By far the best app I have ever used , with “ that I used” i mean i have tested a lot of PDF annotation app , it has grown kind of my hobby ,it is amazing .. i just want to add a few things ...while inserting photos , if I want to add a photo from google .. first i have to save that in my gallery .. that is ok ... i think But ... you should add a way so that I can copy and paste directly ..... now the speak option ... it only speaks the part what i selected ... please add a option so that i just can mark the starting site and there is a “read from her option “so that it can read it continuously ....and in that case please make sure , that it can identify the double column in a pdf and maintain the chronology while it reads out loud .......font has that ...and finally .... in speak option .......multiple accent option would be great .... please respond ....

When i first bought my ipad i downloaded xodo and it’s been the only app that i use (rightfully so it’s great) but lately it’s been very slow? I tried restarting my ipad and reloading the document but nothing worked it still lags and is very slow, i dont want to uninstall and reinstall it since im not sure i have everything backed up and im in the end of my semester preparing for finals, hope the next update fixes these issues cause i never had to deal with them a month or so ago (and i use XodoPDFReaderScanner daily)

I’ve been using xodo for construction as-builts for over 2 years on a windows desktop.

Love the windows version but missing too many features/tools on ios.

Was pleasantly surprised to see option of cropping pages on iphone only to be stuck with no option of saving said cropped page.

The new toolbar cuts off the top of the pages.
The arrangement of tools in the toolbar can be customized but it doesn’t stay that way after you close a file.
Every tool can be rearranged except for the selection tool. It’s always hidden.
Text boxes cannot be moved unless you select the Selection tool (which, again, is hidden) and select the text box.
The tools for drawing a square or circle are in another menu so if I want to switch between underlining and drawing a circle, I have to switch menus.
There is a bug that keeps my file open in two tabs, but the other tab doesn’t show anything.
They removed the page thumbnail view at the bottom of the screen.
The page zoom changes when scrolling through pages.

Some good things are that the undo/redo buttons are on the annotation toolbar now. And the tool presets appear when the tool is selected. You don’t have to use the drop-down anymore.

I downloaded XodoPDFReaderScanner to see if it would work with my cross stitch patterns. It is awesome!! I scanned a pattern, uploaded it to Dropbox, and then downloaded it into XodoPDFReaderScanner. I can enlarge the pattern on XodoPDFReaderScanner as large as I want. I can easily mark off the sections as I do them. And when I close the pattern, it automatically saves it. I use it on an iPad, but I could also use it on my iPhone because it automatically saves it back to Dropbox. I am so thrilled with XodoPDFReaderScanner!!!

I have been endlessly searching for a non-subscription based app all listed as “free” on XodoPDFReaderScanner Store but lack the basic functionality all PDF readers should have (Side by side page viewing, reordering/deleting pages and rotating pages) unless you subscribe to their service - I haven’t gotten to delve into the deeper features but I’m incredibly pleased that not only is XodoPDFReaderScanner not subscription based, it is completely free!

This handy-dandy little app has been a GREAT investment. Marking docs? It’s got you. Signing docs? It’s got you. Saving docs to your cloud & devices? Guess what? It’s got you! All without needing to print or having to deal with restrictions las you do with Adobe. Granted, all my needs have been pretty standard so can’t speak for any complicated actions you may require. Having said that, I’ve had XodoPDFReaderScanner for over 3 years and I’ve had no regrets.

The developers are amazing constantly improving XodoPDFReaderScanner . A year ago it was alright but now it amazing. You can do any kind of annotations with this, it’s free too! Doesn’t even compare to other free/paid apps.
Great work devs! Anything else you add at this point is just great features/ quality of life stuff.

When I first was using XodoPDFReaderScanner , it was working beautifully and I had a great experience. However, I had made annotations for a presentation on a file I had imported and when I went to pull up my annotations, almost all of them were completely gone. I had to improvise for the presentation using what little annotations I had left. Like I said, it’s a great app for the work it helps me do, but it’s not good for the quality and performance.

It’s good but I cant seem to be able to dross on the documents. I can highlight, sign my name with the signature feature, put text boxes. But I can write and u doing something wrong?

I got it now it was a mistake on my end haha. XodoPDFReaderScanner is really good. It works well and let’s me do everything I want to do on it without ads or having to pay a membership!

Great app, love this pdf reader. Could still use some improvements with editing and being able to view the document more zoomed out than just the size of the whole doc, but whatever this last update was, I love the interface change. Editing is more accessible.

