I’ll start by saying that everything about StitchFix is phenomenal. It’s smooth, it’s easy, and the clothes they send you are spot on. It was fantastic, but I’m giving them a three star rating because I believe they intentionally sent me one item that was obviously not my style.
So as you’re setting up your size and style, they show you hundreds of different articles of clothing and ask if you’d wear it. This is how they determine what you’d like and wouldn’t like. They sent five pieces, and wow we’re the four of them spot on. Absolutely a perfect fit and the style couldn’t have aligned better with what I was looking for. Then, the fifth piece was this weird looking lumberjack long sleeve shirt which I have no idea how or why they’d determine from the hundreds or shirts that I said “no, I don’t Like this look”, that this would fit my style. It wasn’t even remotely close to the other pieces of clothing they sent me. Then I realized- they sent it intentionally, knowing it wasn’t my style. Why would they do that, right? Because if you buy all 5 pieces of clothing they send you, you get a 25% discount. They sent that last piece knowing it wasn’t my style and that I wouldn’t buy it, saving themselves from having to lose a 25% profit.
For this reason, I give stitch fix 3 stars.
