I have posted several ads including household items, outdoor items and clothing. I’m sure there are more but every time I post within minutes the ad shows up as “removed“. I have asked other friends to post ads for me and they say they are having the same problem.
Seriously craigslist you need to get your crap together because your site is becoming nothing but a cesspool of scam ads that are not removed when they are flagged yet your algorithm or something is removing every single ad that I’m posting. My ads are simple items that are not scams and are worded with proper English and have pictures so there is no reason for them to be flagged it Has to be something with the algorithm. I have tried making new accounts and it just doesn’t matter. I’ve also tried deleting the ad and restoring it and that doesn’t change anything either.
It’s also very frustrating that you have to prove that you’re a human twice every time you want to respond to an ad. Why can’t once be enough?
You really need to make it harder to post the ad then to respond to the ad due to all the Scammer ads that are all over this site.
I’m about to quit using craigslist because I’m over this.

It’s with great sorrow and happiness that I Write this review. The happiness is that I finally got a new iPhone, the sad part is that my original “craigslist pro” app is no longer downloadable. It’s been with me for years and it will be sorely missed. It was simple and easy to use. The pictures could be brought up along with the descriptions. If l double clicked it would hide them. It had a simple way to sort through cities across the country. And it actually worked fantastic. Its the main reason I would get my phone repaired instead of replacing it.
I had friends that faced this unbearable and unnecessary tragedy before me. And I knew deep down that this day would eventually come for me too. Now I have to decide on what overly complicated jazzed up application to choose from. I’ve tried this application before and found it Next to Useless. (Compared to the Original). Just because someone can make something more complex doesn’t mean that they should. The old Adage “keep it simple stupid” doesn’t mean that the developers are stupid. IT’S JUST GREAT ADVICE.

After having to replace a lost phone and redownloading the Craigslist app, I logged in to my account to repost an item I had previously posted prior to replacing my device. I wanted to make some changes to the verbiage of my post. Upon doing this, changing the verbiage, I noticed all my images were missing from the original post?
I didn’t think too much about it and clicked on ‘edit images’ and CPlusClassifieds crashed, losing all the changes and corrects I’d just made to the text. So, I went back through the whole process thinking it was random, nope, same thing happened. I tried repeatedly. Finally, I wised up and made all the text changes and just posted without trying to add images, this was the only way I could get the text changes to stay. However, no matter what I do, I am unable to add any images? CPlusClassifieds crashes repeatedly. This is not helpful when you’re trying to sell something, people need to see the item.
I have repeatedly emailed Craigslist support and I get ZERO response. Not helpful at all. I will say when CPlusClassifieds works, it is helpful to move unwanted items but if I can’t get any help with this issue, I’ll be deleting CPlusClassifieds.

What happens when your classifieds app doesn't support the #1 classifieds site? It becomes useless. This was actually a really good app that I would check multiple times a day and preferred to the Craigslist app. It offers great features in its ability to have multiple locations that you can switch between quite easily, you can quickly respond to and post your own ads, create a favorites list, etc. But for some reason, as of this new update, Craigslist is no longer supported. And just like that a great useful app becomes irrelevant. Without Craigslist all you get are old random ads from Offerup, Indeed job listings you don't care about, and an endless amount of car ads. So many car ads. In realizing that Craigslist is no longer supported I immediately deleted CPlusClassifieds , as did most other people if you read the newest reviews, because without Craigslist it serves no purpose. If Craigslist were to return I would gladly resume using CPlusClassifieds. I'd even go as far as paying a few bucks for what was a useful service. Until then I'll be reluctantly using the official Craigslist app.

I actually really liked CPlusClassifieds, but it slowed my iPad down and made it glitchy, and I could only use it 2-3 times before Craigslist would block my IP address, which means I couldn’t use Craigslist at all unless I turned off the WiFi on my iPhone and just used cellular data. I sell a lot of stuff so this was very frustrating for me because it would take Craigslist sometimes over a day to unblock me. As quickly as things move in the Craigslist world, this could mean losing sales because I’m unable to update/renew my ads.

