QuickNotes X: Notes, AI & PDF Reviews

Overall love how simple the layout is on QuickNotesX and I’m definitely planning to buy the full pack. Just my one thing as I’m writing with my Apple Pencil and my Adonit dash my palm is creating a master piece of line work below as I’m writing lol. I use QuickNotesX to brainstorm my new ideas and art projects like how I would do on a normal notebook. And transferring to another app thru pdf very convenient i can keep organized thru my apple files. My reason giving 4 stars it’s missing palm rejection function when I’m writing with my Apple Pencil. Other than that I do enjoy using QuickNotesX

I only used QuickNotesX for a little while. Every stroke I made eventually went blurry and nearly unreadable, or moved to the side slightly. I don’t have much to say positively about it. It only allows a notebook or two to be made for free, and something as simple and much needed as a text box is pay-only, which is not user-friendly at all for what it is. Things as simple as that should come for free, and as I looked I found that other apps offer these things at no cost. I downloaded another similar app called Notability for free, which is A) much more organized, B) more customizable, and C) much more stable. The pay-to-access features in Notability actually make sense, and have more templates to use for free as well. Messy, blurry, and glitchy notes don’t make for good retention or ease of use. It was frustrating and annoying trying to get what I needed down and in an organized fashion.

I love that I can have multiple notebooks for different things, but just looked and can’t find a way to upload them to my iCloud. I feel like if my iPad crashes, all my notes will be gone. Is there a way to update for the paid version to be able to save to the cloud? I do have the full version, so maybe that could be another pk for the paid? If that was available, it’d be 5 stars. Thanks!

I would be in love with QuickNotesX because it has so many cool features but, you can only have two notebooks unless you want to pay. I should not have to pay to take notes. I started using the first notebook but I realized that you could not change the name of the first notebook as it remains as “notebook 1”. So I added a new notebook which you could name, so I named it “math”. I took my notes for math on this notebook and I thought QuickNotesX was so great. Then, I was about to add an “ELA” notebook when it said I had to purchase a pack. It gave me an option to restore but I restored numerous times and it did nothing 😒👎

I just downloaded QuickNotesX, and I found out that it doesn’t even have some features in markup on photos! Like the scissors feature, you draw a circle around your drawing, and you can delete it, move it around, and in notability, you can even change its look!
Also, in QuickNotesX, for almost everything, we have to pay. Suppose you want more than two notebooks, you have to pay. Even if you want to use a text box, you have to pay. Even with the BASIC colors, you have to pay. I like notability better than this.

I downloaded app thinking it would be easy and simple to take down important notes, turns out I was wrong. I have a stylus (non Bluetooth) and its so hard to take down notes with it because it’s as though QuickNotesX only supports the Apple Pencil and other overly expensive Bluetooth stylus’s. For those who don’t mind their notes being messy, QuickNotesX would be ok for you, but I have a really hard time focusing and I really need my notes and handwriting to look neat. The randomly applies brush strokes and it’s so annoying to have to go back 10 pages just to erase a stroke you didn’t apply yourself.

I love QuickNotesX I use it for like Test Notes to help me and so far it’s been working great! I recommend QuickNotesX for students who are writing notes for a test :) / but also it should allows to put text for free because not everyone has good handwriting and might want the text but it cost money I don’t have the text because I think I have good handwriting but no one is perfect so. Yeah QuickNotesX is good for aethletic stuff or just school however you want it to be

So I liked QuickNotesX at first when I was only doodling, but then I bought the type feature and then after a couple paragraphs all of a sudden the tool bar is in the middle of the screen and every time I pressed enter the page went down and I was just stuck in a black abyss of nothingness and I couldn’t even zoom out back to my page. Deleting QuickNotesX immediately and getting my money back. For an app with *so many features* you’d think there wouldn’t be any stupid bugs that make everything impossible. I’m on an iPad Pro 2020 by the way so... very new iPad still. I’d give QuickNotesX a zero if I could.

I have using QuickNotes X now for over 3 weeks and could not be happier.

The ability to write in my own hand, import a screen shot as a background, or copy/paste right into area I need, is perfect for my needs. And now, thanks to a same day reply from support, I know how to utilize the folder feature.

Would highly recommend to anyone who wishes to take notes, journal or simply keep a record.

Hey, this is a really good note taking app, it’s just the main reason I downloaded it was because I could lock my notes, but it costs money, which I didn’t know. I feel like most people downloaded it coz of how fun it looked, like the text feature and the gradient feature, but those cost money, I feel like QuickNotesX is really limited and maybe add some more free features? Howdy Developers. You know how the Apple Pencil uses its Bluetooth double tap feature to switch between writing and erasing? Your program is gr8, but that double tap feature actually switches from writing to typing in your app, which I think might’ve been an oversight but maybe not. Definitely not intuitive seemingly given the usual use of the double tap feature of the pencil, buuuuuut great app otherwise. I definitely like the tracking for the pencil.

