SnipNotes Notebook & Clipboard Reviews

I love SnipNotes and use it on all my devices: Mac, iPhone, iPad and Apple watch. Anything I need to capture (thoughts web page URLs, phone numbers, addresses, etc.) goes into the SnipNotes inbox until I have time to act on it – the badged icon is a great reminder – and it’s immediately available everywhere. Notes with an address automatically get an embedded map and any note can be sent as a text message or an email, or used to create a reminder, with one click. Excellent Siri integration and the Apple Watch app is one of the best out there: You can quickly create and search for notes with dictation or save your current location. The developer is constantly making enhancements and provides great support.

Does notes well. Came from Buno, looks like the devs have forgotten about their server, and SnipNotesNotebookClipboard is much better. Same core concept-simplicity and focus on minimal, high-value features. Easy to get notes in, good organization (folders metaphor) solid and UI/UX in general. Could do away with the Content Types feature as it misses the mark completely in notes with multiple type-triggers, but thankfully you can disable on a note by note basis. Too bad you can’t just switch if off. I’m not dinging a star for all this however, just nits for a very solid app. Kudos

I like SnipNotesNotebookClipboard , however, it has always been slow to sync with my watch. For instance, I created a grocery list last night on jy phone. I go to the grocery store expecting to use my watch and not have to walk around looking at my phone and jeopardize dropping such an expensive phone. Well, just like many times before, the grocery list was still the last list I had created and had not yet updated.

So, I finish my shopping using my phone and headed home. Once I got home, I opened SnipNotesNotebookClipboard on my my and to my surprise it had updated. A lot of good it did.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good app. I just wish it would sync much faster. Other apps like calendar, contacts, financial, and etc. have no problems syncing almost instantaneously. If only Snip Notes would.

My need was for a quick clipboard/note/shelf app that would allow me to share small bits of information between my Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, MBP). What I got with SnipNotes is a somewhat powerful data-collecting app that makes it incredibly easy to record, store, reference, and use information on a single device and across multiple devices.

There are a bunch of apps out there work for iPhone and iPad. SnipNotes, however, works on Mac and, most importantly for me, it lives in the menu bar for super-quick access. I cannot endorse SnipNotesNotebookClipboard enough.

If I had to ask for more, I would suggest adding an iMessage app to more easily share information while messaging, add more icon options (or use emoji) for notes, nesting of categories.

Even without any of those suggestions, though, SnipNotesNotebookClipboard is just so excellent and should be useful to anyone.

After moving to the Apple ecosystem I was somewhat disappointed by the lack of a good note app. The available apps were either pretty anemic or had subscription pricing which gets expensive over time. Then I came across SnipNotes and have been very pleased. It offers many features, syncs instantly across my MacBook, phone, and watch, and is well priced. Extra - the developer solicits feature requests, so I made one. He jumped right on it and promised that it will be in the next update in a couple weeks. Can't ask for more!

I use this product to collect my thoughts, collect clipped articles, and other general note-taking. Since it can be cloud-based, I can recall everything from my MacBook Pro or any of my iPads. This makes it quite transparent for recalling everything. What don’t I like? I haven’t figured out how to alphabetize my notes! I have probably misconfigured something!
Would I buy it again? YES! It has solved a problem for me. Oh, you can easily export any note for other uses. Very nice.

This is an excellent app with rich features and a very clean and simple user interface. The developer is extraordinarily responsive to suggestions for app improvements — both in terms of his response time (usually within 24 hours) and the very quick updates he has made available. I have tried many note taking apps, and this is one of the very best. In fact, it has become my default app for taking and organizing notes.

SnipNotes is now my favorite note-taking app. For me, it is a great note taking tool, but it also works on my Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Important to me is that all these notes can be accessed or created on my Apple Watch. I had a problem with my Apple Watch and received the answer overnight. Great support!

Changing Apple Watch settings on iPhone app does nothing to the Apple Watch. Contacted dev. who wrote back saying the problem was on my end and my watch and phone weren’t communicating. Baloney. My watch and phone communicate fine. Nice try. Make an app that’s flawed and then blame the buyer. Odd how YOUR app is the only one with problems.

Update: the nerve of this guy. It’s not my responsibility to help you fix your app; it’s YOUR responsibility to put out an app that works in the first place. Stop ripping people off and then blaming them for your mistakes. My watch is configured fine for everything else. Your app is causing the only problem. Go debug your app and stop blaming other people.

Really like SnipNotesNotebookClipboard but there is one major feature that is missing…the ability to search for a note from the list of notes in SnipNotesNotebookClipboard . You must go into a particular category in order to do a search and it only searches in that category. This really limits its usefulness. Also, the All Notes is at the bottom of the list of notes not at the top where it would be much more useful, especially if you want to do a search of all notes.

For any one saving clips from news or another source SnipNotesNotebookClipboard has no match. I have used it for several years and since the begging, the concept was innovative and useful for research.
It is better with new updates adding great features on how to use and organize clips.

An amazing App. So much under appreciated. I have tried many notes and clipboards. This one beats them all. I tries paste but was disappointed

You can edit the clipboard/notes.

It is unique. Sadly all the online searches and all the websites that do app reviews, have failed to mention this incredible, outstanding, versatile , all in one cliboard and notes app

This is a great app. It gets updated with new features often and whenever I have an issue or want to request a feature, the developer gets right back to me. Very happy to buy this one.

This is a great app for keeping track of my grocery list on my Apple Watch. Syncs beautifully. Have used it for several years now. Does way more than I even need!

I wish you could add the feature of being able to sort/rearrange my lists I created. Example: I have a list of passwords in which I would like move a password up or down in order but can’t.

I have had it for a long time and with every update I find a new way to use it more effectively and efficiently.

SnipNotesNotebookClipboard covers a lot of ground. Can take notes in a flash, good organization possible dealing with notes, and plays well with lots of other apps including Apple watch.

This is the *only* note taking app that allows you to quickly search through notes on Apple watch. Good job folks!

SnipNotesNotebookClipboard is great, but I have recently been having issues viewing thumbnails from SnipNotesNotebookClipboard on my Apple watch can this be fixed? Thanks

I have been using SnipNotesNotebookClipboard for some time now and kind of stopped using it because I didn’t like the user interface too much. After a recent update for iOS 14, I fell in love with SnipNotesNotebookClipboard again. The look and feel is so much more clean and modern. I also love how simple SnipNotesNotebookClipboard is.

Aside from that, I would definitely recommend SnipNotesNotebookClipboard .

I've been using SnipNotes for a couple of years. The developer is always updating it with more robust features. I use the iOS and Mac versions. They work great together. It's not bloated with "features." It's got just what you need to take, keep and access notes easily. It's inexpensive, it's not a subscription. I love it!
