.

I want it to be my go-to

There is so much that this app does right, but a few things that keep me from using it over Things or Apple Reminders. First, there needs to be a faster way to enter tasks in (ie Siri). GTD says you need to get ideas out of your head when they arrive. Right now I can just activate Siri and say “remind me to do x” and it’s in my inbox. Second, this app needs to be in the share sheet so I can share to it from other apps. Lastly if there could be an option to repeat tasks based on when they were checked off instead of a hard date, that would be fantastic.

Almost Perfect GTD App

this app and Things are the two best GTD apps on the market. It follows the philosophy and execution of David Allen’s book Getting Things Done very well. GTD has been an the best task management strategy for me. I recommend this app, Things, and GTD.

Side note: this app has no Mac or Windows app but works through a browser on desktop. Things has a Mac app but no Windows app and doesn’t work through a browser. If you use Windows, Things won’t work for you. This is why I switched from Things to this app.

6 stars

I've spent the past 6 months testing out dozens of task management platforms, to help me organize my life (I'm a full-time college student working 3 jobs).

Until recently, no platform was robust enough to streamline all my lists, tasks, reminders, appointments, notes, and calendar events.

I came across this app recently. After poking around the desktop version under the free subscription, I knew this was the one. I found myself buying the lifetime subscription ($49) shortly after.

The price is actually pretty good for what it can do. As mentioned in an older comment, it's not that intuitive at the beginning. But I found their website's user guides to be extremely clear.

If you need an app for simple to-do's, etc, don't waste your money here. But if you are a serious GTDer, it's worth every penny.

Best all-round GTD app

I’ve tried them all, and I keep coming back to this app. It is the most elegant GTD app out there (with cross-platform support). As I’m a Windows guy, I can’t use some of the task managers out there that only support Mac and IOS (this app has a great web app as well).

The only reason I won’t give 5 stars is Nirvana is updated very rarely, which makes me slightly concerned about the longtime viability of the service.

Also, the only missing feature I would like to see is tighter integration with calendars - Google Calendar and Office 365 to name two.

Great app to implement GTD

this app is a great way to implement GTD into your work and life. The phone app is a nice complement to the web app, which is where I get most of my work inflow processed. If you do not know what GTD is, then you need to start there, but if you are familiar with GTD, then I would highly recommend that you give this app a look. Start with the web app, as it plays very nicely with Gmail. Then go ahead and add the phone app after you get comfortable with that set up.

Best GTD app

This is the only application I’ve seen implement GTD in a fantastic way. It is quite simple, minimalist yet powerful in its functions.

Works on iOS and the browser is fantastic. Additionally I faced no problems when editing offline as it synced the information that was new from my other device while not deleting that information which was added.

Beautiful application, only complaint is that it would be great if you could have shared accounts so people could work in groups and within my startup I have to unfortunately use Asana because of this.

Regardless, great app! Plus the payment of one time is reasonable and nice on the mind for not having to think about it once purchased. Thanks this app team, you made a gem!

Designed for GTD

There are so many great to-do and productivity apps out there, but all of them take some wrangling to work for GTD. In the end, you feel frustrated for not using your tool of choice in the way it was meant to be used.

this app is perfect. It matches GTD exactly — no more, no less. If you practice GTD, you must give this a try.

Best Minimal GTD System

I’ve got nothing but praise for this app. This is a great GTD tool because it doesn’t over complicate the system. It’s easy and quick to use, the filters make it decluttered, and I’ve never had a bug or crash. If you’re looking for an easy-to-use system to keep focused and productive, this is a fantastic option.

Very Impressive, Polished App

As a productivity junkie, I have tried many GTD / task manager apps that are available either on the web or on Nirvana Store. This may be my favorite yet.

Every time I think of a potential wrinkle or potential issue, I am delighted to see that the developers have already thought of it and designed a solution.

Ultimate Task List

I completely rely on GTD + Nirvanahq. I don’t normally leave reviews, but this is a well built app, always reliable, and is essential for staying organized for my job. I’ve been using for over 2 years and have always been satisfied.

Get this GTD tool!!!

Long time GTD follower. This is the tool to get. I’ve tried them all, but this has everything including a web browser version that makes life easy when managing complex tasks. Reasonably priced.

Just right

I have been searching for nearly 2 months for an app that will help me keep track of all the tasks that have been assigned to me in my new position. Having tried a dozen or so popular apps, I have settled happily on this one.

Fits GTD very well

Fits very well for GTG personal users! The web app is also very responsive no lag between actions and even had keyboard shortcuts. App is very good too and support is responsive! Already moved all my tasks here from my previous system

Brilliant

After trying several apps, spreadsheets, calendars, and paper notebooks, I've found this app to be my most effective GTD implementation tool. Always available online and on my phone. Please make a macOS app, then this app will be a flawless solution!

Great app bad purchase options

I absolutely love the clean look and feel of this app, but hate that I can’t just purchase the Pro upgrade as a one time purchase. I feel like I am renting Nirvana and will end up paying hundreds of dollars for it over the years rather than the ability to buy and own today.

Are they still around?

I really like this program, but development on the product seems to have slowed to a crawl while they devote their efforts to other platforms. In addition, while they used to be responsive to support requests, I’ve sent in two requests in the last month with no response other than an automated acknowledgement that they received my request. Hope they’re still around.

Get This App!

I've used this app for years. Their original app was great but the recent update takes it to a whole new level!

I follow the GTD method by David Allen and enhance it by adding Tony Robbins RPM teaching and this app is ideal to be my capture tool.

Get the free version of Nirvana , try it, and then spend the small investment and upgrade to the paid version...it’s a good value.

Nirvana works on your iPhone and you can login at NirvanaHQ on your desktop, which is just as awesome too.

Perfect Order out of Chaos

Nirvana makes implementing GTD extremely easy, and the interface is pleasant and intuitive. After trying Trello, Evernote, and several other apps, this app is hands-down my favorite. I’ve noticed that when I go without using it for a few days, my stress level goes up a lot... which goes to show how much it helps manage stress when used regularly. This thing deserves to be much better known.
