People would buy more online as well as bringing more foot traffic in your store if u HAD A SHIP TO STORE or STORE PICK UP OPTION, Pluss The convenience will be Welcomed by customers, as it will drive up your foot traffic which equals in store sale, gaining business and a chance on improving your brands image because you can spin it as if “you care about our wallets and can say “you’ve listened to customers concerns & suggestions and after sympathizing with the customers realize we care about you &you care about your wallets so we are implementing “SHIP TO STORE” people like me will drive to mall to pick up the item shop at other stores until entering yours whom then look around; if you always have a discount/clearance rack near counter {LIKE PERMANENTLY HAVE ITEMS EVERY DAY EVERY STORE ;OR SPECIFIC ITEMS YOU BUY TO SELL ON THOSE RACKS or sell ur OVERSTOCK or actually BUY OVERSTOCK JUST FOR THAT RACK)people will see SALE and may buy However the Discount rack only entices them wetting their appetite OR teases them into becoming more curious and shop around more looking for other deals! I love Express, but this app leaves much to be desired

As the title of this review states, I love shopping at this app. However, Express makes my shopping experience incredibly annoying at times. For starters, there should be a « save for later» or « favorites » feature so that you can save items that you are not quite ready to pay for. For example, I rarely pay full price for clothing because it almost always goes on sale. If I put items in my cart and only a few of them are on sale at the moment, I usually take the full priced items out so that I only buy what’s on sale. Using Express, I have to go back and manually search and re-add the items I want to keep an eye on after paying for the sale items. This is not user friendly at all and is actually quite archaic. Even websites that sell cheap clothing allow you to save clothes in a favorites section to prevent searching and re-adding items. this app clothes are not what I would call cheap, so Express should definitely have more features. Another gripe I have is that things that are out of stock routinely show in stock until I attempt to add them to my cart. Then they say « item unavailable », which is quite disappointing. If I had an this app where I live, I would simply just go in store to shop. Unfortunately, it looks like I’m stuck with this crappy app for now. To the developer of Express: please do better and add modern features!!!

Scammed $150+

Downloaded Express to place an order. My total came out to about $115, then after paying and placing the order, I checked my bank account two days later to find that this app charged me three separate times - once for the $115, and the two additional charges were random amounts at $97 and $71. Thus, I’ve lost more than $150 total due to random this app charges. I can’t believe that their site isn’t more secure, or what I would do if the additional charges were to make my account go negative. It’s an awful time trying to get ahold of customer service through Express as well. They kept telling me that someone would respond back to me via chat box soon... and no one did after half an hour of waiting. They could be experiencing increased traffic since their company is so crap - I bet other people are experiencing the same issues as me and getting scammed out of their money by this app. It’s also unbelievable that this issue would occur from an expensive company. I will never order online or via app from this app again. This incident is so unnecessarily stressful and could have been avoided if this app knew how to run a site securely. And since I still don’t have my money back, all I can do right now is complain and warn others to stop shopping here. Thanks for reading!

Great app usually, but glitchy

I use Express regularly. With a busy job and five small kids, it’s like my only form of window shopping and my actual only way to shop for my own clothes with some dignity. That said, every time they run a good sale, which is semi-frequently, Express freezes and you get multiple “Oops, something’s wrong” pop ups. I wouldn’t care if this was just sporadic like on Black Friday when they usually run 50% off the store, but it’s becoming much more frequent of a thing. Also, this is recent, but all the new arrivals and everything you browse using a filtered search works until you click on something. Once on the product page, the back button disappears from the top of the page and you have to start all over by clicking Home again. This is the first and only thing that’s encouraged me to get rid of Express altogether. I love their clothes and Express is generally user friendly, but it’s frustrating when you’re just looking at varieties of size 6 black jeans and have to reload the search constantly.

