Living Well with the new App

I just transitioned to the new App. It is well laid out and easy to navigate. Using it today i noticed a few things that may need attention. I did the in-app preregistration for a procedure I was having. When I arrived at the registration desk I had to give all of the info again. When asked why, I was told that I should have told her I pre-registered. I would have thought that she would have had all of my info pre-populated already. Either that or she should have asked me. There really was no way for me to know that it was my responsibility to advise. Second, on LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora Under devices I cannot add my cell. It shows my iPad already but not iPhone. No add button. LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora also shows a remote proximity auto advisement feature on check in at the hospital. I toggled that ON but it won’t stay toggled ON. Not sure why it won’t stay activated. Anyway the site is very current and intuitive. I like it.

Horrible

When you try to click on a previous appointment it doesn’t open to show what treatment or what happened in the appointment. I can see my son had an appointment last year October 30th. But can not access that the appointment was for a sports physical. The school doesn’t want to see just his shot records. They want to see the copy of SPORTS PHYSICAL. Sooo many kids got turned away today due to NOT being able to access their sports physicals on file from previous school year. Irritating!!!

Why separate??

I want SO BADLY to like LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora. It's well designed and fairly intuitive. I like the extra features. But the point of MyChart is to make my life as a patient with doctors in multiple networks EASIER. And even if I can see connected test results etc, having an app for just advocate that won't let me message my other doctors or switch facilities to do so is annoying and takes up space I could be otherwise using more beneficially.

If LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora is updated to allow messages to other medical care providers than those within Advocate Aurora, or a "switch account" function is added like in the basic MyChart, I'll happily convert and give LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora 5/5 stars. Until then, I have no use for an app that will only let me contact a doctor I don't even see anymore, even if it has many convenience and awareness features.

Needs some improvements

Just curious as to why LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora wants you to answer and verify your info for pre-check in, upload insurance cards, e-sign documents and allow location notification to confirm you are there to “ speed” up check in but when you arrive you still have to stop by registration desk and many of the questions are redundant and they still ask fir a copy of your insurance cards🤦🏽‍♀️. They wanted me to sign some docs b4 proceeding to attend appt but I explained that I had already done that online and when she looked in Epic, there was proof that I had already and she apologized. Seems like one hand @ Live Well app and Epic are not seeing 👁 to 👁🤔. This almost makes me miss Aurora’s old Cerner software. Come on Aurora... Let’s get on one accord.

Useful App

LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora has lots of useful data. My only (minor) complaint is that it doesn’t seem to use face recognition on the iPhone to input username/password when I open LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora .

I’m not sure if this is possible but each appoint summary contains a wealth of info: blood pressure, temp, weight, etc. It would be really awesome if LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora could harvest all these longitudinal data and provide an output for them (even a .csv file would be great).

Im sure this is beyond the wants and needs of most users, but it would be really awesome to have easy access to all those years worth of person data.

Needs Improvements

App works OK on my iPad and iPhone. My two major complaints are:

1. LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora logs out automatically after a few seconds after switching screens to another app and I continually have to login all over again. Once it’s open, let it stay logged in. Or, have a setting that allows user to choose how long they want to stay logged in.

2. I continually get popup reminders after logging in stating I need to schedule this or that test or appointment when I already have those appointments scheduled. I called my AdvocateAurora’s doctor’s office and they tell me to ignore those popup reminders as LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora has bugs.

COVID-19 info

Okay but more info on vaccines locations is needed. Since I live 35 miles from Summit WI. Most of including my primary Doctor at Summit Aurora Clinics and there are Aurora locations closer to my residence. Which Aurora am I programmed? Who is determining priority? My doctors don’t, I am old 80+ with medical problems yet sons 60 and 50 (teacher) have been contacted personally by certain locations and awaiting codes to schedule.
It would be nice to know I am on a list other than one that combines many locations. Thanks,

LiveWell app is the best

I love having my own filing system for everything medical, right at my finger tips! Access to future and past appointments, tests and medications. Immunization history and reminders. And I love, love, love being able to message my providers without feeling like I am a burden. Communication has never been better. I have never been so organized with my medical records. This is the best!!

By

Website

I really appreciate being able to look at the website to get the up-to-date information regarding my medical records. This is so helpful to keep in track of medications, appointments, and overall information from my physicians.

Being able to keep in touch with my medical team is so important to me, and I am so thankful for that...

Tech support

App ok except in viewing test results. When I click on one to view; sometimes there is no exit feature to allow me to view another test result!! Then only way out is to log off! Please add a back feature for all test results to LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora !! Then will be ok. I don’ like having a nickname to send message reviews!!!!!!forever to get one!!!!
Thank you, Don I.

