I just bought a premium version of LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia and it’s a little expensive for what’s on offer so far at a pretty heft $6 price point but this widget app has by far the most options of any I’ve ever tried and I’m happy to support its creators for how ambitious they were.

My only gripes as of now for only having LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia one night is that for some reason it seems to destroy the quality of my images when I use the photo widget option. It will look very high quality in the preview however when I add it to my home page it’s suddenly pixelated and ugly. I know it doesn’t have to do with the dimensions because the preview is flawless so I’m not sure what’s going on there but that could use some optimizing.

Additionally there is an advertised option to add animated gifs to your Home Screen but I have yet to successfully do it. Either that part of LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia doesn’t function as intended or it’s too complicated to figure out without a little guidance—and I did check the FAQ beforehand to no avail.

In the future I’d love to see some widget renaming options. Developers may not be able to hide app names but if we had some kind of edit option, I use the empty character “ “ to hide the names of apps via the shortcut app. It would be great if I could do this with my widgetopia photos as well.

I purchased LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia today and it was very difficult to set up. I’m pretty tech savvy, though no expert, but it took going back and forth between the setup and my home screen many times to get the widget in place. I like that I could design what went on it, but the main reason I got it was to have a good clock with day and date. The instructions told only how to put a widget on the page, and it repeatedly put the wrong one up. By trial and error, I got the correct widget in the place I wanted it, only to discover that the clock updates at its own rate! Seriously, a clock needs to be accurate always. Despite the fact this is a paid app, there are frequent opportunities to upgrade to a ”pro” version. Am I to believe you don’t think a monthly subscriber needs only an approximate time on the clock???? I spent so much time struggling with LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia, I will have to go back at it tomorrow. Most likely, I will drop it and find a clock that actually tells time.

This is an awesome app. Like, I would not prefer any other widget app at all. But I have a few suggestions. First, would it be possible to add on a widget making tutorial? Like, I really want to make a widget but I don’t understand half of what I’m supposed to do when I go to make the widget. Another thing, would it be possible to add live gif widgets? I mean, it might cash some people’s phones, but I still think it would be a fun thing to add. One problem I found was that whenever I go to click on the little icons in the widget that is supposed to take me to LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia it is representing, it just sends me to the widgetopia app instead. Otherwise, this is a really awesome app that I would share with all of my friends (if they had iPhones).

I purchased the “LIFETIME” version of LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia for $5.99 but I didn’t use it and forgot it was on my phone in LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia Library. I recently decided to move it back onto my home screen to give it a try and saw that it is now a yearly subscription to use it.

I tried restoring my purchase and nothing happened. I reached out to the developers and was told by them to “restore purchase” and It’s still not working. It’s still trying to get me to repurchase LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia for $20 a year! Again, I ask why am I being asked to pay for LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia again?
I am very dissatisfied and disappointed because I was looking forward to enjoying LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia and adding new looks to my phone.

Have not only spent the last month letting my creative side go wild but have also learned more about how to make Widgets using this Tool/Resource/App then with anything else I’ve found searching the web. So much so in fact I’m now being asked by local companies if I’d be willing to design some for them for marketing purposes. I have declined so far but if given permission from widgetopia to do so..
Great app, great Covid time killer, great educational tool.

This widget app was the only one I could find so far that would let me move the date and time around and size it to fit the design I made. It looks really great and I don’t have to use the premium because I’m using my own image. But… the time…. The time is never really on time 😂 Been working to make my phone look like the phone UI in a game but ahahah the time throws me off. Sometimes it’ll be almost a whole hour off from what the actual time is 😂 But I am keeping it for now because, again, it’s the first app I’ve been able to find that I can customize the text to fit the image I have 😅

There are tons of widgets available in LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia to add to your device. You can also create your own Widget! There is so much power in LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia for customizing widgets. Try LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia but give it several days before making decision on how you rate it. The help isn’t that great but it didn’t take me long to figure it out. There is also a user group you can join where you can see widgets others have designed with Widgetopia.

LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia is great because how customizable it is, but there aren’t a whole lot of options for presets so you have to spend a lot of time making a widget look exactly like you want. The biggest issue is the info isn’t always accurate. The clock is delayed sometimes if you didn’t open LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia often enough and the weather is always hours behind. Even doing a manual refresh doesn’t work. More font options would be nice too, and organized fonts. Right now the font list is a mess.

This is the only widget app I’ve found with so much ability to customize, and only for a one time fee! I’m so sick of other apps always asking for a subscription, I much prefer a one-time fee.

Besides that, it’s super easy to figure out how to use LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia and you can do everything from import pictures to track your steps super easily :)

All around love LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia!

This is definitely the best widget app on LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia store. But, the widgets don't update in real time. Also, if you accidentally touch the widget it takes you right to LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia . Why?
And the most annoying things is when you touch say the weather on the widget it takes you to LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia , then shortcut, then it will take you to what you were intended to goto. I am sure that's because of apple, but the developer's can work with Apple to fix that I hope.
But definitely the best app widget, buy the paid version for the development. I know they will make it better eventually.

The only thing. I wish when you clickedthe weather it would allow you to go to the weather app. If you click the date. It would allow you to go to your calendar. So on and so forth. If you allow this. It would be 20 stars from me.

It could be a great app, but it does not work most of the times. I am very frustrated because:
1) The time, date, weather, data info are ALWAYS frozen and showing the wrong info. I’ve place comments in Reddit and tried the suggestions and still they don’t work.

2) In order to do something neat or create your own widget you have to know coding and the developers haven’t had the decency to share a manual with the basic commands and functions, they have the Reddit thing where they and other people (who know coding) answer questions. Not user friendly for the ones who do not know coding. The learning curve is very steep. Very often you hear somebody saying “I just spent 4 hours creating a widget...”

I’m deleting LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia, wished I could get my money back. It is just too bad because some of the widgets are really neat. Going to try Widgetsmith or something else.

Neat little app but has some problems. For example the battery and time doesn’t really update properly and I have two widgets with the exact same things and yet those have different readings for the time and battery. I even set the interval to one second so it seems random for it to catch up timewise and for the correct battery. Maybe it’s because it’s a demo and I didn’t pay for it? I don’t know. Hopefully this can be fixed.

So I spent several minutes creating the perfect widget I set it on Home Screen and noticed that all components were missed sized and would not look like the perfect one I just created. Frustrated. ...but overall I love LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia and hopping this issue gets its deserved attention.

Clocks don’t update and to difficult to find out how to correct. Claims there are 1000’s of widgets to choose from, not really keeps looping and shows you the same. Daily updates are external and have to search for them not in LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia . Limited number of of widgets available in LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia . Why do clock apps with days of week in the selection show a picture of the weather but after you install on phone they disappear and left with white squares. Over hyped for $6.00 app.

I love LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia, but the only gripe I have about it is, why is it necessary to see that widgetopia label under every widget? It’s actually annoying, and takes away from enjoying the widget with that distracting label. If there’s any way to edit it out please advise, but otherwise great app.

App has some really nice features however recently since the last update the step counts for the weekly and monthly totals for bar charts and line graphs have been disappearing without any explanation as to why. The only way to get the line graph paragraph back is to go through the restore purchasing button found in the settings. Would really look forward to getting LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia up and running the way it should be.

There are two issues, clock with second and tap action:
1. Any clock widget with the second either blank after adding to the screen or the second clock animation is not changing
2. Tap action always asking for shortcut even though the application was selected. Wishing that we can launch an application without going through the shortcut.

I love LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia! Great widgets! I love being able to edit and customize. I also like the choice to integrate with certain apps.. particularly my health app for accuracy in displays. It’s a little complicated to edit or customize, but not too difficult. Great job!

I know the developers are working on LockHomeWidgetswidgetopia. So far it’s amazing. I can’t wait until more stuff is added! The premium option is a one time fee and no subscription which is a HUGE PLUS! So many customizable options. Love this.