I only saw a few other people complaining of this issue and it seems as though we were all searching/posting in multiple areas/states. I would guess that this probably looks to Craigslist like scammer activity and may not even be something CPlusClassifieds can control, but nonetheless it still messed up my iPad too much and so I regrettably had to delete it. Now my iPad is back to its normal, lightning fast self and I haven’t been blocked from Craigslist since. I guess I will stick to Safari Craigslist or try to find another app that won’t have/cause so many issues.

CPlusClassifieds used to have items only from Craigslist but not anymore. It’s a totally different app now with all listings from other resources. Also, CPlusClassifieds has been glitchy since it made an update where you loose your place after looking at a listing when going back to the list, making it hard to find where you left off. I’m giving it a one star because they have not fixed this glitch making it difficult to use, and their logo is misleading by looking too much like the Craigslist logo while not providing any listings from Craigslist. FYI - Craigslist now has their own app which is very user friendly.
I would really suggest they change the logo so people won’t keep thinking it’s a choice for Craigslist and make it clear what they now offer. Nothing wrong with change if people like what you’re offering but also, no one wants to loose their place when they’re searching for something, either. It becomes frustrating and makes the experience unenjoyable. CPlusClassifieds does not interest me anymore. I have deleted it.

There aren't many good options for a Craigslist app in the store but this is one of the better ones. Despite that, I can't recommend CPlusClassifieds right now. For one, the push notifications are very inconsistent. I thought I'd get notifications as posts were added that matches my queries but that doesn't seem to be the case. It also doesn't seem to check on an interval either so you'll randomly get a notification... or maybe you never get one.
My biggest issue is that CPlusClassifieds seems to be making random queries in the background. My jailbroken phone has a firewall that shows me all outbound requests and every hour or so I'll see a random query for a random city in the US attempting to go out. For example, the last one was for a Pug in SF. I've never searched for a pug or for anything in SF. These aren't requests for any saved queries, queries with notifications, queries I've ever made, any locations I've ever searched; there's nothing tying these random search queries going on in the background to me but there they are.

Still is great on my iPad, but for the last year+ hasn’t worked for my iPhone. I’ve contacted the company several times but haven’t gotten any assistance. I just keep getting the error that the application cannot contact the server. Over the course of the last year or so I have managed to successfully use the application on my iPhone perhaps five times. Every other time I get that error.
I have found very little information on this error online. And have received no comment from the company itself. What little I have found refers to uploading posts, which is unrelated, or else refers to looking at results from multiple (meaning to many) servers. After reading this one, I slowly deleted all of the locations I was searching and even when using just one regardless of where in the world I was looking, I could not get the program to work for me.
EDIT file making this post, I opened the application and successfully did a search. That makes half a dozen successes over the last year, perhaps I have seen the last of the failure, but I expect not.

I have been using CL since the beginning and have really enjoyed searching for cars/trucks and toys on the site (I have only used the for sale part). I really liked that it was free to post my items for sale and seemed to be effective in selling the items despite a few fraudulent emails and ads. Those were easy enough to sift through if you knew what to look for.
Now that the ads are costing money I am very dissatisfied and disappointed. They have lost a long standing, honest fan of CL. I won’t post any more ads due to them asking for all the credit card information and money for the ad. It is kind of funny because if you go to their ‘about’ section, it says that they won’t ask for any personal information.
I can understand perhaps why they would charge money for the ads and just maybe it will weed out some of the fraudulent people but they will lose a lot of good followers as well. I simply don’t buy things online in order to decrease my chances of fraud. This was very disappointing and will lose many quality followers.

The pictures load quick, and once my posts are complete they are easy to access and manage in my account. At first glance shopping categories look easy, but once looking around its gets hard to navigate (scrolling endlessly through sale items), and the filter system doesn’t really work most of time (not pulling newest posts, not getting location of items correct, and not bringing up relevant items set in filter). I elected to skip map feature on my posts but there’s a map on my posts anyway. I also selected to be contacted via text only, but my posts give to option for users to call me, which I don’t like at all. The page for entering new post info keeps scrolling on my screen while I’m trying to type in a field (which is cumbersome & annoying), and my posts show they were posted more than 6 hours prior to when I actually posted (when I see other people’s posts showing as more recent within an hour). Can’t find my brand new posts under “newest”, and they don’t show up for assigned location either. I have to do specific keyword search to find them, and even then it’s a 50/50 chance of my posts ever showing up. Most likely my new posts won’t get that much exposure with CPlusClassifieds, not sure if I’ll continue using it. I’m giving CPlusClassifieds 3 stars because if the developers take the time to smooth out these problems, it has much better potential. However, if app continues functioning this way, I will most likely decrease my rating then delete CPlusClassifieds .