App and service

I like that everything is conveniently on LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora and I’m getting really use to navigating through it making appointments, getting prescriptions refills or just general questions I can leave for the doctor or nurse . I think the doctors, nurses and staff do a great job and really make everything convenient and hassle free . Thank you

Lots of fluff ... no stuff

LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora is as useless and confusing as the full patient portal. I was told that I could find up coming scheduled lab tests, type, date, time but could not. I called the hospital looking for help and the phone system went on and on and I ended up in a voice mail system.

There is a lot of stuff there that I have little if any interest in and probably will not use.

You will need “a Portal to manage your Portals!”

By

Easy to navigate with some surprisingly good features

I thought it is just another boring hospital check in app when I downloaded it. But it is actually quite fun to use. I like the sleep meditation guide and the meal plans. The test results are easy to read. Personally i hope the text is smaller and there is more space in between text to creat clearer visual hierarchy. Overall good job!

Why did they rename it to live well?

So it’s weird my Primary Care doctor and hospital have different internet sites so they often go to two different portals and this is one.

LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora has improved but sadly it’s so hard to find since they keep renaming it and now renamed it LiveWell…. Why?

Also even though I go in to get the flu shots and get vaccinated each year it does not update in this system and there is no way to stop the annoying reminders with LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora telling you that you need stuff you already got. Give me an option to turn it off

No longer works with older iPhones

I downloaded the latest update of the LiveWell app and can no longer use it. This new version of LiveWell requires iOS 13 and iOS 13 does not work on iPhones that are 4 years old. Hopefully the developer will make a version of LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora that works for patients that can’t afford a new iPhone.

Good to know

It’s great to be able to access my up coming appointments, medical notes, test results, and reminders. If I need to contact my healthcare professional I can simply send them a message. It’s so much nicer than calling the office and waiting on hold to leave a message. It saves time for both myself and my provider.

LiveWell App

LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora is not updated nor does it contain current information. I keep looking for my test results from a visit a week and a half ago, and all I see is results from six months ago. An app should be allow me to make appointments, see test results, communicate with my physician and access office visit summaries. LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora dies none of that. I hope this is updated soon. I utilize the Northsore app my husband uses for his physicians and it is much easier to navigate and a pleasure to have this info accessible when it is needed. This LiveWell app is useless.

Great health care app!

LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora is wonderful. I find it highly effective in contacting my doctor and and scheduling appointments to receive medical care. Test results are available on my chart, and it makes life easier. I am in Aurora employee, and I highly recommend patients use LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora. I use it myself and cannot be more satisfied! Definite five stars for me.

Live well app

I absolutely love this plus you don’t have to wait to see a doctor to get your test results! Also, if u go thru any aurora it shows everything when you were last seen up to your next appt. it’s very easy to magic I hate amd let’s u know when I have upcoming appointments! Love LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora.

By

Worthless

They just updated LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora, which has turned it into a monster. Now you have to verify it’s you all the time despite opting to pass up this step for 3 days. Why have to do it at all? Why not have an opt out option?

Aurora sends automated annoying phone calls reminding you of upcoming appointments even AFTER you have already pre registered online. This is in addition to multiple emails. You cannot stop this or even limit any of it.

And try finding someone to complain to. Best avoid this at all costs.

It’s about my health.

MyAdvocateAurora powered by Epic is useless.
My old MyAdvocateAurora would let me do a history of the test results, I could graph past test results, and it would confirm messages that were sent. MyAdvocateAurora powered by Epic does not.
MyAdvocateAurora powered by Epic does not confirm that the prescriptions that were just ordered to be refilled. When you schedule an INR, a flu shot, or an A1c it sets up an appointment with a MA, which is fine with me, but doesn’t state what the appointment is for when you look at future appointments.
As far as I am concerned it’s just useless information.
It used to be a useful tool.

Helpful to manage care

LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora continues to evolve and has become a useful tool for helpful schedule and manage care activities. Having results from tests available here is really helpful.

Thanks for fixing the problem that had the Touch ID selection overlapping with the PIN selections.

By

Needs improvement

First off, the banner at the bottom interferes with the fingerprint ID, so you have to input your password every single time.

Secondly, LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora seems to have a built-in timeout, even if you are actively inputting information. So if you’re trying to input a message OR fill out the e-visit questionnaire, you get booted out with no warning whatsoever, with absolutely NOTHING saved. So you have to log back in and start all over again.