Choose Right the 1st Time

The this app App makes fantasy shopping during these home-bound COVID Days fun, but when I’m ready to buy something, it helps me choose the right clothes the 1st time! The item descriptions are helpful & I applaud when this app includes average & plus-sized models in product views - but my favorite part of Express are the Customer Reviews!
this app Customers are fashion savvy and BRUTALLY honest about how a piece feels, fits, how they’d pair with other this app pieces and whether they’d recommend it to friends. Reviewer profiles are descriptive too - how often they shop at this app, their age range, if they’re a frequent reviewer, and some BRAVE buyers even post pictures wearing the piece so you can see how it fits on a real (non-model) person. The this app App is where to “shop” because with so many helpful ways to look at clothes, it’s perfect when it’s delivered to your house!

Love the Clothes, App is Disappointing

I’ve been using the this app app for years. I like the clothes so I put up with the bugs and limitations of Express . One of the biggest frustrations I have had with it is the lack of “wish list” or “save for later” feature. The only way to save an item you like is to put it in your cart. If that item sells out (then comes back in stock two weeks later) it is removed from your cart and is seemingly gone forever.

Secondly, I was recently shopping a sale. I had a couple shirts in my cart and I as I added a third item and began to check out, I was noticed that one of my other items was already sold out. It removed it from my cart. I went back to the item to confirm. After refreshing, I was able to add it again. Then, another item in my cart DID THE SAME THING. I refreshed, added it back. This happened a few times. So frustrating!

If you’re going to shop this app, you may want to try the website or their Instagram first. I hope this saves someone a headache.

Just me?

Am I the only one who has crashing and loading issues...constantly??? Nothing seems to load properly so I have to close Express often and lose my place shopping. Doing anything in the rewards area either spins the loading circle(s) forever and times out or just crashes Express . Literally just had two separate loading circles (one dotted, one solid) going on one screen, no idea why Express never seems to be working quite right but it’s really frustrating.

Additionally, I wish they would just stop photoshopping every single person. On a number of photos it seems like they have a template and just throw that on whatever picture. We can tell it’s not a human shape. It’s embarrassing, “the photoshop is really bad but their jeans and suiting are nice” only goes so far with the generation trying our best to change the beauty standards that were/are drilled into our minds by the fashion industry. I don’t know if I can keep shopping here. They only represent curvy and diverse people on the front screen of Express , SO FEW pictures beyond that. Like “we’re diverse” upfront and “we’re racist” behind the mask. So disappointing!

Always have issues with this app…

Whenever I’m perusing online during my occasional shopping fixes I only ever seem to have to fuss with this app. Express is just glitchy. It’s been this way for a long time now and I come back every few months and it’s still the same. It crashes and freezes and it also just does weird stuff. For example, there’s an error I have to click out of every time I add an item to my cart. Tried deleting and redownloading Express and it didn’t go away. Multiple updates and it hasn’t gone away. Been around since like Covid started. Also when I go to look at an item’s reviews there will suddenly be no back button so I’m just stuck unless I refresh Express . Now I’ve lost my place browsing.. what a hassle. The reviews also mix up. Do you ever see the wrong items being reviewed and think ppl were just dumb? Ya me too until I reviewed an item and it went onto the wrong one. Overall Express is pretty functional and looks nice, but there’s some kinks and annoyances that reeeeaally need smoothing out sometime this decade

This updated app is not working properly

I have Express and have had it for over a year. I always update when required, but the last update has a serious glitch and it just doesn’t work properly. I will add items to my cart, but when I do it says the item is no longer available and the not add. I log off and log back in and the item is in my cart. Now this new update led version is currently not working properly. It is updated and when it looks as if it’s about to log in, a pop up box comes up and says Express is so last season and to update new version in App Store...well the issue here is that it is updated and still not working properly. I reset my phone a few times and still the same thing. This is so inconvenient for me because now I have to physically go to the this app web and log in that way...I order at least 3-4 times a month and now I’m trying to order some items through Express , but don’t want to now because Express is easier for me. Call me lazy, but my life style and daily activities makes life easier for me to use Express . this app if your listening please fix this because your loosing sales. Thanks

Love this app

this app is truly my favorite clothing store. All my clothes are from this app, literally from head to toe every day my outfit legit is from this app. My wardrobe has increased with this app items since I downloaded Express a couple years back. Express is fantastic if you're tall like me. I'm 6ft tall and weigh 130lbs. When I go the stores they don't have long sizes in stock unless someone returned (or at least where I live Which is Sacramento and am central to three this app stores nearby). Express has great sales especially Sundays between 3pm-9pm. All their clearance items I've seen marked between 40%~70% off on top of already clearances priced items. I've purchased jeans, shoes and work attire as little as $15 when regular price was $79~$89. Love it. My co workers and everyone I know asks why am I not working for this app or at least modeling their clothes.

