Recent app changes are a step backward

This is a regular place for my family when ordering out. The food and service are great. BurgerFi used to be decent, but I’m not a fan of the most recent changes. Ordering is way more clunky and not user friendly, especially if you’re customizing. They removed the junior bacon cheeseburger (my usual) from the menu, so now I have to go through some hoops to get that. You can’t junior size the regular bacon cheeseburger (why not?) so I had to pick junior size of the regular cheeseburger and manually add bacon. This is just one example of how ordering has gotten more tedious and confusing.

The other big issue, even before this latest update, is that it’s real easy to miss setting a future pick up time. It even defaults back to asap if you go to alter anything on the order! It’d be nice if that was asked right at the beginning of the order, or had its own step in the order process. I was so frazzled from the new changes and in a hurry trying to input my order earlier that I accidentally set it for immediately. Luckily the store was real cool and changed it with a phone call, but it would be even better if that wasn’t so easy to mess up in the first place.

Best burgers in town

this app has the absolute best burgers in town! And that’s coming from a girl who her up on In&out burger
this app has the absolute best burgers in town! And that’s coming from a west coast girl who grew up on In&out burger. We moved to Virginia 2 years ago and our friends took us to this app. Our life was forever changed, we now eat there at least once a week. I also love BurgerFi , we always order our food ahead of time and pick it up. It’s super easy to use and you can easily re-order previous orders. And you earn points and get money off!

Delivery Experience is Horrible

I ordered a $100 order through the this app App and the delivery driver shows up and has a $10 order which is the wrong order. I didn’t accept it and he marks that it’s delivered. I then have no way to complain and can’t adjust my tip and delivery fee and when I talk to the restaurant they say to talk to DoorDash and when I talk to DoorDash they say they can’t do anything because I didn’t order through their app and I ordered through the this app app. I recommend you just use a delivery service app and not the this app app. I spent a ton of time on calls trying to get ahold of someone in this loop until I eventually did and they tried to create a conference with everyone and it hung up on me. Moral of the story is this app has incredible food but horrible technology. Eat their food but don’t trust their tech.

No option to pay with gift card!

I like BurgerFi and want to use it but it’s useless if you want to pay with a gift card. Even on the this app website. After I entered and customized my order, it wouldn’t let me place the order unless I used my card on file — no option to enter a gift card whatsoever there or the main app page. I ended up having to go to my local this app, stand in line, and place my order to pay with a gift card. Super inconvenient during lunch! Also, BurgerFi doesn’t support equal substitutions without charging you. For example, I attempted to swap out American cheese for white cheddar and it added $1 to my total even though cheese is included on a cheeseburger. Please fix this ASAP!

My burgerfi is best

Been to many locations but my this app in Delray West Atlantic location is best. Maria the Mgr is very flexible, pleasant, energetic, caring and always finds a way to make us happy. The staff is faster than other stores esp cooks and quality is better. At other locations we got substandard fries w many small burnt ones. The West delray also always gets the order right.

New update

I use to order at this app at least once a week. It was just my favorite place to eat. I would leave work and place my order through the phone and by the time I made it to the this app my food would be ready. But with the new update, it doesn’t allow me to customize the burger that I want. My order is very simple. It’s just a Bacon Cheeseburger with grilled onions. But I can’t add anything to my burger. I can only remove things. Due to covid I rather not have to go into the this app and then order my burger in person. I just feel like this update was just a terrible addition to BurgerFi and really “fixed” something that was never broken to begin with.

System Always Down

The system is always down, even before BurgerFi. I have had my previous account somehow deleted, lost all my points, started another one, and nine out of 10 times, there is a problem at the store with either BurgerFi or their system. I’m not normally negative but whoever is in charge of this system really needs to be fired and they need someone who is competent. This is been going on for about six months, I don’t see how a company like this could actually function when I have someone who is completely incompetent trying to put together a system. If you cannot fix some things in today’s day and age with technology after six months, you need to be removed and someone whose company needs to work

Good but problems

The new app in general looks great, i never had the old version like most people so theres no way to compare between the two.

The only major problem for me, as for a lot of people writing reviews is that the rewards don't work, the rewards are there but theres no way to use them because nothing happens when you tap on them, luckily the cashier was nice enough to input the reward by hand when they had the $5 burger reward..

Rewards feature is something they should really get to fixing right away

Wish it would allow you to customize a signature burger

It’s an otherwise decent app, although it deleted my past orders after not using it for awhile and my biggest gripe is you have to start with a basic burger or cheeseburger to make customizations. It won’t allow you to customize a signature burger like the Ultimate Bacon or CEO for example. However, their rewards are decent, the food is good, there’s options to make it keto friendly, and BurgerFi is fairly easy to navigate.

Terrible update with features gone

They removed the customized feature from some items like the chicken sandwich. Since this was intentional, they removed previous Past Order (actually all past orders), so the user can’t go into BurgerFi to reorder a customized chicken sandwich.

There wasn’t an app update that did this. It was a sever side push removing the customize option from certain items. (That way users can’t just not update and keep the feature).

I suspect they did this to reduce the burden on the stores with customized orders that take longer. Having a feature in BurgerFi , then removing it, but the user can simply order a customized item in the store is a terrible experience.

I order by BurgerFi to reduce exposure and wait time in the store. Removing a feature favoring the quicker prep time at the detriment of the mobile experience is a terrible experience.

I can’t see my entire order!

BurgerFi is so excruciatingly frustrating! I can’t see the entire customization of the items on the review page. You have to go back into the item and make sure each category is correct, by opening each individual category. But, when you have three “customize as double” sandwiches, you can’t ever be sure which one you’re looking at! FIX THIS PLEASE, this app. I should be able to see my ENTIRE order and customizations on the review page. It’s a good thing I love your burgers, because if I didn’t, I would quit ordering them because of how maddening BurgerFi is!

