It says no ads but there are still annoying ads at the bottom that I can’t seem to get rid of. I wish there was a way to take notes on each entry and I wish I could forward an entry to an email address. Spurgeon is GREAT and I’ve read this publication for years. I have a much better app for him on my phone but I guess it’s no longer available. I can’t seem to get it on my iPad via the cloud. 😩 I looked at the other Morning and Evening apps and this one was the best for me. Even though it’s not great, I’ll still use it.

I’m not sure if this is all entirely Spurgeon. There are some readings where the language doesn’t seem to correspond to the language used by Spurgeon nor the vernacular for those days. I wonder if in fact is all Spurgeon or the language has been changed and has it changed the content then?

This daily devotion has been helping me in lot of ways and I’m blessed to have it. However, a there are a couple of things I wish it had. Social Media sharing is one and the other is that the commentator is too technical and wordy. Maybe it’s just me, but sometimes it’s so professionally written that I get lost with what the writer is talking about or it may seem totally unrelated to the verse it is talking about. There is nothing wrong with writing professionally, however, I believe that the style it is written in is geared to those who already know the word. They should ease off being so wordy because it can confuse or lose the young in faith. It just seems more harder to understand than the Bible itself. Other than that it is a great devotional.