Points not working

Ok, jan 2022 Express still doesn’t work. I have an iPhone 11 Pro (it does not have the latest update but Express should work with all versions and if it doesn’t they need to fix that). I updated Express two times and the format is messed up so you can’t click certain things. I also did two things to get points and it’s been over a week and still no points in my account. Fix these problems people!!!
Review from a year ago: I used to like Express because of what great rewards you could get and how easy it was to browse the clothes. But, since the most recent update I just did 2 days ago, the challenges are not working at all! I try to click write a review for points and it makes me sign in (why when I’m already in Express ?) but I can’t sign in as I type email and PW but then it says I did not type in any email! I tired several times and it kept saying this so I couldn’t sign in. Then I tried to link my insta and FB but that part would not work either even though I was signing into my accounts correctly. It’s worthless!!

App ALWAYS crashes/glitchy..take your business elsewhere!!!

I am a loyal this app customer, and even have your credit card. I spend a couple thousands of dollar every year, especially on your work outfits. Yes, you are overpriced but I like the clothes so I spend the money. However, SINCE you are overpriced, I don't understand what you are doing with the extra money you are making. Why the heck is your app is ALWAYS crashing & glitches out?!?! You need to hire a better IT team OR give your current IT a raise bc obviously as a company you aren't focused on the digital platform and/or keeping your employees motivated enough to perform their best!
With Covid 19, online shopping has increased amongst most consumers. So many companies have invested on upgrading the digital shopping experience for their customers...except this app!
I don't want to spend hours or even minutes having to restart Express when I can simply just take my business elsewhere, and checkout in minutes.
please fix your app or else I will not be your last customer that you will lost, due to your lagging app!!!

Obsessed with Express, but not the app

I’m obsessed with this app clothing; it’s about the only place I shop. I’m a frequent shopper and make most of my purchases online but I’m not so obsessed with their app. Majority of the time I do use Express to shop because of the perks and special “in-app” discounts offered, and I do like the layout of Express as it is easy to navigate... but it doesn’t exactly work the best.

Express is almost guaranteed to freeze up or close itself out after being logged in and browsing for a decent length of time. It’s also notorious for doing the same thing while scrolling thru a section that contains a lot of items listed.

When I log in to shop I like to browse thru nearly everything, look at product pictures/details/reviews, etc., and often times it’s hard to get logged back in or get Express to properly load back up after one of these glitches occur. So yes, it’s very frustrating. There’s been many times I’ve gotten so fed up that I just decided to forget buying anything at all, regardless how badly I wanted it.

If it wasn’t for the internal problems I would definitely give Express 5 stars.

One last thing, I would like to recommend they add a “likes/my favorites” option. It would be nice to be able to have a list of items I find that I really like but aren’t ready to buy yet. With the size of their inventory trying to scroll back thru to find one particular thing can be a real headache.

Easy app to spend a lonely Christmas on

Express was fun and in writing this I hope I get an online discount. But since I have your attention. Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis "the wise"?

My Gift Card is constantly getting blocked

It has been a month since I started trying to buy a dress with my gift card. The first time I tried completing the purchase, it just didn’t let me do it, then I tried the web and it said “we experienced a problem applying your gift card. Please try again.”, so costumer service tried to help me but it turns out Express blocked my gift card. I had to wait 24h and I obviously lost the dress in the size I wanted it, but I sized up, had problems again getting the gift card through but once it did, it turns out the dress purchase was cancelled two weeks after since there wasn’t anymore of that size either, and only a headband got delivered to me. Today I decided to try again, same dress but different color, and what happened? Again, my gift card is blocked after 1 try. Costumer service said I have to wait another 24h and hope I don’t lose the size I picked AGAIN. This is a terrible, why do you even have gift cards if you’re going to get them blocked????