No way to claim rewards

So I did everything asked of me to set up my account under the new rewards program. App looks good for the most part. The big issue however is under my free fries reward, it instructs me to toggle the rewards to use now or later, but there is no way to do this and the reward can’t be applied to my order at check out either. No free fries for me I guess.

Also I was a member of the old rewards program and my birthday was right around the time the rolled out the new program, but I never got my free birthday coupon. I mean, seriously, what is the world coming to?!

Love the burgers...but the take out service is the worst.

Love the burgers but the takeout service is the absolute worst ever. Been coming here for years. Haven’t been for a while because of Covid. Thought I would order ahead and do takeout. Food supposed to be ready at 12:17. Food sat on the counter for 24 minutes getting cold and I only got it when I complained and they found it there. There was several other people in line with the same results. I love this place but unfortunately I won’t be back until they clean up their act. David S. Jacksonville Riverside store.

Odd issue regarding custard orders.

I love this app and BurgerFi would be perfect, except you can’t order the custard from it. When I told the staff they scoffed and told me that was impossible, but you can only order concretes or shakes for pick up despite them being available if you order in person. But it makes ordering ahead mute. Maybe a little deal to you but to me it’s enough to knock off 2 stars.

Needs a progress notification bar

BurgerFi is functional and easy to use. My only qualm is that my food is never ready at the estimated time given. I’ve waited over 20 minutes after the time given. It would be helpful to have a progress bar after ordering so you can know if the food is being prepared and when it is ready.

Very frustrating app and worse customer service. Food is pretty good.

App was alright for a while and now says, “Sorry, we are having trouble connecting to this business.” leaving me unable to place an order. It’s been this way for weeks now so I’m unable to use my $10 member credit. Even over the phone they were unable to help me and the employee at restaurant suggested that maybe this is why their location has been so slow lately 🤦🏻‍♀️ Frustrated

New app stinks

Used the ‘new’ app for the first time the other day. The old system was much better. This upgrade doesn’t let you put a name on each sandwich. It was much easier to add and delete items to your burger. I took me a while to figure how to customize each sandwich. I wound up placing 3 separate orders, called to cancel 2 of them and had to go there in person the next day to credit my charge card. Manager at the store said they’ve had a lot of problems with customers ordering thru the upgraded ‘new’ app.

Love the food...

And BurgerFi ... AND the rewards program. BurgerFi is super easy to use, I mostly preorder my food on my mobile then just walk in and grab. The rewards program is so awesome I get free food/fries w almost every order I place. If u don’t use BurgerFi to eat here u r missing out!

Checkout confusing and no room for notes

Although very convenient app, there is no where to add in a note for example if you want something well done or without herbs or allergies etc. also I find the checkout process can be confusing and sometimes hard to edit. I end up with doubles in my cart.

Exceptional! Excellent! Unfounded!

The CEO is a melt in your mouth burger! If there ever was a thing and the fries best in the US! I have searched high and low for that perfect burger! Well folks this is it! The other thing I absolutely love? The top 1% meat is used. If your going to eat a burger it has to be the best beef you can sink your teeth in.

Looks nothing like the one everyone else has

I used BurgerFi at the store and it doesn’t show any points or rewards on it. The only reason I know I have a $5 reward is because I got an email. Nothing shows in BurgerFi . Also, workers at the store say my app looks nothing like the ones in others phones. It’s the only app to download on Apple and there are no updates to fix it. I really don’t like BurgerFi. The card was a pain but at least it worked.

Most confusing UI of an app

Horrible job on UI. So much unnecessary info but hardest to find the most important stuffs like transaction, past and current order list. I use it every week and I hate it. I saved my favorite pickup location but it keep resetting to a location states away. Fortunately stores have really nice staffs and gets my order anyways. I am sure you are loosing thousands just for this bug. Guess you care less for thousands.

Best onion rings in town!!!

Burger Fi has the best onion rings in town. At first I was skeptical because they are big, thick cut onion slices...but once I tried them I was hooked. They come cooked just right and you can add different seasonings to them. I like them the old fashioned way! Yum!!!

Where are my past orders?

Ordering ahead is a great convenience and I appreciate BurgerFi . However entering an order is very time-consuming and while BurgerFi indicates a place for my past orders, there aren’t any there. Our family of four gets the same thing every time and it takes me a good 15 minutes to enter the order. Please fix this!

Ripping people off one new user at a time.

Signed up for an account and to states you get a free fry. Cool! Wasn’t expecting that. The whole rewards interface being completely disjointed from the ordering is the first mistake. Then you go all the way back to the rewards area and it tells you “toggle on rewards” - only problem is there’s NO TOGGLE. So $20 later, this is my first and last visit to this app. I don’t support crooks.

Better but missing some features to make it great

Much improved visually over the old app. But still missing some much needed ordering options - like the ability to select that the onion rings be made well-done. Do that and my review goes up to 4 or 5 stars.

App and rewards do not work!

Awful service in regards to BurgerFi and the rewards.
First app changed all my burgers to the same toppings then when I pay with BurgerFi it didn’t give me my $5 credit for rewards that I had earned but the credit disappeared from BurgerFi . Why bother if nothing works. I think after this experience, I will no longer go To this app at all app or not. Aggravating!

this app is my burger go to. Food is always great. New app is fine except for the fact that there is no option to request fries extra crispy via BurgerFi anymore so I have to call after submitting my order every time.

App doesn’t work properly

BurgerFi doesn’t work properly and ended up charging my card. When I called to refund the order I was told I would need to come in to get a refund. The point of ordering delivery from BurgerFi is so that I don’t have to come in.

Needless to say I have lost out of $20. Horrible app that I won’t be using again.
