Let me start by saying that, in general, the this app web app is awesome and far superior to Trello and Airtable. This review focuses on the iOS app itself - which seems to be a broken wrapper for the web experience and only serves to hamper some of the capabilities of the web app. This review f... Show more ocuses on the experience on the 12.9” 2018 iPad Pro. Let me give you some examples of the major issues and gaps:

+ App frequently “loses” objects when they are dragged. Only a restart will display them again - and not where they were intended to be dragged to.

+ App does not support multi-tasking and dual pane. I often end up just loading this app in safari when I need to reference something in another app.

+ App does not support the ability to “Share to” other apps nor the ability to receive share intents from other apps.

+ App does not support any integrations with Siri shortcuts, calendar, notes, reminders, notifications, etc.

+ App does not support keyboard shortcuts.

I use Trello and Airtable and Zenkit seems to have potential. Zenkit now have Mindmap version, which is great.

However, 2 big issues that currently hampered my ability to use this app:

1). Syncing issue (iOS app)
I created a couple of new Collections on the web (not with Zenkit... Show more ). The this app iOS app was previously opened and now is in background mode. When I re-open Zenkit , the new Collections are not showing. There’s no “refresh” button, so I had to force closed the iOS app, re-open it and THEN the new Collections show up.

2). Slow (web version)
I have a Collection with about 400 rows and 15 columns. It is PAINFULLY slow to navigate and update this Collection. This is not a big Table by any chance. For comparison, the same Table is smooth in Airtable

My life isn’t run like a project, well at least not all of it. I need to be able to make simple lists with reoccurring tasks, period. Add that feature and I’ll be back.

you guys have a huge chance to compete with trello but need to act on it much quicker than the progress you have shown with the development of the iOS app

This is an interesting competitor to Trello. The web view supports many of the same features (and many more), and this iOS app is a much needed step in the right direction.

As a new user to PM apps, it does everything I need it to do…..My issue is the calendar view. It seems like it is stuck in “zoom in” mode, and I’ve been unable to view the whole month at once without scrolling up/down, left/right. Perfect for what I needed taking on a new responsibility within the organization. Just wish it didn’t seem so slow to think between pages and syncing. Not crazy slow, just not what we’ve all come to expect from apps. Also, when trying to use the print option for a collection, it crashes Zenkit ... Show more every time.

this app has been very helpful for my organization. I love it’s user-friendly layout and multiple options for task/activity tracking, lists, and simple aggregation of data.

I love the functionality of Zenkit. It’s definitely the best in its market. There are still a few glitches and missing functionality within Zenkit which has made it difficult to switch fully from Trello. Truly an awesome app for productivity but lacks in the checklist area, there is no way to make sub tasks which can be very useful full large planning. There is a subitems option but that ruins the overall view of the board.

We've used it to collaborate with clients, and it acts as a database for easily tracking clients by project, phone number, name, and email. I've had great success with Zenkit , and I'm sure you will too if you're looking for a second brain to get many jobs on track. Give it a shot!

Currently this is the perfect projects organization tool for me.
I love how simple smooth and intuitive it is!

We receive notifications if someone posted an update on a task. With help of the smartphone app my teams are able to communicate more efficiently and get things done much faster.

I’ve tried countless productivity apps. This is by far my favorite in terms of ease, visual design, and features. I only wish they had an addition view section with drag and drop for time blocking out my day/week etc.

We use this app on our non-profit board. The tool has improved our project management effectiveness across all committees.
It worked great and is much more intuitive than other products we’ve researched.
Still learning more functionality.

I always thought Trello was a great way to do things, but I always wanted to mess with it. With this app I can. I love being able to design the task list the way I want it. Super powerful. I have 12 different lists; each one is customized to its purpose. I like that there’s one tool that can do so... Show more many things.

I was happy enough with the iOS app until I upgraded to this revamped version. I now find it mostly unusable. Actions are hosed. Comes up with an "unactionable" bar at the bottom -- all you can do is hit X... What? At least the + works so I'm able to document new tasks on the go or away from a comp... Show more uter.

Still use the browser regularly, but please fix your iOS app ASAP. Love the product, but frustrated by this latest iOS app release.

The best thing I like about this app is that it allows you to customize your tasks however you like with different views (kanban, list, calendar view, etc). I was happy with just the web app but the mobile apps have made things even better.