I've only been using CPlusClassifieds for about 24 hours and it's a decent app but there are a few major flaws, IMO. One: you can't simultaneously save a search and create an alert for that search. Two: CPlusClassifieds reloads every few minutes so if you move to a different app (say, emailing someone about a posting for example) it starts you back at the beginning and you have to scroll down to wherever you were. God forbid you didn't save the search. Three: "bundle duplicates" doesn't seem to do much because the housing section is FLOODED with daily ads from the same stupid college housing complex that mislabels their shared apartments as "1 bedrooms" (they are bedrooms in a multi-room apartment) and there is no way to filter these out by keyword not to batch delete.... But hey, it's free.

Otherwise it's pretty good so far. It's pretty intuitive to use. It automatically synced to my account so it knows to open Gmail when I hit "contact." Haven't explored all of the features.

Using saved searches is flawed . Create a search for a Ford Mustang and save it. For this example you decide not to use your custom search , instead manually typing in the search field at the top of the screen. Just for fun type in "Honda civic" it will now search for Honda civics. Now you have seen some civics but want to use the Ford Mustang search. Click "back" and then click on your Ford Mustang saved search . It is now searching for "Honda civic" even though the saved search is "Mustang ". Try again . Nope , it's still stuck on "Honda civic" though the saved search clearly shows "Mustang". Now erase or backspace over the sticking "Honda civic " search window. click the "back button" to go to the Mustang search . Click on the Mustang saved search and now it's stuck searching everything on Craigslist! (Because you backspaced on the search window and it's blank so it searched ALL) even if you click on Mustang saved search it still won't obey !

It’s still better than navigating CL on its own, but it’s not as clean and easy as it used to be. Ive had CPlusClassifieds almost since it started, and in the old iOSes it was a lot more functional. I deleted it for a time as they didn’t update it for several years, now they’ve made a comeback.

Pros: being able to save posts as favorites, categorizing said favorites, checking multiple cities at once, posting ads and editing through CPlusClassifieds .

Cons: still lots of scrolling past irrelevant junk, posts don’t always post how or when you want them to (I haven’t tried in a few months, they may have fixed it), posts don’t always save as a favorite, and you don’t always see every post in a given city via CPlusClassifieds vs just searching on CL itself. Once again, it’s better than it was for a while, but I still check back and forth on occasion.

I originally only gave it two stars but I have since reinstalled it after some time and I’ve been using it consistently for the last few days and it’s been working great so I have updated the review to four stars for now. thanks!

The developer is aware of the issues and indicates to limit the number of cities you search. But that kind of defeats the purpose of having an app like this in my opinion. If you have more than a few cities chosen to search eventually CPlusClassifieds is not app able to search anymore and gives an error. Or in some instances it just gives the same result for all locations. If you are looking for an app to search a ton of locations then CPlusClassifieds isn’t for you at this time. I will look for updates and keep trying. Otherwise the design and user interface is very good and easy to use. So I am looking forward to any fixes that may address these problems. I use Craigslist all the time and I have tried several different apps. THIS IS THE ONE! With CPlusClassifieds, I love how you can set your search areas and forget it. You can choose as many search areas as you want, and just forget it... no need to enter it again & again. I set mine to search all my neighboring cities. I love how you can set it to search for "Most Recent Ads" and "For Sale by Owner" and it just stays that way, unlike the desktop version. It automatically saves your last several searches so you can quickly search again & again for the same items. You are also able to tag the ads that interest you as "Saved" so you can quickly find the various ads you were interested in. Everything loads quickly, never an issue! No annoying ads & nothing to harass you. I 100% LOVE CPlusClassifieds!

