They have released multiple firmware updates since we purchased our camera, and now it is no longer useable. All directions are in very broken english(if they are in English at all). Every time Yoosee updates, we are booted off of the camera, and have to go through the connection process again. It has not worked in at least a year. The camera was a waste of money, Yoosee is a waste of time and phone space. I will never purchase another product from this company again.

I was a bit concerned about the broken English message every time I opened Yoosee asking for access to my location “for WiFi purposes,” but continued to use Yoosee anyways without granting access. However after recently opening Yoosee and seeing that it was immediately copying my phone’s clipboard, I deleted Yoosee and done with it. There is no reason Yoosee needs clipboard info and I can only suspect the hope is to steal passwords and sensitive information. Unfortunately Yoosee reinforces the risks of using Chinese technology.

I wrote the support email address on three different occasions when my camera would not work what so ever . I informed them that this camera is used to watch my newborn daughter so having it switch off in the middle of watching her was unsafe . I followed the steps to restart both my camera and router as instructed by the support email and was left even more frustrated . The second time that i sent an email I made sure to repeat that this camera is for a newborn . I told them that i expected some sort of reimbursement if not a whole new camera because this product was not free for me and now i cannot use it due to whatever issues this company seems to be having with their product . I was sent a reply apologizing for the issues and told to once again start over my router and the camera. This once again solved nothing. I will never EVER purchase from this company again and i definitely do not recommend . It’s worth it to purchase a more expensive camera especially if you’re using it for something as important as a newborn baby .

I used to absolutely LOVE THIS CAMERA LOVED IT up until January 2020 when all of a sudden my camera became extremely limited and my features no longer were even an option nor was going back to the old version before the Update. I hate I want my camera to function the way it did when I bought. I WANT ALL MY FEATURES BACK YOUR UPDATES ARE RUINING NOT JUST THE CAMERAS BUT ALL OF YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE NOW UNHAPPY AND LETTING THE WORD TRAVEL. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE IMMEDIATELY

I read the reviews saying not to waste my time, but I figured I'm plenty savvy. Surely I could make it work! Over an hour later, I've tried Every method of connection available (of which there are too many) multiple times, had unblocking videos playing next to me, and been listening to this damned obnoxious beeping incessantly! I've heard the sword "schwing" of success numerous times now, but this stupid F#*%+ng app still seems to have no knowledge of the camera. This was a dumb idea. The other cameras I got were plug and done. This S#%^*s getting returned tomorrow.

I never expected much from Yoosee considering the camera I bought wasn't high end. I've had both for over a year now. In the beginning it was very hard to set up, but it process has improved (I've had to reset my camera numerous times, which I'll get to). Once I got it working and finally learned how to use it (after scrounging the web for tutorials), I was actually quite impressed with how user friendly Yoosee was and how good the picture quality is. However, within the last couple months, things have seriously gone downhill. I constantly get network error messages, and I've had my internet provider techs come it and confirm my internet is working just fine - which I believe because I don't have issues with any other devices in my home. I have reset the camera and reset all of my settings, I have uninstalled/reinstalled Yoosee , and I've even used it on different devices. For a while I was only having problems on my iPad, but now Yoosee on my iPhone is giving me problems. Considering I use this as a baby monitor, I hope you understand my frustration! It continues to get worse, and I have reached out to the developers numerous times, only to receive the response "We'll fix it in our next update." Multiple updates later and I have more problems than before.... In a nutshell, I used to be impressed. Now I know why good quality, reliable cameras/monitors are much more expensive, which I will be investing in.

We’ve had this camera for 2+ years as our baby monitor and have had zero issues until this last app update. As parents, when our child sleeps, having the monitor shut off after every 15ish minutes is very frustrating. And I can’t see how this is a helpful function for those using this as a security camera either. That defeats the purpose. Recording to an SD card is fine and all but its inconvenient. I preferred being able to record my sons night sleep and it saving to my phone for review. I can no longer do that. That time out/“ give your eyes a break” message is irritating and my husband and I are now on the market for a new baby monitor that does not use Yoosee.

We use this as a baby monitor and it serves its purpose.
Pros: syncs to phone, you can watch it from miles away, night vision, defense sound is cool if you need it, easy to share if you need to with babysitter or etc, you can move the camera, sound, you can talk thru the camera we have on it, (these may be for our specific camera, idk)
Cons: have to keep app open on phone, we bought an iPad to use specifically for this but it lags so much we can’t use it. At least 10 second delay between video and real-time, even it changes between day and night mode it clicks loud and sometimes wakes him up

Now after every 20 minutes or so, you get a message saying something like “Give your eyes a rest” and the camera just stops working and you have to refresh it. If you’re not constantly looking at the camera then you don’t know when to refresh it. We bought this same camera for our baby’s grandparents who aren’t so tech savvy, and they don’t know how to use the camera anymore when that message comes on the screen. Please change it back!! This is extremely frustrating.

