Not ready

2022-06-06

ZenkitToDo look really nice and I like all the features on it, except it does not consistently remind me of my reminders. Sometimes I get an email to remind me. Only once have I actually received a notification on my phone. The only consistent notification I get is inside ZenkitToDo if I open it up. What's the point of having a reminder for a set time if I have to remember to open ZenkitToDo to see a notification inside ZenkitToDo . Sorry. There other apps that are much better at this that are also cross platform. And where is the support? I tried to find the support to notify them of the issue, and there is no support link on the website or in ZenkitToDo . If you don't want to hear from your customers, how will you ever make a successful app?

Fell apart within a week

2022-07-07

After a few days, a list was completely erased. Then it wouldn’t let me add tasks to another list. Then another incredibly long list it took me forever to compile was erased. Then it wouldn’t let me check any tasks off two others. I gave up and am so frustrated. Three other people downloaded this and were part of shared tasks, and now we all have to start over. Support was nice, but it didn’t solve the problems, which just escalated until it was pointless.

Buggy

2022-08-08

Been using Wunderlist forever and saw this is supposed to be a replacement. The style and some functionality is there, but it app is SO BUGGY. Sad. Many times when opening it’s just a white screen and have to keep trying until ZenkitToDo actually loads. Drag and dropping items in a list to order it only works about 50% of the time. Slow to save and add items overall. I get what they’re trying to do, but it’s no where near able to be a Wunderlist replacement yet.

Bait and switch

2022-09-09

The actual App works better than wunderlist. The problem is that you can only share lists with 9 people before ALL 9 have to start paying. My current situation. I have lists I share with family members, CO workers and friends now totaling 8+ so now I have to pay $36 per person and every new one. It does matter how many lists they are in. They allow you a month to get neck deep before dropping that bomb on you. The model makes no sense. Why not charge premium for number of lists or number of people shared with? I have no problem paying but why should I pay for each family member that is on a list? BAIT and SWITCH!

Not Quite Ready....

2022-10-10

After reading an online article about Zenkit To-Do, I was excited to try it as a replacement for Wunderlist. Unfortunately that was short-lived. IMO ZenkitToDo may hold promise - the layout looks good and the Wunderlist import was a snap but it's just not ready for prime time. Once an existing list is open, there was no obvious way to add or delete items; swiping could only prioritize an item. The three-dot menu icon results in a "Coming soon" message (?). A to-do list app just shouldn't be this awkward to navigate. Maybe after some more dev work....

In the nick of time

2022-11-11

There's a universe where the "wunderkind" team that created Wunderlist going to work for Microsoft and taking two years to create a weak-tea substitute for Wunderlist makes sense. There are even sure to be people who find that assemblage of average elements super useful. I use Wunderlist and have evolved my use of its tools to a robust system tracking my personal to-do tasks. When the hard deadline of May 6 as the end of support for Wunderlist came downto a few weeks away, and none of the other "usual suspects" in the to-do universe were any closer to meeting my needs and expectations, I thought I'd end up trying to make the to-do app I use at work bend to my personal needs. I knew for sure I wasn't going to use Microsoft. My relief when I found Zenkit To Do was immense. All the function, all the familiarity, and an easy import of my data. Well done, Zenkit, well done!

Drop-In Wunderlist Replacement

2022-12-12

Wunderlist users who are disappointed in M$’s treatment of ZenkitToDo will love Zenkit To Do. There’s almost no learning curve, one-click transfer from Wunderlist, and very active development and support. Thanks to the Zenkit team for a fine product.

Wonderful start

2023-01-13

Thank you Zenkit. This is a wonderful start! I really like and the functionality of ZenkitToDo . It is great that you can email notifications, a feature not provided by Microsoft.

Great Support. Contact them and share your feedback!

2023-02-14

Is Zenkit To Do a 5 start app? Well, not yet, but they’re on the fast track to become what Wunderlist was. There have been bugs and features that still need to be implemented to catch up to Wunderlist, but having contacted their support team, they’re on the ball and keeping track of all the feature requests. We’re looking forward to what the future brings for Zenkit To Do. Let’s wish them the best of luck and support them by sending them bug reports and feature requests to make Zenkit To Do a 100% Wunderlist twin.

Bravo!

2023-03-15

Thanks, developers! I think many were disappointed in replacing Wunderlist with an unequal To Do MS. Thank God that during this time you released this application, which is even better than the reference Wunderlist. Good luck and without patience I will wait for the desktop version of Mac.

Go To Task/List App

2023-04-16

Was so sad to lose Wunderlist. Evaluated a number of replacements and this one won hands down. I live and die by my calendar apps. This productivity app helps keep my life organized with the ability to coordinate and play nice with others. Kudos to the Developers for a wonderful well-designed app!

Too perfect not to promote yourself.

2023-05-17

Either I’m completely blind or I can’t find a way to share your amazing app with my attorney friend. My wife and I use it for our solar company everyday. You blew Apple out of the water.

Love it so far!

2023-06-18

As a Wunderlist user, I was thrilled to see this new app, just in time since Wunderlist is expiring soon. So far it does everything I would have wanted it do. Its free version also comes with several theme colors and icons for lists/projects. Highly recommended if you like Wunderlist, which it closely resembles! I already gave it 5 stars and am now adding this review.

For Wunderlist Refugees!

2023-07-19

I never write reviews, but here we are. I did not realize how badly I depended on Wunderlist to keep my life in order until I tried to use Microsoft To Do as a replacement.
Zenkit to the rescue! Amongst many other handy features, Zenkit has the “Today” function that To Do eliminated.
Words cannot describe how relieved I am to have discovered ZenkitToDo. Thank you so much!

Job well done!