Express lover and loyal shopper but major app issues & low customer service

Love this app and shop in store and online frequently however the last several app experiences have been very poor. I browse or shop Express multiple times a month and Express has either consistently froze, shutdown completely, cleared items from my cart, and/or will not allow you to view details of a product. Additionally, the filters aren’t always effective but the former issues are the most frustrating. After several frustrating app shopping trips I reached out to customer service because my point rewards were not showing up at checkout. The customer service department did not get back to me until well over a week or two later.

I am not one to post a negative user experience to simply vent or complain, as many do and to each their own, however as a loyal shopper I am very disappointed in my last several shopping experience and I would hate to delete Express over what should be simple fixes.

In love with express

For years I struggled to find jeans or clothes for that matter, that fit my shape, I’m between a size 2 and 4 at this app, but for some reason when I shopped at other stores the clothes would fit right in the fitting room but become loose after a few wears, after purchasing, and just not fit right. I knew about this app but stayed away because it can be a little expensive to shop here. One day I said why not, and let me say it’s sooooo worth the money, it’s been a year and a half and I have not shopped anywhere else. The material on their clothing is amazing, and it keeps its shape even after many washes and wears. this app is now my all time favorite store , and my go to when in need of an outfit or even shoes.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Complete fraud

Express is terrible! Does not at all reflect apple pay, and I don't know how apple let these app developers put Express on Express store if they cannot implement apple pay correctly. I put things in my cart, selected apple pay, and picked my address, and shipping method as overnight, and put my fingerprint to pay and it precessed. However, my product has not yet arrived and I talked to ups supervisor and they told me it was surepost and that this app did not process it successfully. To the point where I talked to supervisor for this app and then she transfered me to this app customer relations to which his name was Xavier and he did not help at all telling me that it was my fault. And that I did not select overnight and I even asked him can you see anywhere that I picked overnight and he said no, so even tho I picked overnight in apple pay process why had it not went through? Express needs alot of work and I get no compensation for your terrible customer service and how your corporate customer relations worker treats customers especially with lack of evidence.

Good to browse, Need Improvement to Order

I enjoy using Express to sign into my credit account and make payments as well as browse all items available. These two sections are user friendly and I am able to filter easily and rearrange the display of items by pricing, size etc. I very much enjoy this part of Express .
Here is where there is much improvement that needs to be done:
1. Final steps to purchase. I cannot get my shipping address to “stick” and therefore my order cannot be made on Express . I’ve troubleshooted with representative a couple times. I deleted and redownloaded Express a couple times as well and still no solution. I have to login on a computer to place my order. So it’s a little frustrating on the inconvenience of having to refill my cart and go through the purchase process again.
2. Chat with rep. on phone. There isn’t an option for this on Express — I wish they would create this section. If you are on your phone, you have to go onto the web browser and on the this app website click on contact us and then click on the chat icon. The problem with cellphone chat is that the screen doesn’t automatically resize so the buttons are off and it’s another inconvenience to re-tall a few times to send a message or even type a message.

Love Express and the App

Today and the past several days have been pretty hard on everyone as we are all dealing with an unusual weather condition down in the south of Texas. An arctic winter storm like no other!! Cell service has not been so great and when I got a txt from this app today I got excited and decided I needed to attempt to go online/App to see if I could buy me a couple more sweaters. Not only did I find a couple sweaters but they are in sell and this app is giving us $$ off out total qualifying purchase. I knew I could not spend much right now because of the unknown weather situation, but I also knew I could find some really great deals on great products. Thanks this app 😊

Fashion is my PASSION & EXPRESS gets it!

I’ve loved this app from the moment I discovered their store. My whole closet is full of this app clothing and accessories. They are fashionable, comfortable, and affordable. They are for the every day gal or the working woman who wants to make a statement in style and her job. These clothes give me a sense of confidence I never had. When you feel great on the outside then I believe your inner beauty shines even more. this app does a wonderful job with this. Their customer service is fabulous! Everything about this app is top notch. At least in my experience. Their clothes fit perfectly and are made with amazing fabrics. So, way to go this app! You’ll have this customer for life!