No need to have 3-4 different apps, taking up space on your phone. This one does it all! I’ve been using CPlusClassifieds for years, to search CL, OfferUp (previously LetGo) and others. Just search what you’re looking for and it conveniently finds them all. Found an item posted within another app? Visit that ad, with one simple click. Not the right fit for what you’re looking for? Simply navigate back to CPlus and continue your search, there. Regularly searching for a specific item? Use the filters to critique exactly what you’re looking for and “Save Search”, to quickly get back to it, in the future. Want to know when new items are posted, for a specific search category? Use the “Save Alert” feature and you’ll be notified and among the first to view the item.

I use CPlusClassifieds every day, but I do occasionally find it unable to find certain items. A Google search on my computer revealed a great bargain, but it had not come up in CPlusClassifieds's search results. ( I use the "saved searches" feature extensively.) I could find it on my computer in the actual Craig's list, but not in CPlusClassifieds even when I typed in the exact title. That has happened twice now, so I wonder what bargains I have missed.
Also, for some of my searches I am only interested in items close to me and would not bother driving farther, though I would for higher ticket items. I wish I could individually customize the search areas for each saved search. The inconvenient listing more than triples the time it takes me to review my saved favorite searches.
It would also be great if there was a setting for "show newly listed items only."
Still, I think this is a great app.

I travel a lot up and down the state. CPlusClassifieds has allowed me to find listings in whatever areas I am passing by. Through it, I’ve have purchased 3 vehicles; found pieces for my china, which is an old pattern and difficult to find; pool equipment; cooktop; oven; an antique serving table and several other items.

Think about how Craigslist works...it’s a great website, but it’s limited to search one geographical area. Now, think Craigslist globally at your fingertips. CPlusClassifieds basically allows you to open your search to other areas. I also love that it shades the ads you had looked at previously....it’s so easy just to scan the ads if you’re looking for a particular item. And, you can save searches so you don’t have to retype everything and you can just click on CPlusClassifieds and click on your previous search and it quickly provides the results, shading the ones you previously previewed, while noting “new” to the new listings. I love it!!!!

There seems to be a bug with CPlusClassifieds . Pics aren't coming up every time unless I hit the original post button towards the bottom of the page. Neither are the contact phone numbers I'm sure this is a glitch from the previous update or two. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. CPlusClassifieds has become my favorite Craigslist app but these areas really need some attention. Thanks.

Update *******. Most of the glitches mentioned above have been addressed. I'd still like to see a search history instead of having to save every search I might want to search again later. You guys are doing a great job. Thank you!!

Update. After the last update it looks like they added search history to CPlusClassifieds . Great job. By far the best Craigslist app I've used. Thank you for the improvements

Like many in these comments , I use CPlusClassifieds daily and have for more than 5 years. About a week ago I noticed some things happening in CPlusClassifieds that were unusual. It turns out in an update the devs enabled the ability to search more than just Craigslist. I don’t like that so much so I simply turned it off in the settings area. Then this week I noticed CPlusClassifieds wouldn’t show me any ads at all. I read a bunch of new 1 star reviews saying people were sad that CPlusClassifieds we’ve all loved for years was now not working at all. Instead of leaving a 1 star review, I emailed the Developer and asked. They emailed me back within 15 minutes and provided a solution. My app is working great now. I upgraded to Pro to support these awesome devs!

I’ve owned CPlusClassifieds for years. I’m quite sure I actually bought a version after trying a free version with ads. I used to use it quite often, but I won’t anymore. If fact I can’t. The developers of this (once) cool Craigslist app have somehow blocked me from creating more than two notifications. The problem is...I have about 25 notifications saved already but I get a pop up window when opening CPlusClassifieds now, that says I have to pay for the premium edition if I want to use CPlusClassifieds with more than 2 notifications set. Hey diva nimrod devs, how about I just stop using your app and delete if from my iPhone and write a truthful review about my experience. Unfortunate that your greed exceeds you and you fail to understand CPlusClassifieds netiquette of grandfathering in your paying customers with at least the functionality they already had, if not giving them more when you update feature of CPlusClassifieds . Live and learn. Live and learn the hard way in this case.