Camera works great no issues with it so far, connecting wireless was quick and easy. Bit of a problem binding my email with the camera for alerts, had to generate a password for the camera in my email account for it to work. I’ve had the camera for a little over a week and still don’t have cloud access, keeps saying your account is under construction. I’m using a memory card for now but really would like the cloud function to work.

Yoosee is amazing, so is this app camera. Can you please add option to mark activity area rather than notifying for any all over the places. Also can you add features as hit map size, sometimes small bugs flying around causes motion notification. If I can decide the size of hit need to trigger a motion detection. I can avoid unwanted notifications. I know it has to be on the camera itself. Maybe you can consider this as firmware update.

Hi! This is a great app but hoping you will give us the option to disable the relax eye notification something because everytime it appears with 10 second countdown and when I forgot to click the continue button the connection to my cctv will lost and I need to restart the apps again and it's annoying. Thank you in advance.

There is a notification issue on last update, I have some devices shared to family members, on Iphone X iOS 13.3.3 notifications are working on other device Iphone 6S iOS 13.3.3. notifications are working onlyif app is open. was working perfect before updating to lastes ver.

This camera will work a lot faster and better if you use a cable from your WiFi to the camera. The WiFi barely works for me,it is very slow and I am 10 feet away. With the cable everything is quick and responsive.

The images are great, even at night. I call it my cat cam. I like the two way voice talking and motion sensor. I receive an motion sensor alert, open app and I can talk to my 🐈 cats. And the camera is an astronaut, how cute is that. Also, I believe you can add multiple cameras because 2 came in a box. I will be ordering more cameras

I have 5 Contixo cameras set up around my home and my business. There’s no monthly fee like ADT charges, no contracts. When you buy the camera, download Yoosee and your done; no more fees. They work great and I can always check in on my kids when I am work or check to see if it’s raining at my house, etc. I absolute love these cameras!

I designed GUI’s for over 40 years so I think I know a few things about user interfaces. Yoosee would work so much better if you just used a regular calendar instead of the one used. You should also use color to highlight alarms better and add function to allow user to go from alarm to alarm more easily. Thanks, I hope this helps make your app number 1. :-)

I use “this app” App for camera ship from China, and use “meshare” App for cameras ship from USA.
Why this app and Meshare when we have “port forward” in our LAN ? Because our IP provider, com..st, let us configure but failed to support “port forward” operation. All our WAN cameras is limited to LAN, ie jailed. Our IP provider also sell IP camera monitoring service we didn’t bought.
this app and meshare servers are mature and stable. 10x simpler to add camera compare to port forward. Upon login, their server can copy image from our cameras and pass it to our mobile phone via the internet, cost to my LTE data credit.
meshare, a relatively more popular App, also cost more to IP provider’s resource, bandwidth, subscribers are suffering from “poor or lost connection” with meshare.
this app also supported fisheye camera, just make sure your model model support this app.
I will not add cameras that doesn’t support this app or Meshare.

I usually don’t give reviews but Yoosee deserves 5 stars. I have been using Yoosee for my camera for almost a year now. I had a little trouble in the beginning with my camera but Yoosee has been amazing. I use it for my sons camera in his nursery and it has been a life saver! Thank you to the creators of Yoosee and keep up with the good work!

The camera look decent and has good video quality as well as very easy to set up and get it to connect. I spent a few minutes and was able to get everything set up and connect to the apps.
Here is the problem i have. You can not connect to it when your phone is not on WiFi. It will not connect on LTE. Your phone has to be on WiFi to connect to the cam. What’s the idea here if you can’t see what’s going on unless your phone connect to WiFi.

My husband and I use this to check on our dog while we are at work. Very easy to set up and access remotely on both our phones. I have recommended it to many friends.

Personally, I have not had any issues with Yoosee. at this time and very content being able to watch what my children are doing at all times. Furthermore, having the capability in recording events is also a major plus, as I am able to go back and replay certain events one of the kids may forget.
yesterday esset detected that the yoosee app has a scamapp file what neans that it is not safe to use. This detection caused that I could not go further until I had removed the app. So now the question is or the app is really unsafe.
Please get rid of the "rest your eyes" feature, or make it an option in the menu to switch it on/off.
I bought this camera about 2 months ago. I am not happy at all. I can watch it live from home or wherever but I cannot view any recordings. I have to "subscribe" to Cloud Service and pay in dollars for the priviledge of watching my own camera! I live in South Africa and certainly I do not rent the camera or bought it on hire purchase. I won't recommend this excuse of security to anyone.
I bought this camera a few months ago for a discounted price. I was happy with it, because the image and video was vivid. But I watched it "live" while I was in the room. I set it up and it worked fine. But when I tried to replay the camera wanted me to subscribe to Cloud Services. I don't see any reason for me to pay for something I do not want. And I have already paid for the camera. It belongs to ME! How will I ever be able to check on the events when I want to?
Please, disable relaxing eye notification. I use camera and apk for cctv monitor. I have to refresh manualy every time. Very frustrating. Thx.