Add a wishlist feature

I really enjoy Express because it keeps me up to date on sales and how long they will last. I find it more convenient in looking through items.

I do wish that a “wishlist” feature was available because there are some items that are new and full-price that I would like to “watch” to see when they go on sale. Currently, I add them to my cart and then have to delete when I’m going to buy a few items only.

I also wish that other items styled with a top or pant would show up below. For example, if I’m looking at a top but I like the pants in the picture I don’t want to have to look for the pants separately. I would like for the other items pictured and styled with the top to appear in the “And these” section. Thank you.

So much missing

Update: Express has become so glitchy that I can’t even use it. It’s been this way for months which is so annoying because they’re literally losing so much money. I know multiple people that have said the main way the use to shop was through Express and now they won’t. So sad that this isn’t more of a priority to this app.

I LOVE this app and I order online regularly. Unfortunately Express is not up to par with other shopping apps on the market. I never review but I felt like I needed too. I hope the developer see this. What Express is missing is a way to favorite and save items you love, descriptions of the items on the item page, a way to view recent orders with a breakdown of the items you bought. Those are just a few of the necessities I’m missing from that app. I’m sure the more I use it the more I’ll find missing. Here’s to hoping for a good update soon!

Trying to create an account for two years.

For two years I’ve been trying to create an account with Express and I have not been able to do so. I tried through the social login, through email and this issue still has not been resolved. I tried removing Express and it’s contents, restarting the phone and reinstalling it to no avail. I’ve tried different browsers to no avail. I get the same error message on Express and the browsers. An associate at store 2061 created an ExpressNext account for me in store but I cannot log in online nor make an account. I even emailed this app’ customer service department and even they were unhelpful in rectifying my issue or forwarding me to someone that could. I’ll give this app til the end of the year but that’s it. I’m ready to wash my hands from this app. They have really great stuff but if your app isn’t useful to me, it makes no sense to shop with you. I’ll find another company that can and that will.

Do not shop here

Don’t let all the positive reviews fool you. I’m sure they were made by review boys (check the time stamps), because my experience with the this app app, website and customer service has been consistently AWFUL. Forget trying to order from Express . It’ll crash when you try to use one of their bogus promo codes. Plus, If you pay extra for two-day shipping, you will NEVER get it in two days. They change the initial shipment date multiple times. Customer service is NO HELP. Like I said, promo codes never work. I have had to contact customer service numerous times because the promo codes won't work on my orders and they have to apply the codes to my order AFTER the order is placed. Which means the funds are frozen for five days before they’re released them back into my account. Their customers service reps are totally unapologetic and inept, each giving different information. I'm done with this app."

App used to be great

I loved Express and used it to shopped all the time up until July 2018 then all of sudden in a middle of a purchase I got a message saying app was under construction and will be up and running shortly. Since then I have not been able to see point history, add anything to the cart, see my rewards, etc. It’s just been horrible! I’ve contacted support several times but always get the same answer about going online to place an order instead! The thing is I’m on A-List, when you shop online even though you’re supposed to get free shipping being an A-list they still charge you $8 anyway for standard shipping if you don’t meet the minimum purchase amount to get free shipping! The weird part is when my husband logs into his this app account from my phone app he has no problem what so ever.

Won’t Be Using Again

I shop at this app very often and thought it may be easier, and more “fun,” to use Express vs. my computer. I was wrong! I had the items I wanted in my cart and went to look at another item on Express ; however, when I went back to my cart it said it was empty. I went ahead and re-added my items and proceeded to check out. My total was listed, but as soon as I hit ‘place order,’ I had been charged double the listed amount and my order showed I had bought 2 of each item!! That was so annoying and frustrating because if my cart was empty then that means there were ZERO items in there, not items seemingly “hidden” until check out. Even worse, I e-mailed about the issue and they didn’t respond until after my items had been shipped. Moving forward, I will just continue using my computer to place orders.
