After setting up the mobile app I was trying to generate MMID and am getting constant message that the service is temporarily available and this is happening for the past 3 days. Today I called the customer service contact number and this is juat horrible. The person answering the call just assumes that I know Hindi and starts the conversation in the language. When I admonish her how she can assume that then comes the apology saying that she would transfer the call to an English speaking agent but just disconnected the call. Next time another person said the same and then came back after couple of minutes saying that there is mo one available and asked me to call later. I just don’t understand how can this happen at the so called ‘reputable bank’ link this app or is it happening just because it is this app where customer is just another commodity? Secondly the MMID generation process issue - how can this be a temporary issue if the issue is not resolved for 3 days?

IOB is poorly made to handle the registered phone number. It is hard coded to validate 10 digit phone numbers only perhaps this app supports international number and they do charge every month for international text messages. However, few times IOB crashes when attempting to register with the US number. Now sometime back I had the validation part completed but it fails to register with my US number. Looks like this bank is behind the technology, probably learning at the kindergarten class. Poor customer support and hanging a huge manual KYC form instead of an online form… poor service. Good to move to better online banks…

Mpin issue on this updated version. I send an email to this app mobile banking help desk but no reply at all. Old version is better than this one. But lot of options is in this one, if they fix the mpin issue this is far better app. this app ple fix this issue. Thank you!

Too many features, too much security, to the extent it is more a hindrance to legitimate users than protect from unauthorized. Have you thought about how many Pins and Passcodes we need to remember to use basic features?

IOB and the bank are setting up common customers to struggle with accessing our own funds. The most non user friendly banking app I’ve ever used. They set their own limits for the user and it’s impossible to change it without contacting a branch for help.

The features for the mobile banking is very substandard. I have been waiting for a debit card for months. And can't really do much. It's a poor app and I don't think this is designed for the customers

Asks me to try again later far too often. UI is slow and error messages are unhelpful. Too many login steps and passwords means that all my time is spent just trying to get into IOB .

I use web based login and established couple of payees and these payees won’t get syncd to their mobile app. Mobile app needs lot of integration

While complaining,name asking final,but name shows but my complaint not send ,pl update and see what is important for customer,without complaint no one changes.

Please improve your net banking system asap

Very good and convenient!! Thanks — need to spruce up the transfer facility with payee functions properly restored from net banking !!

Mobile sim verification is Failed due to more than 10 numbers. Unable to install it from US

It’s so convenient to use IOB . Everything is in details and with many more other options available as well. I recommend everyone to give it try.

Staffs at Velavhery branch was wonderful and very kind and helpful in guiding bank operations .
