Go figure the richest man in the world cannot afford to maintain a simple app that navigates a directory. Crashes constantly on latest and all previous iOS. You cannot even see file size. A file navigation app that is incapable of showing you file or folder sizes?! Is this 1992? Even Windows 3.0 could do that no problem. Just use the mobile browser version, it doesn’t offer any additional functionality but at least it won’t crash. Utter trash and is insulting that Jeff Bezos doesn’t insist it be improved. Lazy. This doesn’t even meet minimum requirements.

I went in to delete photos from a folder I searched for by doing Select All and AmazonDrive crashed! This happened multiple times! It also takes forever to load photos in folders and sometimes you have trouble signing into AmazonDrive . It also occasionally locks up when trying to do something. I have also had to occasionally remove and reinstall it to get it to work. This is tremendously inconvenient and annoying! Fix it now! I expect better of you. 😡😠🤬👎🏻

I have just wasted two hours trying to back up photos using AmazonDrive. It crashes when I’m scrolling my albums, or it crashes once I hit upload. I’ve tried uploading large batches and small batches. This is impossible and I give up.

Another frustrating thing is that when showing me my albums to upload from, it won’t show my Favorites Album as an option. Super annoying, as this is the album I’d prefer to upload from.

This seems to be an interface in its infancy. With key upload links to services such as Dropbox and several other big file services plus limited app to app connections in ios11, there is a lot of work to do. Since clouds are still on the verge of replacing our hard drives I’ll be patient but if I don’t see continued development and new features, I’ll likely need to try another one. The price is right but it goes to say, you get what you pay for.

Overall this has turned out to be an affordable solution with all the basic features needed to store photos, documents (if you pay for more gigs), and other media. AmazonDrive is fairly intuitive and easy to use, but does still have a ways to go. I have noticed that on the newer iPhones, AmazonDrive will crash when trying to move files around in the mobile app. Ive found that doing any type of organization in the system like renaming folders/files, moving things around quickly, etc is not really worth it on mobile or tablet. The system is easy to use but not very efficient when doing those functions. Heic is supported within the drive; however, they are not viewable on phone which is a pretty big downfall for anyone using newer iPhones. Overall very happy with the system but hoping for more powerful functionality in the near future.

This is a good start. The upload and fast and furious and it is the furious that makes me squeamish. There should be more controls for the consumer to regulate the things that are uploaded. Also videos folder is useless as the entire thing uploads into pictures and does not separate between videos and photos. Hence, one needs to manually upload into video folder which is time consuming

I really like AmazonDrive. It's easy to use and quickly displays previews of my files and pictures. There are a few quality of life improvements that would be awesome. The one I would really love to see is tye ability to better sort files. Maybe a file type sort field? My storage is maxed out for videos but it's very difficult for me to find them. I know they are there somewhere and most of the are the short apple live photo mov files but it's definitely a struggle to figure out where the all are via AmazonDrive .

I love AmazonDrive and love that I can store all my photos in one place and can also order prints from that are delivered to my door. Took one star off because I have had a little trouble uploading all of my photos- probably due to the fact that I was trying to upload so many photos at one time. Still, I am very pleased overall.

Years of photos and videos from a few years ago were all put into the trash somehow, but all the folders that contained them remained. It appeared all my files were there because the folders were all there, but they were empty. Luckily I was able to retrieve them before they were permanently deleted.

Also, multiple files of the same item will get uploaded sometimes. Why does it allow this? At times there could be five of everything I uploaded. Why would I need multiples of the exact same file? Those uploads should be stopped and the user is asked if we want to continue to upload duplicate files.

It’s difficult to look at your files because it’s so slow to open and load. So you end up uploading duplicates just to make sure that you get everything saved.

Ok so works great on all but one aspect. If you forget where a file is located. And you use search, it will find your file. However it doesn’t indicate we’re that sub file is located. Not a big deal, but at that point you have the option to open and or send that file. But when you do app shuts down and closes. I’ve reported the issiue to customer service, but to this point nothing has been corrected.