This new release fixes the bug “when I come back to Xodo, the last document I was reading is kicked back to page 1”. It seems like this gets broken again in every other update.

l'd suggest adding a bar on the side (customisable for every person) to scroll the documents while in highlight mode, also whenever a mode is selected such as highlight mode, hide the UI in a way that is not as intrusive as it is now. Other than that, perfection

The top of the pages are cut off by the tool bar. Pages absolutely need to start below the toolbar. Yes I know the toolbar can be hidden, but I have to wait 5 seconds or manually do it every time.

Needs back/forward arrows. Using a hyperlink to a line item from say page 23 to page 253 and NOT being able to go back with one click is terrible. If implemented, please don’t make the back arrow go away because of manually scrolling through pages.

This is one of the very best pdf applications on iPad so far. I have tried foxit, Adobe and many others. But this one seems to beat them all very nice application thank you keep on the good work.

Also add feature to do block highlight of a selected area on a pdf document.

I’ve been playing piano a lot more since I got XodoPDFReaderScanner. But ever since the recent update, some of the pdf keep deleting my annotation which is very frustrating because it helps me remember notes. I also gr using this apps to take notes for class but whenever I switch class, all the annotations are gone. Maybe on the next update that could be fixed

I used to love XodoPDFReaderScanner. I used it on my iPad for work on a construction site and at home. However, XodoPDFReaderScanner has been freezing recently and I’ve had to start using other apps. If the developers can fix these bugs I will probably use XodoPDFReaderScanner again.

It is generally good, but Xodo just 1) cannot receive multiple files at a time through Airdrop, and 2) cannot receive a folder/ multiple folders through Airdrop. These issues cause huge inconvenience. Hope that the team can see this comment and fix the problems sooner than later.

Restarting my device did fix the issue. Thank you! Xodo has honestly been my favorite app (and I’ve tried a lot), and I was worried that my files would be gone from it for good. Very glad that isn’t the case!! Thank you again!

I like xoxo and I am using it for a long period of time, the previous update had many problems.
But you made up many of them in the last update, this is what I like about you,and I appreciate your effort.

One problem that is bothering me, is when ever I open another app, and then I return to xodo, I found my PDF closed which I need to open it again,
And another thing is that it does not remember the zooming size when I go to the next page.

But I give 5stars because I like XodoPDFReaderScanner and I like you working on it every day.

The update on September 3 caused annotate mode to turn on by default, rather than view mode, and I can’t close tabs anymore. Xodo always seems to take one step forwards and two steps backwards on updates.

Edit: now I can close tabs, but the “recent files” list is missing. As is a scroll bar to quickly navigate a document with a touch.

I generally use it for tabletop roleplaying game books and flight manuals and routinely juggle the same handful of books, but don’t need them all in tabs, and need to quickly flip to the front, back or just plain a page reference where going to bookmarks or even typing a number would take longer than the slider. (Assuming the file has bookmarks or serially counted pages. Try flipping to page 3-57 where it might actually be 129 pages into a scanned document with no bookmarks.)

I’ve been searching a whole month for an app to keep my college files in. I’ve tried so many but they always miss some important features (for me): annotation and searching button. Gladly i found xodo it has what i wanted, so happy about that.
There’s just one thing i’d it like to be added is a feature which deletes automatically the imported files after converting them to pdfs, this would make XodoPDFReaderScanner much easier.

I rarely leave reviews but this application is absolutely amazing. I tried 6 other PDF editors before coming across this application. My large PDFs open quickly, all of my annotations are saved and the application is easy to use. So happy that I found this application.

This is an overall good app, enables us to edit loads of documents, but there is some rubber problems. When we reopen the document we edited and saved, we are unable to use rubber to erase stuffs. The rubber in editing mode erase all of the things.
But, anyhow, as a free app with no in app purchase, I like it.

Good app, but when you are done editing a document/text, it doesn’t let you download it to open on another site with an iPad or iPhone.
This is overall a good app, especially for students. I recommend using on computer for best experience.

I’ve been using XodoPDFReaderScanner on my surface for a long time. It works very well and has everything I need. When I found it on apple store I installed it on my ipad immediately. It is a decent app. I like it very much!

This is by far the most feature rich and streamlined PDF editor for iOS that I’ve used. XodoPDFReaderScanner is tied directly to the iOS file system and changes happen instantaneously, no syncing or moving required. 5/5 Great App.

Every time when I try to work on a file it keep freezing . I have to constantly close XodoPDFReaderScanner and reopen it again but the same problem keep repeated . In the iPad version they let you add pages or image to your file but how come I don’t see that on desktop version??????

For several months, XodoPDFReaderScanner deletes my Markups even after saving when I relaunch XodoPDFReaderScanner . I’ve started taking screen shots of my last save so I can remake it before I start using it again. I’m using the arrow marked to mark off a place on a pattern I’ve been working on. It’s very frustrating. Please fix this!