By

Great idea/ not so great app

I like that I can keep track and refer back to the visit summaries and any other information regarding mine and my families’ wellness.
I like that I can message my doctor if there’s a question or concern. I’d like it more if I could either get emailed a copy of my message to the doctor and also if it wouldn’t kick me out of LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora while I was writing the message to the doctor and then losing everything that I was thinking of and then having it happen on multiple occasions.

By

Time saver!!!

LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora has made managing my family’s health care needs amazingly easy!!! What a great addition of support services for any Adv/Aurora patient. Very satisfied customer.... thank you for the development of LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora, as it has made managing health care so seamless and quick. :))))

Same look. Why change

Looks the same as old app. It did keep all my info unlike some comments.

By

Should be able to compare previous test results

On the website you can compare your test result numbers with previous tests; I have not seen the same function in LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora . Also when messaging my Dr. in LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora test result section I get no acknowledgment the message was sent; I am not sure it was even sent.

Bring back My Chart

* Tried to request a mail order refill, but my only option was to pick up locally

* My Rx/dosage & use indications are wrong

* I have an exclamation point badge on my billing even though my balance is $0

Overall, just a horrible app whereas My Chart worked flawlessly for me.

6/4/19 Update:

Still horrible!

*Still showing the exclamation point badge on my billing...balance still $0

*Spent 5 minutes composing a message to my doctor...clicked “Send” and LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora crashed & returned me to the log-in screen.

What is up with LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora, and who is in charge of its programming? Please find someone who knows what they’re doing. I have apps that were created by teenagers that work better!

Nice app, still several problems

I like that I can use Face ID to log into LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora but once I’m in, there’s still several things I can’t do. Primarily, I can’t pay my bill. All my records are correct but I have no billing history. Real bummer because that’s the main reason I was interested in LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora

By

I like it

I don't see the issues other people say they have with LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora. I think it works great and have not had any issues with it. I like that I can see everything at a glance and even pay bills with it.

By

Info not transferred

All information was not transferred. Support kept giving me a date that it would, which would come and go. After 4 “changes” to the date that all info would be transferred, Support finally said all info would be transferred when I see my primary doctor so he could verify! Why wasn’t I told that from day 1, and why isn’t that the case for all users???

By

Love it

I love being able to write to my doctor and view test results. I just wish you could send pictures & be able to see what the doctor actually wrote for your review

By

Fix option to view bill in app

Why do you expect a payment under with out being able to view the bill first? Irritating I have to go to the website to see the bill. Please add this to the billing option.

By

Log in page doesn’t allow Touch ID

The login page has an odd layout. The LogIn tab covers the Fingerprint making TouchId useless. Seems like something that should be easy to get right as many apps have a front page to log in. It seems that developers didn’t account for ppl using larger fonts which are set up on iPhone setting/ display

It’s 2019...

Figure it out.

There are some amusing reviews of LiveWellwithAdvocateAurora. Sure...

But here is one simple request I have. Fix the darn “fingerprint” login. It has been moved down into a spot that you are not actually able to select it. Every time I try to select it. I get stuck selecting the “sign up” link! Very annoying.

I looked at my test results on LiveWell app. It was all in doctor’s terms and didn’t make any sense to me. I called the clinic, but two calls didn’t go through. Then I finally got someone. She told me that the nurse would call and explain it to me. My doctor had messaged, but only brief explanation, so still not sure. When the nurse called she was really rude. She had no patience, didn’t want to explain anything and asked me a number of times if I want to see a podiatrist. So frustrating. I didn’t appreciate being treated so rudely.

While the APP worked just fine, I am a bit outraged at the cost for a 10-15 minute "visit." $313.00 which equates to well over $600 per hour even if you factor in some time for paperwork after my video visit was complete.

I never signed up for this service and I keep getting emails telling me I have appointments etc

NOT GETTING TEST RESULTS WHEN DR. HAS RELEASED THEM !!!

This review of LiveWell is a scam and they don’t know what they’re talking about   2 years ago

This page of how to cancel LiveWell is a complete scam: 1. If you delete an app from your phone you aren’t deleting your account with LiveWell nor any other company that you would have a membership to. You have to actually deactivate the account itself. You can do that by calling LiveWell support 2. LiveWell is a free app. 3. Deleting your app from your phone does not prevent a business from collecting money you owe them. Duh. 4. If you don’t see bills you owe them call billing, your account is probably not properly linked to your patient record. Or, you’ve waited way too long and your account is in collections. Not a malfunction of the app at all. 4 . You can see your sent messages in the sent messages folder. They can’t email you a copy of your message. That would be breaking privacy restrictions since email isn’t secure