2023-08-20

For those of us that enjoyed wunderlist, specially the comments feature, this is ZenkitToDo that you need. It is easy to use, and it has all the essential features. I don't know why it has taken so long to the MS to-do app the include all the features but this team has done an outstanding job. And I will stay with ZenkitToDo.

The best app on my phone

2023-09-21

I switched to ZenkitToDo after Wunderlist was taken over and basically made unuseable by Microsoft.

I am very organized and I use it for my personal life, but could easily see it being applied in many work contexts, especially for project management.

It’s easy to use and understand + the most recent update has made it even easier to use and more customizable.

The ability to share lists has been a game changer for tracking to-do lists, home projects, groceries list in our household.

Would be a great app for parents or caregivers (nannies, nurses) to share to track baby/ patient feed times/ meds/ sleep, etc.

5+ stars ⭐️ for sure

A God-Send

2023-10-22

Just when I thought I’d have to suffer without Wunderlist in my life, along comes Zenkit To Do, which offers a seamless experience identical to Wunderlist. Data transfer was easy and ZenkitToDo has all the exact features of our dearly departed Wunderlist. This should teach Microsoft a lesson for their gigantic screwup with Microsoft To Do. Attention: Microsoft. All us Wunderlist users are not going to put up with your lousy replacement app. Zenkit To Do is now ZenkitToDo of choice.

Wunderlisters Rejoice

2023-11-23

I have been using Zenkit To Do for about 2 weeks or so now and I absolutely love it. I used Wunderlist for awhile a few years back and when they went to Microsoft I left them. I tried their Microsoft replacement and it is so s l o w it is literally unusable. I saw an ad if Facebook for ZenkitToDo and tried it out. I love it is beautiful. After a week and a half I subscribed. It is simple, fast, easy to use. I am not new to task list apps and have used many over the years. This one ranks among the best out there that I have tried.

Great transition from Wunderlist

2023-12-24

Super happy ZenkitToDo came out as Microsoft To Do just didn’t have the same functionality/feel.

I love how I can make multiple folders to separate my lists and the progress bar is an added bonus when completing subtasks under a list. I would like to see one thing implemented. Currently, there is no way to add a reminder under a sub task item, but only the title of the list name itself. It would be helpful to add reminders to subtasks or actually name the reminder.

Other than that, it’s a solid app! Thank you guys 🙂

What A Find!

2024-01-25

Where has ZenkitToDo been all of my life? It’s simple & clean, full-featured & fun. You can use it for free or pay a few bucks for some extra goodness. Every time I use ZenkitToDo I discover something else I like about it, like the little explosion when I star a task. The attention to detail by the developers is astonishing. Bravo! 👏🏻

Cant figure to Edit Task

2024-12-18

Unintuitive

Cannot figure how to edit an existing task

Notification problems.

2024-12-18

Like other people say. Notifications are a nightmare. We would like to see a notification everytime there is a comment. That’s not happening unless you tag the user. We don’t mind paying but these issues have to be fixed.

No need.

2024-12-18

Unless you’re tied into Zenkit Base, there’s simply no need for ZenkitToDo. Like Wunderlist? MS bought that ages ago and pretty much replicated it in their own To Do. Get that. Same thing, far less friction. As soon as you bounce me to an external site in order to pick my plan, just to set up reminders, I’m out. There’s no paradigm shift here. It’s not pretty. It doesn’t, in and of itself, do anything new. Even as a Zenkit user it’d just be yet another one of those b-list apps you’re sort of railroaded into using. Demand better. This ain’t it.

Zenkit User

2024-12-18

Why do you guys still NOT prioritizing keyboard shortcuts? I’ve provided this feedback as beta user long time ago. This is supposed to be “Productivity” tool. This is supposed to be given.

Potential

2024-12-18

ZenkitToDo looks great and works great, however, the subscription to Zenkit does not apply to Zenkit ToDo as well and that is a bit disappointing and difficult in these pressing times. If there was an all in one subscription integration, it’d be so easy to give a 5 star here!

Notification test

2024-12-18

Ok checking things out and testing. I created task due today and set a reminder on my iPhone where I’m using ZenkitToDo, that reminder time came and went, no notification popped up on my phone? Went thru all the settings. Am I missing something here? But beautiful app just needs lots more features first. Thank

Potential

2024-12-18

I think there is a lot of potential here but ZenkitToDo is a slog to use and the animations need more life; there is no easing. Make it more snappy and lively. It doesn’t excite me visually other than the nice themes.

I’m excited of the promise of integration with Zenkit and will be following to see the evolution.

Thank you!

I have been close to tears trying to find a replacement for Wunderlist. It seems like the majority of To Do list applications focus on sharing and ‘work’ productivity. And in this current Work From Home scenario that many are living through for COVID, one application that companies are pushing is Microsoft Teams, which is unbelievably and unnecessarily dense, but I have to deal with because of my job. But that’s WORK, so I accepted it.

But to see that the Wunderlist alternative was Microsoft To Do was almost laughable because it’s another cumbersome and clunky Microsoft tool that doesn't work well until you’ve researched and found shortcuts that can work for you. But as is almost always the case for Microsoft, a new rollout will eliminate any work arounds that the user has created.

But Wunderlist was the epitome of perfection because it was under complicated so a user can write and go, with a few extras. And THIS is an almost exact replica and just in the nick of time.

I’m testing and found that:
• importing from Wunderlist was so quick, even for tasks with attachments
• the themes have a dark mode, and for MS To Do not to have a dark background is almost criminal when battery life is precious
• I can’t seem to delete an earlier import that wasn’t complete and now I have semi duplicate

But I’m sure the developers are working on glitch fixes we speak. So THANK YOU for making a near perfect copy!
