I rarely give feedback on app, and almost never negative, however Etihad has made me make an exception. This is by far one of the worse airline apps I’ve used (I’ve been Gold with multiple airlines so might know a thunk or two about flying). Unfortunately I fly with Etihad all the time and need to use it. Some of the issues are as follows :
1. Several times my trips don’t appear, or appear late
2. My passport details need to be entered nearly every flight, profile doesn’t save
3. I sometimes have entries for flights which have been cancelled or changed (still shows me the fight for the cancelled booking, for weeks)
4. Doesn’t update a lot of the times
5. Nobody seems to actually care what the customer goes through - as I’ve mentioned this in feedback and no response
These are just a FEW of the issues on the app, in addition to the terrible online issues (points being claimed thrice for one flight etc), and one flight not even appearing which would have gotten me to Platinum. Anyways, this might seem futile as well, at least honest feedback.

App lacks many features and the GUI is poor. For an iPhone app this is really a poor performance. Also, while you operate globally why is chat support only available during Dubai time? This is highly inconvenient to passengers needing urgent assistance but are in different time zone. Your phone support is almost negligible and when connected after missing the flight , the person in the other end knows very little to help! I never had such experience in using Emirates airways app or accessing their customer services chat or phone. I hope you understand these aspects and are able improvise. Thanks.

The app kept sending me the the wrong address for the coach from Dubai Abu Dhabi, where they have moved 3 years ago. I finally found the right place which is 7 miles away from the wrong one, and the bus station has no sign anywhere on the site, and only a bus parking on a dark parking lot. What dramatic was the bus driver couldn’t find the right rout, kept detouring on the freeway for 3 hours, the usual time was only 70 minutes from Dubai to Abu Dhabi. Almost missed our flight, boarded on the last minute and the airline staff didn’t know the bus delay and kept threatening us to leave us if we couldn’t finish paperwork on time. Very dis functional.