I love QuickNotesX SO MUCH ..ITS USEFUL, easy, helpful… but I wish there was a log in option so I could not be afraid of losing my notes if anything happened to my app or device. Or so i could access the notes from any device without exporting every single thing. I also wish it would save to I loud so I could pull it up on my phone too when I don’t have my iPad.

QuickNotesX is great and perfect for taking notes while keeping them organized by subject. The only flaw there is would be the fact that I can’t use my 🍎Pencil to change the tools. I have to switch to my finger to (ex. ) change to the eraser or to change colors. That makes it annoying to deal with while I’m trying to keep track of what is being said during my classes.

I love QuickNotesX, but would appreciate it if you guys should allow customers to be able to login, that way we will have access to the same things on different smart devices. I have QuickNotesX on my iPad and phone but can’t see the notes I’ve taken on my phone from my iPad.

I love QuickNotesX. My only complaint is that the eraser only works like a “real” eraser, and can’t be used as a pixel eraser. I use this to teach so it is hard to circle and underline when I know I won’t be able to delete it without needing to rewrite everything. That is a small issue though, overall this has enhanced my instruction!

it’s nice, but it doesn’t have a select tool to move things around. often when i use the pen tool the stroke will have a hole where it started. the tip should be round, but instead it gaps and it looks unsatisfying and a bit gross. at first i thought it was my apple pencil tip, so i changed it, but it still has holes.

otherwise, it’s a pretty good notes app. u can have 2 free notebooks, and you can change the paper format (blank, lined, graph, etc.) for each page. it’s self explanatory to use, which is really convenient. the highlighter has a bit of an opacity, but it’s not extremely noticeable.

my handwriting is kind of shaky looking on this qpp, but it’s harder writing digitally anyway, and i dont mind the shakiness much.

Downloaded this and paid for the full version after a couple days. Worked well until i bought the full version, then QuickNotesX constantly crashed, deleted my notes, changed the colors notes were written in at random after saving, and is just generally frustrating. I’ll only be keeping this on my iPad until I can rewrite my notes in a different program.

I really like using QuickNotesX, and there is one bug that should be addressed. Whenever I tap twice with my Apple Pencil it goes to the eraser but when I double tap again it doesn’t go back to the pencil instead it goes to the width of the eraser, please fix. And thank you for your support.

I didn’t like this mainly because I want an note taking app that I can type in and QuickNotesX would have been perfect but I am not going to be paying money just to type some stuff, like I was really excited cause QuickNotesX looks amazing and really organizes everything but me having to pay To type in the notebook is pretty trash to me.

I like to keep a handwritten digital journal and after trying several, I found this one to be the best one for me. They also have responsive technical support. I love that I am able to export my notebooks to PDF. If you love to journal, you should try this one.

So I do like the way u can write and the tools definitely help, but since I draw and write with my Apple Pencil, I was expecting QuickNotesX to delete and click done without hesitation. Whenever I do press delete with my pen, it doesn’t work. This is very frustrating, and please do fix this issue.

I currently love QuickNotesX . It helps keep some notes secret and it really saves paper. But sometimes when you start to use the pen tool it leave a blank spot where you start the line.

I don’t have the upgraded version of QuickNotesX and only the base version. I don’t expect much, but when I let my iPad sleep after inactivity while writing a note and when I power it back one, my notes will be messed up. Some highlighted sections will be in ink and some things will be randomly erased. App does what it does but it gets weird when i leave QuickNotesX open :/

I seriously love QuickNotesX, but ever since I upgraded to the pro version so I could have more notebooks it crashes every single time I try to open a new notebook. Not only that, but sometimes when I erase something that I actually scribbled over it, so it makes my notes pretty confusing. If those issues were fixed this would be my favorite app. It’s so simple.

There seem to be no where to name each book. I only see this listed by number . That why I’m giving four star . Never mind , found it .

QuickNotesX is great for taking notes but I find it unnecessary to have to buy the tools, it would be better if some of the tool were available. Plus when ever I left QuickNotesX and went back in my Apple Pencil doesn’t work which is very annoying.

It would be nice to move notes around in each notebook to organize better. Overall a great app

I like QuickNotesX but i feel like if there was a zoom in/out button for the page as well as the size of the pens.

I love QuickNotesX I use it everyday on my iPad... I just don’t like how I can’t rearrange my notebooks. Also is there a way I can access those notes on my iPhone? I guess kinda like backing them up..