I use CPlusClassifieds mainly because it doesn’t reset my search if I switch to a different app while using it, ie if I want to flip to chrome for a second it will keep my position in the search result page. That was the most annoying thing about the other CL app I like to use (it’s a green one in CPlusClassifieds Store and it’s also paid).

An irritating quirk CPlusClassifieds has is if you’re not very careful and deliberate about scrolling down, it will instead interpret a downstroke as a side swipe and will return you to the start page. Hugely annoying to have to make the search all over again and scroll forever to find my spot. Maybe implement a page system?

Other minor gripes but it’s less annoying to use CPlusClassifieds than the others, so four out of five for now.

I’ve had CPlusClassifieds for some time now. It works well. I only downloaded this one when my previous app for Craigslist was no longer offered or supported. There are a few things I don’t like about app. Here they are:

• It does not give you the option of saving your filters. You always have to go on a put them back in. I only ever want to see posts with pictures. Once you leave CPlusClassifieds you must go back in and re-check your filters. CPlusClassifieds I had previously saved that information.

• The Show More tab.
I have several cites saved in my app. While scrolling through a cities listings the Show More for the current city I am looking in blends in and I miss it. Would be great if that was bolder so that when you’re just scrolling through you don’t miss it.

• When you do a Search it would be amazing to have the option to uncheck ALL the categories then you could click the couple categories you’d like to search for that item in. Right now you have to scroll through and uncheck every single one. Slightly annoying only because there are so many to uncheck.

It’s a good app over all. Posting listings from it is easy and has never been glitchy. It’s never had any crashing issues for me. I do recommend getting it if you use Craigslist.

Easier to use than the website on safari with bigger displays, a map of the location with gps that gives you the estimated time it'll take to get there by car, easier to navigate and you can contact seller with only the press of a few buttons. Posting friendly as well, I check Craigslist up to two hours a day looking primarily at the furniture and the free section and I love the ease of CPlusClassifieds. Other great sections are jobs& gigs, beauty-services, pets-community and garage sales. Personals section isn't my jam but my sister met her husband off of their and my cousin met her ex fiancé off of their as well, it could really go either way. Being a broke millennial I am disappointed it's taken me years to download CPlusClassifieds but I am glad I did, Craigslist till I die

Great service. Too bad this, like every place else, political correctness and unfettered criticism effects every thing we do. Why do we care about what the people in another planet, another continent, another country or another state really care. It’s like we’re China and we’re isolated from the real world. We don’t remove scammers who rob and steal people blind, but say one thing that offends someone who is offended by toilet paper ads, and you’re BLOCKED. People post illegal stuff (Florida has way different laws about construction and trades, to protect real property values and insurance) all the time and Craigslist is not smart enough to block any of them. Either block everyone, or no one. I’m offended by anyone who is offended. Hell, if your offended, go elsewhere. Post what you like.

I love Craigslist, because as far as I know they don’t spy on you and track your every move and listen in on your conversations and sell you out like Facebook and others.

I love CPlusClassifieds because I can search multiple locations and use combinations of filters to search more specifically for what I want. I also love that I can contact CL ad listers directly through CPlusClassifieds and it actually keeps track of who I’ve contacted. That’s a really useful feature! I also love the map view where I can see where items are located. I haven’t had time to try some of the other features but I’m sure there’re plenty more handy ones.

To the developers of CPlusClassifieds, thanks for making such a great CL app and keep it up. 👍🏼

This app is not working anymore for my craigslist account. It appears it isn't supporting use for Craigslist sales anymore?? I can't find my listings anywhere or even figure out how to login! What happened? It was a great app to use!

Why can I not post or get to my account to do anything with my posts anymore? Very discouraging

Did you guys remove ability to post listings on your app recently?? I don't see any way to do it as of about a few months ago. Thanks.

1. Cannot bookmark a search. Am viewing a listing but see no bookmark icon to use. 2. Always forced to use portrait mode even when using a Galaxy 10.1" tablet.