Have been doing some researching about which ecosystem to be a part of (apple's, google's, or amazon's) for storage and workstation and this is by far one of the best cloud based storages I use. I like it better than Google Drive because of the ease of use, and the seamless drag and drop feature from the computer! I just drag and drop a file from my computer than see the same file on my phone! Great app and great cloud service!

Easy to use and is my cloud solution. I do wish I could set defaults in AmazonDrive for display fonts - I use a lot of pure text docs that need to be monospaced and I have to convert every time. Here is a minor quibble but I also strongly dislike being nagged by an app to give it a good review, which this one does too often — and you have no choice, you have to go through two reply screens even to say no.

I no longer have to delete my iCloud sharing or see "storage full" using this. This is by far the best that I have come across. I need to find a way to select "all" instead of checking them one by one and then loading to this. Other than that, I like it.

All my photos and documents in one place and easily accessible. Really like the ability to access my stuff from anywhere and from whatever device I’m using at the time. Doesn’t matter if I’m on a Chromebook, iOS device, or a Windows device, I can get my stuff. Pretty cool and very convenient.

For the last 2 year’s any IOS items I have can not sync the photos the way I want. I used to be able to put the photos I want in a folder and sync it to my iPad and iPhone and everything was there in order. No more; so I have been searching for something that works. This works like I want.

I like this for transferring files from my i devices to my laptop. One thing I have noticed though it’s better if I transfer files from my phone to my iPad first. Seems to take longer if I try loading things from my phone directly to the cloud.

a good feature to consider adding in futute would be to sort by type and/or size instead of just the name and date added. Havent used extensively so far up there with google drive as cloud storage. Have issues with google photo on ios and the microsoft onedrive is small storage whichnkeep them frombbeing 5 star. Photokeeper another tl lookninto

I am so thankful for AmazonDrive, it has made my life as a business owner/lifestyle coach and wife/mom easier.

Due to storage issues on my older iPhone, AmazonDrive allows me to do what I need to do, to keep what I need at my finger tips for the most part.

One day when my business is homing stronger, I will be willing to purchase more storage for videos, but for now, I am thankful for what I do have.

ive been struggling with sending all my videos and pictures to my email as soooon as my iphone tells me my storage is full.

i even bought 500GB of more space every month and i still get the notifications of my storage being low. (which im sure im not the only one who has been through this)

AmazonDrive gives you a whole bunch of
space. it is private, noone can see the pics or vids that you save. and it uploads the LARGEST attachments in a fair amount of time. i used to wait past an hour for my videos to be uploaded. if i were to estimate id say it took about 15-20 minutes for them
to
upload.

If you lose you phone your pictures are still there. Just sign in. Easy to upload your photos and videos. We have it linked to our fire stick so before it sleeps it shows our photos on the TV. Quick tip, while it doing this you can press left and right on the fire stick remote to look at all of them. As we ad more to that file they automatically load to the fire stick and show those also. Really cool.

I typically love these kind of apps. AmazonDrive will not convert a video over 2GB, which is small for a video file. Syncing is problematic as sometimes it does and sometimes it does not. Seems buggy. Has some issues i believe that when you copy up a file, and then sync with the server, it will overwrite my locally same named file. There needs to be some sort of process whereby i either a) overwrite b) keep both, or c) stop syncing.

I like AmazonDrive, it’s a solid drive app, but I wish it would display file sizes. Sorting by file size would be great too. It allows sort by name or date, but only ascending. Standard sorts usually allow switching any of the sort choices to descending. These capabilities add a lot of value for the user at little programming cost! (sorta brutish without the little bit of finesse to choose how to view a collection of files.) Full filenames with wrapping would be great to tame those longer filenames! These are user level issues that add a lot to the experience, like having a good steering wheel, or a flexible seat. Thanks for the service

I used to save pics locally on my phone, but I would constantly have to delete them when I ran out of space. Now i just upload them, and I'm still able to show people the pics! I have also used it to view some of my recipes (saved to the cloud in pdf form) when at the grocery store.
