I just attempted to install, even though there are many complaints about BitdefenderCentral....just to see if the complaints are factual. Well, immediately after installing it, l uninstalled it because I was being directed to a link to BUY BitdefenderCentral (just like one person said that happened to him also)! Nope....not going to buy anything unless I can at least have a way to try it out first!! For the developer (before you might reply).....do not say you have a new update, which is your standard reply! I say to everyone.....don’t bother installing BitdefenderCentral.

Bit defender sells its service as an Antivirus type thing. It says it has support for 5 devices when one buys it, but it will not install on an I phone without their VPN which I do not want.

So, I have a useless subscription for 5 devices because it only works on 1 windows computer.

I do not want to be held hostage by these morons to use their VPN.

I have a VPN that actually does what it says it will do.

If Bitdefender cannot make app 1 work like it is purported to, why would anyone want APP #2?

There are two different companies. Hard to keep straight of which company does what. Payment information is not easily accessible. Community help is not helpful. Wasted my money as it’s past 30 days now. Wasted my time. I’m done with them. UNINSTALL!

Their website has been unable to load the pages where cancellations are located. Have not been able to cancel for weeks. Constant issues with digging through obtuse menus to configure the settings I need. Non-stop nagging to upgrade to vpn, etc. We are done paying for the annoyance with this service.

I like BitdefenderCentral and would give it more stars but I every time I used it (7-8 times) it crashed. It was also unstable when I setup the box as well and then created additional problems.

Bitdefender, like so many others, are trying to get people on their other services. They’re pushing unsolicited installs of their other client software to users of the AV product, and making it difficult to permanently uninstall.

The AV itself still seems to work OK.

BitdefenderCentral would be good if it was snapper in its execution. Every tap or scroll takes between one to two seconds to register. Very frustrating.

I have Bitdefender Premium and it’s used primarily for the family’s iPhones and laptops. The ‘Web Protection’ feature must be restarted EVERY time you restart your ‘device’ and the included VPN is less than VERY basic compared to what my NORD VPN has included in it for a VERY reasonable price. Try’n to connect with customer service is a JOKE! Never again after this membership expires. Consider yourself warned…🤮

BitdefenderCentral is great as you have the control in your palm. On the go, we can manage the devices and keep them secure. But the problem with BitdefenderCentral is it super slow. You tap on one thing and it take 1-3 seconds to respond. This makes it harder to use BitdefenderCentral . If the Bitdefender's dev team is reading this, please you should think about looking into this issue.

Yes, it was "free", the hour of aggravation was worse than painful. I appreciate confirming my account but geez at least 3X in different places was excessive. Then I didn't get what I need. I only use the web once a month at the most so VPN doesn't help me & didn't work.

Overall it’s nice app. One thing missing is nowhere does it tell you what your plan is and how much you’re paying for the year.

I’ve noticed a major drop off in my battery’s performance over the last few weeks. I went from charging overnight to multiple times a day. Avg daily screen time ~4.5 hours.

My device is about a year and a half old, so I figured there’s no way the battery itself had degraded so drastically. To be safe, I checked my battery health anyway (89% maximum capacity) which is where I discovered the culprit: Bitdefender Central has been responsible for between 88-90% of battery usage each of the last three days. And it’s all from background activity!

Look, I understand that preventative protection requires round the clock activity, but what good is the software if there isn’t a device to protect?

Note: I just downloaded the most recent version, so it may just be a case of running outdated software. I’m not confident in this take, however, as the problem appeared well before this version’s release.

Freezes up at most screens. Unable to sign out. Fixed. Working fine

I loved my bitdefender box, but I removed it because it does not allow me to disable DHCP to work with my setup. Hopefully that will be updated soon

Wish they would go all in on some features or back out.

-Why have a password manager feature that you can’t even access on your phone? How useful is that?
- why have a parent monitoring feature that does nothing besides location tracking?
- why have a separate mobile security app that does nothing besides two features available for free elsewhere?

Their security is very good which is the core function so gave it 4 star. The other features are so basic and light they have no value and ultimately make it bloated down.

BitdefenderCentral work great until the most recent update. Then overnight BitdefenderCentral drains my battery 45 to 50% with the screen locked. Please correct the glitch here, I’ve never experienced this issue before and I’ve been happily using BitdefenderCentral for over a year now.

Been using bitdefender for years, and have been given notifications on preventing me from clicking on the wrong link, or processing into the wrong pages. Recently Bitdefender blocked a malware that would of freeze my laptop and stolen my photos and information. This was the same link I later found out that a not so lucky friend got into using another antivirus. Thank you Bitdefender for providing years of protection in my technology online life and for saving me from that malware headache.

Options are limited but simple scan and device info to track devices and reported threats.

Bitdefender I downloaded one app. Then taking me to another bitefender app that I had to buy. You going to loss a lot of customer that way. You are not trying out first. Then if you like you buy it. That’s not right bitderfender. You lost me for good.

This doesn't do anything but redirect you to other apps for sale. These apps have low ratings. I consider BitdefenderCentral malware and shame on the Apple store for listing it.

Ion the five minutes I used BitdefenderCentral I had to resign in at least 17 times I won’t be using BitdefenderCentral until these errors are fixed

Overall it is a good app. But it should add security feature when launching it own, such as Touch ID/pin/Face ID

All update notes say same thing. Would be nice to see what actual enhancements are made causing the update? Not all remote features yet work in remote management. Lock feature works not location if you loose your phone? Box 2 is awesome!

I am all in with Bitdefender. The platform is solid and it has completely protected my devices against multiple attacks. The thought of adding a device to my network (USA) that is monitored by a company based in Romania required a leap of faith. Anti-Virus and protection before Bitdefender was so disheartening, slow, and cumbersome, I needed a solution that works. The BOX works.
The reviews about their apps are spot on. This is their weak point, but BitdefenderCentral is critical for BOX users. BitdefenderCentral works much better than the BOX 1 app. BOX 1 users know what I mean, no need to elaborate. Moving forward ...
Bitdefender, please keep a quality team on BitdefenderCentral, with BOX techs, as it works as a design in progress. BitdefenderCentral is crucial for BOX users and can solidify your place in the market.
BOX customer service is five star and I have solved problems with them and they have answered many questions. This is how I smooth the bumps in BitdefenderCentral , but you must make this enhancement...
I have two networks and plan on adding a third all with BOX 2s. BitdefenderCentral MUST be able to easily switch between multiple accounts. First, BitdefenderCentral (iOS) glitches if I try to put in a different email address to switch accounts. I put in the email address and 6-7 letters into the password, it glitches back into the primary email used. I have to use a separate device (iOS) to monitor my other BOX 2. In addition, please add fingerprint/face security authentication before displaying the account info. It is possible to control someone’s network, so it needs as many layers of security as possible.
I am a very satisfied customer and will promptly mark 5 stars when BitdefenderCentral hits the mark. Tyvm
