App or sensor? Which one is correct?
I don’t know - guessing the sensor doesn’t relay the right info. I’ll buy a temp and humidity gauge to place in locker just to be sure. And other than tracking battery level definitely not reliable! In other words, don’t bother with app! Would like Steak Locker to respond to my and everyone else’s questions and comments - you’d think that would be high on their list of to-do’s.

Here’s an example of an appropriate response: [we apologize for the poor performance of SteakLocker and sensor . . . We are developing a better and more reliable solution . . .
We will send the updated sensor which has been thoroughly tested free of charge . . . SteakLocker has been redesigned and improved as well . . . For your inconvenience, here is a voucher / pre-loaded credit card for $150 to purchase a primal cut from your local meat butcher . . .

This is the worst app in the store. Only able to use with 2.4 GHz wireless single band router and even if you are able to get SteakLocker connected to the internet, good luck figuring out what locker it’s connected to. My locker was set at 35 degrees and 70% humidity and SteakLocker said my locker was 79 degrees and 52% humidity. Disconnected and reconnected multiple times and read the same. Can’t control/change temp and humidity of locker from app. Worthless!!

It never seems to connect or provide accurate temp/humidity info. It used to be good to track your meat age but now the “add item” button is broken and crashes SteakLocker . So it can’t connect to display info and can’t add new items - not what I expected from a company that sells a $1500 dry ager. Beyond frustrating. Guess I’ll count days on a calendar.

Won’t connect to steak locker. It just says “Something went wrong, press reset button and try again.” I’ve done it 12 times and it won’t connect. I bought a Level Sense and use it to monitor the temp and humidity instead of this non-working app.

The fridge is working great, as I hoped for. Temperature and humidity control working fine ( if the in built sensors are correct)

SteakLocker and the wifi sensor never worked properly, not even close to the in built readings. App crashes or is completely useless other than for counting days with the wifi sensor...

I know 2 other guys who have the SL 150, and none of us can even get the locker to connect to SteakLocker . Beyond useless.

The Steak Locker is great.
SteakLocker isn’t worth trying.
Won’t connect.
And with not connecting you can’t even access the feature to track inventory.

Get the appliance, don’t bother with SteakLocker .

Please add some calibration to SteakLocker . My temp is off by 20 degrees and there is no way to calibrate it

Can’t get SteakLocker to connect to the module

Give it 2 stars only because SteakLocker does keep track of my meats but the temp and humidity are never right the couple of times that it stayed connected!

Set up takes time, but once done it works reliably. Warned me twice so far, once about high temp (km left door cracked), once about high humidity (ice build up from dirty gasket). Needs improvements though: can't recall the meat details once entered (weight etc) when the meat is done. It's simply gone. Not good. Also can't adjust date when entering data a day or two after meat was placed. Should offer export function to email for off-phone record keeping. Txs!

The latest version is a substantial improvement over the previous one. It now clearly sets out syncing and it has the battery level indicator on the dashboard. There is an Enterprise version that is the much more advanced app.
